[Q] deleted my os cant flash please help.

Hello guys have accidentally deleted my os .while trying to update v38. But am able to enter the recovery mode. And when I try to install the v38 rom it shows the setup is missing the barny file. What do I do guys how do I flash the v38 rom. And when I try to reboot or power off a message appears that there is no os continue with the reboot. And if I click ok then it gets stuck on the bootloop with the white MI logo whic doesn't change colour to orange and neither android is displayed on the bottom when its in bootloop.

Which is your model? 3G or 4G?
My suggestion that will help you is,
1) Flash a custom recovery TWRP/CMW, which can be flashed by renaming the zip to update.zip and flash from stock recovery
2) Then install the rom from recovery

For Note 4G I have saved extremely simple procedure to Flash via computer.
If anyone needs, I can put a link

r u sure that u download the v38 rom completely?
my suggestions is, follow the idea of #shining_sk said, then reboot again into recover mode, when it is back into recover mode, flash the rom.

Actually I have downloaded the fastboot ROM of cm12.1 ,my phone is in brick mode I mean boot loop, bootloader is locked , what I can do to get cm12.1 by that fastboot ROM ,how to flash that ,and unbrick my phone

How to update what's the first step I have to do

download fastboot package for cm12.1 , extract cm12.1 package and flash tools to same folder, then power off phone , keep pressing vol up button attached usb to phone , it will goto fast boot, then click flashall.bat
it is done,,
dont forget to install drivers if needed

When I flashing twrp on my phone after doing this to my phone ,my phone stuck on boot

It stuck on bootloop after flashing
Why??
I try 3 times and 3 time it stuck on bootloop

is it still in bootloop?
if yes then follow the steps:
1. Open device in fastboot mode.
2. in the adb and fastboot command promp type command (fastboot --wipe).
3. Then reboot your phone using the power button.
that's it now your phone should boot up with the device unlocked warning.

But please tell me the full process
I can't want to install other rom,I know after installing
Twrp it goes bootloop and I can fix it by flashing other rom
I just want to root my phone in stock rom only but in stock rom its not possible I thik ?
Any I tried all method like wipe data , catch etc. But it not working and my phone stuck on bootloop

Hey bro, if u want to root your stock rom then you may try to install twrp first.
1) Download twrp from here( must)

2) Then unlock oem. If already unlocked then ignore this step.
3) After unlocking oem commands.
Rum commands to install the downloaded twrp. "Fastboot flash recovery file_name.img"
4) Now, run command to erase userdata and cache. "Fastboot --wipe". If the command fails to wipe the data then go to next step.
5) Then press and hold power button + volume up button both at same time for opening bootloader menu. Select recovery mode from there.
6) if twrp opens then well and good. Then Restart your phone in fastboot mode using twrp .
7) erase data (see 4 point).
8) restart your phone using power button. Now the problem of bootloop is solved.
Please Follow steps strictly with ease..
If twrp flashing successfull or bootloop problem solves then tell me. I will tell you the steps to root stock rom.

Just remove the battery, insert it back in and reboot.

Hi Guys,
The same is happening to me.
My moto e3 power was working fine. But one day, the signal strength was getting low and internet was not working. So I decided to root and install a custom rom. I unlocked the boot loader. Tried to install twrp. But I am failing at this step. When I try to install twrp via fastboot, it succeeds and when I open recovery twrp is there, but it automatically reboots and gets stuck in a boot loop.
I fixed the boot loop by installing a stock rom via SP flash tool.
However I tried again to root and failed again. This time also used SP flash tool to install Stock ROM. Ended up getting Invalid IMEI error.
I tried frama root, king root, kingo root and nothing works!
Btw, I do have experience in rooting. I used more than 10 custom roms on my lenovo k6 power

Stuck in a boot loop and can't access recovery mode

So I flashed a custom rom and it required a specific TWRP recovery. But after installing the custom rom I had to install another TWRP recovery otherwise it wouldn't boot into OS (this recovery was probably unsupported and thus my phone was forced to boot into OS)
So every time I wanted to boot into recovery mode I had to use an app like flashify and flash the first recovery to boot into recovery mode. And after finishing I had to flash the "unsupported" recovery again in order to boot into OS.
Now with the "unsupported" recovery, I installed Xposed and some modules and then restarted the device. And..........boom! The phone is stuck in a boot loop! And I can't even boot into recovery mode.
Now here's the other nightmares I'm getting:
1. Cant use ADB to flash a new recovery because my device is "unauthorized" and in order to fix that I need to go to developers option which is not possible (because of boot loop)
2. Uninstall Xposed: button combinations aren't working and I cant go to recovery mode to flash the uninstaller zip
3. vol up + vol down + power button doesn't open recovery because the recovery is "unsupported"
4. Can't even boot to fastboot mode by holding vol down + power. It tries to boot into OS and starts boot looping
5. Can't use sp flash tool to flash stock rom or recovery because whenever I connect the phone to PC, the phone tries to boot into OS and....you guessed it starts boot looping.
Now I'm out of ideas and really depressed. If anyone can help me out with this I'll be grateful forever.
My device is: Lenovo k4 note
Chipset: MediaTek MT6753

I think the pc cant dtect my device same problem bro after installing new rom it keeps on rebooting after the lenovo logo. Cant also access the recovery mode. Please help me

Bro I'm not an expert. Someone from XDA discord server helped me with this. And I actually forgot the exact thing I did to be honest. I downloaded the sp flash tool on pc and downloaded the stock rom. Then flashed it to the phone. You have to connect your device via USB before. For a detailed guide you can search on YouTube with something like "how to flash stock rom via sp flash tool"
Or ask in the discord server. They will surely help you.

Thanks, the problem is my phone is struck on the Lenovo logo, it's not turning off but my computer deducted it as Lenovo device

If ADB can detect your device then you can just flash a new recovery and you should be fine. But as I said I'm not an expert so I'd suggest you to ask for help on the XDA discord server. That's where I got help from.

Need Help !!! Lenovo K6 K33_A48 Fastboot Mode Stuck

I have a problem with my phone, when I was sleeping my phone started restart itself I just dont care, why would I.. I thought that my phone just doin some random s*** again. But not its getting serious. I cant get out of fastboot mode. I tried Volume up+ Press but., Vol down + pres but. Nothing helped. After that I tried install Twrp and flash new boot and rom. LineAgeOs and after that original rom from Lenovo sup. Still I know everything is installed nothing helped. After that I tried to install new firmware with Qfil but again I cant get ports from Fastboot or Twrp.. Please guys if anybody maybe knew some solution please help. Thanks for any response.

Yes I can flash Twrp recovery and be in adb, but when I download rom from lenovo moto smart assist I cant detect my phone, even Lenovo Download Tool or Qfil. So I cant flash it.

just reinstall lineage os and try with moto assitant? actully thats works for me
