Hey! I have an unlocked S7 from T-Mobile. What all would I need to do to get it working with Verizon? Would Flashing Verizon firmware onto it (I actually already did this once for the Nougat Beta) make the CDMA radios work?

Yes you can flash the Verizon firmware or the 930u firmware and it will work on Verizon. There is no 930u Nougat firmware yet though.
I recently bought my s7 edge directly from the samsung website at&t version and got it unlocked to be used on the tmobile network. I tried updating the phone to nougat but at&t software update would say that I am on the latest software which was 6.0.1. I even used a working at&t sim card because I thought maybe you need to be on their network but still it gave me the same thing. Finally I just used odin to update to nougat but I wanted to know if anyone knows why I was not able to update ota?

You are on the international version if you bought it directly from Samsung. They haven't released the international N for the S7 Edge. I know this is frustrating but you aren't the only one. If you can put up with ATTs bloat then go flash the Odin files, they have been released for ATT.

I had my phone unlocked on pe1 I think by a guy with a z3x box and then updated to nougat because of boot looping issue to fix it, is it perm?, could I switch to the u on nougat or is it only a older version to older version, I read a guy went from nougat to 6.0.1 then to 6.0 on u from Sprint, and it works, just wanted a link to the g930u firmware I see be, Apr, att, t mobile, virgin mobile, unknown, do they all work fine or are they somewhat carrier specific?
I'm sure I not the only one switching carriers, I have unlocked S7 AT&T SMG930A , android version 6.0.1 on T-mobile network, everything work fine, what are my option to get version 7..
Thanks
Flash with Odin, or attempt to flash tmo fw in Odin.
I'm still using my tmobile gs7 edge and I would like to continue doing so, but I will be going to xfinity mobile and they use Verizon...i bought a pair of burner phones to activate service...
I've read that simply putting the sim in wont work, that I have to flash the verizon firmware or "U" firmware, but I'm seeing a lot of bootloader 4,5,8 and such. I'm not sure what to do.
I'm currently on the latest tmobile oreo stock 8crj1 firmware. Is flashing still possible? Or am I sol? Anybody that can guide me in the right direction? I appreciate it
Well as an update, I was able to figure it out. But in the event someone else has the same issue.
935U firmware does not work with Xfinity mobile.
If you would like to use your own byod for Xfinity you will need to install the 935V version. (Verizon)
Everything works as it should.
