hi, I also have had such questions, when I was looking the head unit for my car and after my market research, I have understood that most of the head units are fit for non-navigation cars. That is why I think not one of them wouldn't fit your car.
Check out my thread same model made for the cx5 more details coming shortly
I cant post links yet but google the following and click on SinoSmart Android Headunit

Has anyone purchased this head unit from joying and installed it? I am looking for a good android head unit with bluetooth and gps like this one. I have not found much in terms of reviews of this one.
Is this a good one? Any recommendations for one compatible with a 2011 328i e90 model?
Thanks
I dont have this unit but from the pics, the firmware and MCU look exactly like mine. Im guessing the diff is just the screen and button layout. So any Joying review should suffice. Bluetooth and GPS are on point. I love it

What is model you have? I was thinking about getting the pioneer 4100nex. I'm kinda wary of the joying one because I've read the Bluetooth phone calling microphone on the joying unit at least is almost unusable.
I am considering the Joying unit for my '09 E93 as well. One of the better features is the EasyConnect app for mirroring both Android and Apple. Since I have an Android and my better half loves her iPhone, and we both drive the car, it makes perfect sense from a compatibility standpoint. As for the rest, well, it's Android... and I can read the forums myself. I am seeking info about practical applications of this headunit on a BMW.
I have installed this unit since Dec 2015 in my 2007, e92 and I am very much satisfied with it. There are a coupple of things like the crappy mic or the bad radio connection but here at xda you can find workarounds for the problems.
The seat heating is controlled via screen after installing.
The aftersale support is also very good, except their english
If you do have any specific questions, feel free to ask.

bad radio connection can be fixed how?

what is the workaround for the bad radio connection?
What brands/suppliers currently carry Lollipop head units?
Joying, SmartRover, ...
Joying i think is the only one that has a clear ad for it. In-Dash says they do, but that thread for them on here is crazy long and seems complicated.

Erisin, NaviFly and Xtrons do
Hi guys!
So I bought an Android head unit for my mazda 3 2008 and I like it a lot so far. My friend saw it and he wants one too.
However, my head unit was designed only for the mazda 3 and there's no Android head units made for the Honda Civic before 2006. So, I guess he will have to pick an universal one.
So how does it work? Is it possible to have a universal head unit that will be flush with his car? If so, do you know any good Android head unit?
Thanks!
Hi, I recently bought a Secaine 10.2" head unit for a Jeep Renegade. It was advertised as running Android 5.0.1, but it is on Android 4.2 KitKat. Has anyone updated any similar units?
I also bought a android head unit from Seicane for my nissan murano that was advertised as having 5.1, but was actually running kitkat, all they did was re-skinned the UI, shame on them. You should let them know
Seicane has a lot of options for sizes that other resellers do not have, but i never see anyone on here like "oh man seicane is so great"
like i want this size for my Jeep Wrangler:

and no one really has it, I want Joying to make that

Theres no such thing as a "Seicaine" head unit, they are just sellers who sell head units from many different manufacturers.

A picture of your MCU may help identify what unit you have.
Thanks for any help with this. The MCU is as follows
5.3.19-3-88-047201-161124-BNR

No probs, with that info and the cpu type you should search the Android headunit general forums to try and find what unit you have.
Hi - I'm unsure which to buy so any advice is really appreciated!
I'm about to buy my first HU and all those I'm looking at have same spec: 8 core 4Gb 64Gb with DSP TDA785
The FunRover has a Spreadtrum SC9853I-IA chip, whereas the others have Rockchip PX5/PX30
Is Joying better in any way than the lesser know brands? Is FunRover respected (they say they have a European warehouse too). Most seem to use PX5 - is it good? Does anyone have any experience with the Spreadtrum?
I'd really appreciate any advice or opinions. I'll post a review once I get my HU.
Thanks!
Neither. Recommend Dasaita.

Thanks. Why are Dasaita better? Better audio/general quality/customer service? They seem to use very similar hardware.
I checked the Dasaita online shop and couldn't find a HU to fit VW Passat B7.
there you go..

Thanks, but I'm looking for a 2 din for 2012 passat.
Stay away from Joying ..

Yes, MTCD/E are all from MTC reference design. There are multiple resellers for each. Dasaita seem to be the best of the bunch in terms of reasonable quality, after sales (careful, multiple resellers).
Head over to the MTCD/E threads for more info. Also read wiki.
