Hi there,
Yesterday updated to Nougat via OTA and since can't read the mails in gmail and the playstore not loading up at all.
Anyone experienced the same or with other apps, maybe a solution?!
Thanks

Me.. And it sucks. I have been waiting for this update for ages.
I had the same experience. All Google apps either would not update or would just show a black screen.
I rebooted the phone and then all Google apps were working properly again.

Works fine here, only Maps doesn't update.
What error do you get?
You can always uninstall the app and then reinstall it through the Market...
Greetz
Side note but you need to update from alpha 11. Its ancient at this point and tons of things have been fixed since then.

I had this error once and I went to the app info screen and clicked on 'Uninstall updates' and it worked after that, haven't had it since.
(as seen in the pic from this post, but obviously for market, not maps)
I'm posting because I have 2 issues. The first one is that g mail stopped from functioning once you start to download some apps from playstore and you hit the g mail app it says a message " gmail unfrotunately stops" . The other issue is that the transparent look of the playstore is no longer transparent cause from the downloaded version which is 4.5.10 it upgrade automatically to 6.7.10 if I'm not wrong. Is there something wrong with this rom, cause trust me is one of the best roms I had ever tried and I wan't to keep it or is may something that I need to do that resolve this issue?
I'm using a sgh-i337m fully rooted and knoxed away!
Hi fellow xda mates,
I have updated the 6P with April updates.
But any of the VPN services are not working
Whenever I start the service it shows
unfortunately, vpndialogs.apk has stopped working.
I tried every possible way to fix this but nothing worked.
Like wipe cache and dalvik, clean flashed.
Tried with xposed
Please help me to fix this.
And second problem is Google services and Android OS drains the battery more than anything and it's too much for it. Felt very bad about this problems.
Can any of you help me out to fix these problems.
Thanks.

Anyone?
Without the proper basic troubleshooting there is nothing anyone will be able to tell you. Do your homework and then post the proper info
I had this issue with OpenVPN not working, and assumed it was because the patch changed something, however after a reboot and patiently waiting it started working.
You will need to let us know what VPN client you are using and other information as zelendel has stated.
Hey guys

I had the same problem but installing an older version fixed it for me.
You can search this version on Google: Instagram 7.9.0 (15997156) (arm) (nodpi)
My phone is on the latest btu software but now has a permanent notification telling up to update to nougat beta. I don't want to. How can I remove it
I've deregistered from the beta program but it's still there. I tried nougat bit right now I still prefer nougat so went back. Can nobody help. Surely I'm not the only one
Nougat is great your missing out
I already used the beta for 2 days. So no I'm Not missing out. Don't be so ignorant and patronising.
I tried it, I liked it, I gave my feedback and right now the beta for nougat is not as good as the full released marshmallow version so I went back until they've improved it.
I'll take that as a no lol
Install a package disabler from Play Store and disable the update apks
