Hi fellow xda mates,
I have updated the 6P with April updates.
But any of the VPN services are not working
Whenever I start the service it shows
unfortunately, vpndialogs.apk has stopped working.
I tried every possible way to fix this but nothing worked.
Like wipe cache and dalvik, clean flashed.
Tried with xposed
Please help me to fix this.
And second problem is Google services and Android OS drains the battery more than anything and it's too much for it. Felt very bad about this problems.
Can any of you help me out to fix these problems.
Thanks.

Anyone?
Without the proper basic troubleshooting there is nothing anyone will be able to tell you. Do your homework and then post the proper info
I had this issue with OpenVPN not working, and assumed it was because the patch changed something, however after a reboot and patiently waiting it started working.
You will need to let us know what VPN client you are using and other information as zelendel has stated.

I cannot enable wifi since I updated to 4.3 today. I've tried everything I know and wifi will not toggle on.
I am so frustrated!
I was rooted before the update and lost root afterwards FYI for anyone who has root using 4.2.2
Is anyone else experiencing this?
I did see a message saying something about it not finding something on my SD card but not sure if the message (that flashed briefly) had anything to do with this issue or not.
Restarting the phone doesn't help.
My S4 is useless to me without wifi.
I have done a factory data reset and wiped all data. Still having the same issue.

I know this doesn't help you, but it may help others.....
Don't EVER take an OTA while rooted. Jeez, I thought that was the cardinal rule when deciding to root ones phone.....

People just assume they will fine. This guy/girl, I'm sure wasn't that patient and flashed the zip. The main thread for the update shows that members have been having problems with WiFi while flashing the update zip on stock rooted.

I'm familiar with rooting somewhat and figured for sure I'd lose root. I didn't know about the wifi issues though. I'm really not a dumb butt (and I'm not suggesting that's what you're saying exactly), it's just that after searching and searching for a primary thread and not finding one on the issue, I went ahead and did the update being fine with potentially losing root temporarily till another root option came out.
I feel like a dumb butt because I still cannot find the thread that you're talking about. Maybe I'm just overwhelmed. I have no idea why but my continued searches are still turning out fruitless for finding any info on wifi troubles at all except for people in Germany on different carriers.
Will someone kindly point me in the right direction for the thread you're referring to and in the right direction as to how I can flash my phone back to stock/unrooted?
I was just excited to get this update and have never ran into issues like this before with updating OTA on other devices, except for losing root.
I really do appreciate any help and I'm sorry for having a putz moment.
Garry.

If you already updated to mja update, you went to the path of no return; well for awhile. You can odin or anything or go back to other firmware. Its like apple's ios firmwares now. Being stuck when you upgrade and cant downgrade sucks really.

I've posted several times about issues I've had with my mobile services (I get no bars, no service of any kind; wifi hotspot error) after I do backup and restores. This has happened to me doing manual backup/restore using CWM as well as TWRP. Mobile services also went out after allowing the built-in auto update feature for the nightlies. Note that everything worked fine up until these procedures.
I really like this ROM when its running fine but I cannot keep on with this. Currently, no form of re-install is restoring my mobile services.
Unless someone can address this issue and with a solid fix, I'm done with this ROM.
Running Sprint Note2 / SPH-L900. I do not claim to be advanced in these issues so, IF ANYONE NEEDS ANY FURTHER INFO FROM ME PLEASE ASK AND I WILL PROVIDE IT.
So much for the "even 1% of phones", OmniROM!!!

Sorry to hear that you have this issue. What happens when you install and update manually? Have you tried doing a full wipe, flashing an older version from like two days ago and update from OpenDelta. To see if the issue is still there. (Remember to make a Nandroid backup before doing this or you will lose your data)
Let me know,

You posted several times, well you probably posted in the wrong place. We have a bug report website at http://jira.omnirom.org and your issue has never been brought to my attention.
I doubt everyone with the Note 2 has no mobile services, so have you at least checked common locations like APN settings?

That's a Sprint device so it may suffer from "odd" issues other Note2 variants don't have... I need to look into it but Utkarsh may have been blind-supporting the L900 in which case we may need to pull that device until it gets a proper maintainer who actually owns the device.

I can only vouch for my L900 Note2, but it runs Omni nightlies swimmingly...on the L900 boards I've seen several reports of oddities with 4.4 ROMs, most commonly from people who did the rooted de-Knoxed 4.3 update with a "wifi fix".
It ain't a baseband thing...as I have the MK4 (latest) baseband....and I've never flashed a full 4.3 OTA ROM be it stock OTA or rooted with that "fix".

OK, so only some people are having these issues... Weird. If it's working for most people and there's someone actually fixing reproducible issues, then the device goes on.
SELinux Mode Changer is the answer

I had same issue with my n7105. After surfing through the web, I found the answer as "SELinux mode changer". If you had a 4.3 with Knox installed earlier, you might face this issue. Its because by default SELinux mode is 'Enforcing' and I had to change it to 'Permissive'. After that it works fine.
I also had trouble with SuperSU, so had to apply .zip from TWRP.
hope this helps
Hi,
I recently got my L720T flashed back to stock, and it was working fine until I logged into my Google account. Now, pop-ups from all the apps saying they unfortunately stopped keep coming up - so much that I can't even use my phone anymore.
Has anyone encountered this before? Was wondering if your guys know of a fix for this? This isn't a gapps flashing thing, right?
Note: It was only flashed to stock, nothing else ... does that mean it isn't rooted anymore?
I'm not sure if this has been asked before, and if it has, sorry for the duplicate thread and could you direct me to where the answer might be?
Thanks in advance.
Go into settings and to Google account andnwipe cache and data on it.

I couldn't be the only one with this issue. I've tried stock Nougat, rooted and unrooted. I've also tried Substratum latest version, Nougat. No matter what I get a FC by Google Play Services every few minutes. Tried clearing cache and data for Play Services, it seemed to help for some time then the problem came right back. This happened on my 5X which I'm selling now, as well as my 6P. Anybody else having this issue?
Until it is cleared up I'm sticking with 6.0.1.
If you don't have the latest version of Play Services you can try updating to the newest version. Check your installed version against the newest one on APK Mirror.

Getting FC on 6.0.1 now too. Got the appropriate Play Services from APK Mirror but no improvement. Enabled all permissions for it. Only thing I can think of now is installing apps one at a time until I start getting FC

Hello all! I have the same problem on my Nexus 6P brand new...
Play Services stops all time, i cannot download or update a thing from play store, i cannot communicate with google servers (only some times)
Downloads some times gives me error 960...
Keyboard also crashes a lot
I've tried: Flashing different stock roms, flashed pure nexus custom rom... also tried bunch of different gapps packs... made an nandroid backup from another nexus 6p working and put it on mine... etc.. nothing happens... there is also a tricky thing on wifi connections... i have to wait much too long for it recognizes the internet connetion (it connets fine at the network).. tried in 4 different houses, and with 3 different sims...
Anyone has a clue here? im done reading and trying.
Thanks in advance!

Check your rom, under Settings > About Phone, verify your build number for example NBD91K or NBD90X for example. Most custom Rom's link the vendor img in the post somewhere. If your familiar with flashing then you shouldn't have a problem. If not use, skipsoft toolkit to help you root/flash or anything else android.

Thanks! Ive just checked and i used the right vendor for pure nexus rom.
Thats not the problem.. In stock also i have this problem.
I have no more clue
I am on 24.12.16 build of nitrogen rom with flash kernel 4.2. I have been facing this issue since upgrading to 7.1.1 the issue was not in 7.0. For some reasons Hotspot tethering is not working ie when I try to receive file via apps like xender or shareit I can't receive as the other person can't connect to the Hotspot. It's been really frustrating I tried to Google but can't find anything. So please if anyone help me.
PS I have done clean install.
