Take a look at the video.
You need Odin3 v3.13.1, TWRP 3.2.3-2 and Magisk (18.1)
Thanks for the fast response!!
This look good. But do I only need the latest versions of the files for Android 9.0?
This would nice :good:

What do you mean exactly?
If you need a firmware:
https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/galaxy-s8/SM-G950F/DBT/download/G950FXXU4DSBA/257870/
Download it with SamFirm - then go very fast
Sorry, the firmware is not S8 + for the S8
But look here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...--s8-cross-device-development/thread-t3822134
Sorry. I mean the guy in the video roots a s8+ with version 7.0.
Can I do that with the newer versions of the apps on my S8+ with version 9.0 exactly he did?
If the root works I also need a stable Rome. Thanks for that Already :good:

that probably won't help him, he needed 8.0.355.
Among other things, why do you think its region is C185?

I think the questioner has already solved this . His post is one year old...
Btw, 8.0.0.355 is available for C10 and C185 using Firm Finder.
Hey @-Alf- , can I upgrade my RNE-L21C432 to Oreo manually using files from Firm Finder?
If so, how? Thanks!

Hello, yes you can. Download all 3 files and rename them.
The principle of the procedure can be found here:

Thank you very much! I now have HuRu for both 5.1 and 8.0 on SD Card, so I can easily switch between N and O .

I didn't use the huru updater method because I thought dload version was safer. I guess I have to use this now that I don't have access to the service rom.
Btw, I have a question I tried LeaOS ( and some other gsis like dotOS and AOSP) on my RNE-L21 8.0.0.348 (c185). But there were bugs I couldn't fix like storage issues ( bluetooth can send but can't recieve files, mega app saying file system problem) and GPU issues (Games are laggy compared to stock)
Do you think there's a possibility for it to be fixed by trying a higher firmware version (8.0.0.355) or should I try lower versions (like 8.0.0.310) or it doesn't matter?
I have little experience with custom ROMs on the RNE model, MORFUZ 4.5 was the best for me.
GSI Havoc 2.9 might be worth a try...

On some models it helps to solve problems with wi-fi, RIL or BT, I don't know how it is with RNE.
