Hello,
I have paired my Iconia Tab A500 with PC (W7) apparently with no issue but when I try to transer files (from PC to tablet) I get always an error report (attached).
It is in spanish and says something like "Bluetooth: demand could not be accepted"
I run HC 3.2 (Acer_A500_7.006.01_COM_GEN2) and have tried to make both PC and tablet visible at same time. Nothing works.
Any help?
Thanks in advance

hi. i have problem with my iconia bluetooth. i can't send apk file from pc to my tab. it always shows same error:
"this devise or computer can not process files of this type"
of course i have solved this problem with using "bluetooth file transfer" .
The phone is still able to charge but when trying to connect usb mass storage it will not work. Its not a problem with the rom nor the sd card. I went into the three color screen and it still wont say usb niether will usb flasher in magdlr. The cable ive been using has worked before so its not. Only thing i can think of is the phone drivers in my pc. Any suggestions :|?
on second thought i may have found my solution i bought the phone used on ebay and it had a new screen on it that was replaced so i have to push the usb really hard in order for it to work lol
Which operating system you are using. You might need a driver in your PC. Vista & Windows 7 automatically detect. XP gives some trouble.

If you are using android then look for FTP app in the market and download it. Then you will able to transfer your files from phone to pc and pc to phone over wifi network.
now i got a big problem my charger port is busted :|

How is it not working? When you plug it in (using stock cable I assume) does your phone say it is connected as a media device? If so you might have to click that and change to camera mode. The mac utility only work on one of those modes if I remember correctly.

Try an app called Airdroid.
---------- Post added at 05:35 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:34 PM ----------
And if you go to Kies on mac using the tools menu you should redownload the drivers. Then reboot mac and phone and try again.

My NP arrived in the post today. Installed Plex, Netflix and Youtube etc - all great. But now I want to install Kodi.
I followed many different guides (I am not to rooting or anything and understand ADB etc). I'm an Android dev for a living so I know I have all the drivers setup just fine. So, when I plug a USB OTG cable the NP doesnt see it, odd I thought. I plugged the NP into my Linux machine, nothing (adb usb shows nothing no matter what), same with my OSX laptop and Windows device manager doesn't think anything is connected.
I've therefore come to one of two conclusions... 1) the USB port is broken / disabled 2) i'm an idiot. I actually don't think it's the latter in this case.
Can someone assist me please?

I'm having the same problem, adb devices and fastboot devices isn't finding anything except for once. I was lucky enough for adb devices to find it once but as soon as I booted into fastboot it stopped working again. Of course I have tried different usb cables, ports and all works when using them on different phones. pretty frustrating.

you can install es file explorer from your pc by going to the google store and selecting your nexus player, you can then sync your google drive account and use it to install sideloader.
try stick mount to mount thumb drive , you can push apps and install them with skipsofts tool kit...
This is a new problem.
I had no problem before the 5.1.1 update. I have a OTG with four USB ports and an Ethernet port all of which worked perfectly before the update. I already have ES file explorer but since the Nexus plus doesn't recognize any USB device any more it's worthless at the moment.
I recently formatted my phone and put everything as before but now I am unable to move any files in the internal storages in my nexus 6p. Whenever I try pasting any file in the storage, the usual windows warning sound rings up and then nothing happens. No dialogues, nothing comes up.
The phone is running latest Android 7.1.1 with twrp 3.0.2.3 and a pixel mod provided here without the addons. https://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6p/themes-apps/zip-pixel-mod-t3505693
For coming up with this after format, I followed usual procedure, sideloaded the build, flashed twrp using adb and then flashed the mod using twrp.
Before formatting, I used the same config and the phone worked perfectly. I have no idea what caused this problem and I am unable to find any solution. Is it something with the permissions? or something else? How do I solve this issue??

Is USB debugging enabled in developer options? Is a notification coming up on the phone that says USB charging when you plug it into your computer? Or are you talking about moving files within the phone from one location to another?
Yes everything is taken care of. USB debugging enabled, the USB charging option is set to transfer files between pc and the phone..The MTP protocol. All I was trying to do was to put in some some music files and equaliser presents I saved prior to format back to the phone.

Does the phone actually show up as a drive on your computer?
Yes sir it does. I can access any file or folder in the storage just like any other phone.

This is a long shot but you haven't added any new drivers to your computer lately? I had an issue with a drive conflict causing something like you are describing but that was a long time ago. That might not happen anymore. Have you tried updating the Google USB driver or using Huawei 's program for phone computer access?

I didn't add any drivers to the pc but yes I did update the Android SDK packages. I don't remember what all packs were updated but I don't think that any USB driver got updated at that time...
Is it because of some driver issue?
You might want to use a program like Root Explorer to check if the read/write permissions are set properly either in the specific folder you are trying to copy files to or in the parent folder for your phone storage.
