Seeking KitKat SBF for XT905 (preferably Australian / Telstra) - Droid RAZR M Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi All,
I am looking for a KitKat based SBF for an Australian (Telstra) XT905.
If anybody is in a position to upload / share such an SBF that would be awesome!
Alternatively would it be possible to use an SBF from a different carrier, e.g.: Verizon, and then downgrade to the JB SBF that is already available.
My kernel is stuck at KK, but everything else is JB > this occurred because I used OTA updates (to KK) before 'zigging instead of zagging', long story short I just need to install some form of KK onto my XT905 (even if that means downgrading later!).
Any help here would be greatly appreciated.
Kind Regards,
Davo

need modded xt905 Aussie NON-HLOS for xt907 kk

i need to unlock lte 1800 band (as available in xt905), so i need modded xt905 Aussie NON-HLOS to flash on my xt907 (cm11 kk bootloader)
can any one please share it... existing dropbox and google drive links are not working...
I wouldn't try this as it will brick the phone. Reason: different Trustzone signatures. There are / were peoples attempting to flash different NON-HLOS modem BIOS for the particular RAZR M (for example, XT907 NON-HLOS onto XT901. The result is pretty obvious: dead as a doornail). I am researching on RAZR M unbricking and I can pretty much tell you mucking around with the BIOS (bootloader) is a big NO-NO.
I guess you can flash the complete XT905 firmware on the XT907. It did work for me and even the modem does work for GSM (no idea about LTE or CDMA though). It's just, that there is still no KitKat available, so a CM jbbl version would be needed.
I suppose you can - just have to have some confirmation so you can be sure you won't brick the phone you spent the hard-earned money on.

thanks alot,
is this the version that i should flash? and since im currently running cm 11 on kitkatbootloader does it support downgrade to this stock?
9.8.2Q_SMUIRD-7_SEMEAUnlk_USAXT90501TLSTRAE1019.0R_SMJBLTEAURETAIL_P008_A014_1FF_fb.xml
I don't know about the version number. I was on the first VZW KitKat (*.10) and flashed the latest available Aussie firmware which still is 98.21.7 (Build 9.8.2Q_SMUIRD-7) dated Jan 9, 2013.
As long as you have an unlocked bootloader, you can downgrade to JB. There are just some lines in the XML that have to be removed (GPT, TZ, and maybe something else if it fails - the usual procedure for downgrading).
Here are the official CM11 builds for JB bootloader, most likely there won't be any for CM12.
Edit: I was wrong about CM12 for JBBL. Obviously there will be builds for this older bootloader too.

[Q] Upgrade Bootloader Only (specifically XT905)

How to upgrade just the bootloader of a phone?
There is no official 3.4 kernel for RAZR M XT905 (Australian), so i tried to flash fxz of XT907 (.15 version)
I flashed all the files except system, modem and partition. Then I installed KKBL TWRP and it did worked. But it was not letting me install the new KKBL ROMS due to different value return in ro.secure.hardware, so I had to remove this line from updater-script.
The new rom installed and booted, but what showing System UI has stopped working constantly, this was solved by updating the modem as well. But the XT907 modem doesnot supports XT905 properly (very low signal strength, no network registration).
I hit the wall there, anyone else knows the proper way to achieve this? Can we mod the modem or firmware? Or can the Lollipop firmware be compiled for old kernel.? Are sbl1,sbl2,sbl3 only necessary bootloader files. What is the function of other files.
P.S Now BlissPop i sshowing Setup Wizard has stopped working. Any way out?
Well i just installed BlissPop nightly for JBBL and it is working
Yes, the bootloader has to be compatible with the modem and that's why you won't be able to use a JB modem with a KK bootloader in most cases.
But the KitKat rollout for the Aussie XT925 (Razr HD) has just started this week (it's 180.46.127) and since both phones' software is very similar, I guess KitKat for XT905 is just around the corner.

[Q] Help with JJBL to KKBL

Hey guys, I've recently inherited a relatively unused xt907 vzw that I plan to use when travelling. It was still running ICS when I got hold of it. I'm currently unlocked and rooted and running the latest nightly build for jbbl. As it seems like support is ending for jjbl roms, I'd like to update the bootloader (but remain unlocked and rooted) so I can put lollipop on this phone. Having only used Samsung phones before, I'm a bit of a moto noob, so any help or advice would be appreciated.
I suspect I need to use RSD lite to flash the .10 baseband firmware, right? I'm aware of the issues with .15.
If it matters, my current baseband version is SM_BP_101032.021.32.80P
Thanks in advance.
Since your bootloader is unlocked - you can flash whichever firmware you want with RSDLite. If you want the KKBL, you will need to flash either the .10 or .15 Razr M KitKat firmware or even the .10 luge KitKat firmware - your choice.

Thanks a lot, ATTACK. Is there one in particular you'd reccommend (or reccommend avoiding)?

Flash the .10 Razr M firmware (KDA20.62-10.1).
Head here > http://forum.xda-developers.com/droid-razr-m/general/guide-faq-how-to-root-boot-unlock-t2869432
Thanks again, ATTACK, this worked great I've got CM12 up and running. I had to install a CM11 4.4 build before CM12 because of bootlooping (tried multiple recoveries and CM 12 nightlies).
So in case anyone else comes across this: KDA20.62-10.1->CM 11->CM 12. Works like a charm.

[I337M] Upgrading from 4.4.2 to 5.0/Custom ROM

Hey guys,
Was wondering if some one could point me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it!
I have a modified Rogers Samsung Galaxy s4 with the following attributes and I want to upgrade to lollipop 5.0:
1)Ni2 BaseBand
2)Sim Unlocked
3)AWS Enabled (Currently on WIND network)
4)Running Stock 4.4.2 firmware, however has clockwork mod recovery.
5)Rooted with Odin r
I want to do a factory wipe as the phone is getting quite laggy an d then install a clean version of lollipop with one of those new roms on it (Goldeneye). My question are:
1)If I do a factory reset will I have to enable AWS again in order to work on WIND? Is it possible on that updated modem?
2)Can some one point me to the proper thread, I tried looking with no success of anything that aligns with my specific situation .
Thanks for your help
First first you néd to upgrade to stock lollipop via odin late root+recovery (twrp work fine) ●●●●

830LC stock firmware with LTE version needed

Anybody got the stock firmware for 830LC with LTE version? Or do you know where to download?
Thank you.
Try to look at needrom.com. Also look here as some topics are related to 830LC and contain links or howto's, for example
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=63308879
if what you need is the stock rom of the kitkat one it was already given to you
i have no knowledge of an available (YET) official lollipop stock rom for your model, but going up to Lollipop can always be done by taking the OTA after a KitKat stock rom flash, so this is not an issue if you are on KitKat
the problem is when your tab is already on Lollipop and you want to go back to stock KitKat (to stay there or to take the Lollipop OTA), if you just flash the KitKat rom you will softbrick on the first reboot after flashing kitkat because your tab would try to boot a kitkat system from a lollipop leftover initialisation system, this can be solved too with some minimal effort/knowledge but as you told already you don't know how to use a terminal so i would suggest that you keep waiting (or just play a little to learn a minimal knowledge of android flashing tools).
or wait some more so i somebody will pack an all-in-one flash stock KitKat rom package for your model with the bios downgrade (Lollipop to KitKat) included
i don't think Lenovo would ever release a KitKat stock rom flashable directly from Lollipop (this would go against their upgrade/one way policy)
Thnaks pal, you've save my day
