Noob Needing Help!

Hi just got myy samsung galaxy s.
Managed to root it with superoneclick after about 2 hours, Installed rom manager and flashed the clockworkmod off of that.
Now when i try to boot into CWR it just goes to the standard samsung recovery.
Anybody know why and how i can fix it?

If you just got it I'm assuming it's on 2.2, which will have 3e recovery which isn't compatible with CWM. You'll need to use Odin to flash either CF-Root or a kernel with CWM built in.

You need to flash a cwm enabled kernel via odin. I would suggest speedmod. That will give you the proper recovery and then you can go from there.

ROOT NEW FIRMWARE WITH CWM and ROOT ZIP

flash pre rooted firmware with ODIN
Install CWM 6.0.2.7 (ADB)
put SD card root zip
flash new firmware (non rooted) with ODIN (auto reboot)
after flash, reboot device in CWM
Install root zip with CWM
reboot
I tested this, working,

If it will increase the binary counter you can reset it because now we have Triangle Away support .

Install custom recovery without a computer?

My Motherboard on my I9505 messed up and every few min. I would get no sim card and have to reboot.
I got it replaced and i used kingroot to root my phone. I used one click to root and install cwm last time. I have no computer to install a custom recovery. Is there a way to install custom recovery with flashify or rashr or maybe moble odin pro? I don't want a brick but I need a custom recovery. Please help.....

Flashify should work fine. Use TWRP recovery though. CWM and Philz are outdated and not maintained anymore.

Yes! Flashing worked! First had to flash a custom kernel. Then I flashed a custom recovery. And it worked..... thanks. Rash wouldn't work. It kept flashing stock recovery over my custom recovery.

how to flash rom in ms103g?

Please Help me
I have grand 2. Stock rom 4.3 jelly bean. Rooted using kingroot apk.
And my device is ms103g. I repeat ms103g.
It has only one cwm recovery beta version.
I flashed it via odin.
After flashing a custom rom NOTE 4 ALPHA S6 PORT or ROM KK TECHMATE S ROM V1.0 4.4.2 NH3. It was flashed but when I reboot it stucks on boot logo.
After this I was switched off my mobile and rebooted to recovery. In mount s
ection system and data are not mounted. I was remount it and reboot but nothing happened please help me how to flash custom rom. Or is there any other recovery. Thanks in advance. Sorry for my bad English.

I was also did. But blank recovery open and phone reboot.
My device is ms103g and there is all recovery for ms013g.
In terminal emualter app it shows [email protected] I m very confused.

flash stock rom via odin

Hey guys
I flashed a gpe 5.1 Rom for my i9505.
But after flashing it I lost my TWRP Recovery and the Rom was not rooted. Now how can I root it again? And the rom is usually for i9505G but i works very well on my i9505, but the problem no root and no recovery anymore.

Are you able to reflash twrp using Odin and then flash supersu from twrp?

Can i use a twrp recovery for my s4 i9505? And it doesn't matter on which rom i am?

Find the version of twrp here that can be flashed via Odin: https://twrp.me/Devices/
Doesn't matter which rom you are using unless it is cm13 which is pre-rooted.

when the s4 is on it will be detected with no problem, but in download mode it wont be detected. i hate this rom so much

Did you download a stock GPE rom or one from the forum here?
As the stock GPE roms are the same as Samsung stock roms. Meaning that you lose root and custom recovery.
Anyway, have you tried installing SuperSU from the play store.
You can flash a recovery using flashify. But I guess this needs root. You also need the recovery.img to work.

cwm is the best for 505 try it it will be efficated
