Hi,
Problem is, that I cannot use Xposed anymore with CM 12.1, nor Vaniraosp (Exodus). I say that I can't use it anymore because Xposed used to work with Vaniraosp before I updated to the latest build.
What happens is that I flash Xposed zip through twrp as usual, but then my phone just won't boot, it doesn't bootloop, it just doesn't boot up.
I would appreciate some help, thanks [emoji3]

I don't think you're suing the right xposed build for those ROMs.

I'm using CM 12.1 which is android 5.1.1 and so is Vaniraosp. With them I'm using Xposed for Android 5.1.
Is that what you meant?

No - I mean that there might be a ROM specific xposed build. For instance, my SlimLP ROM needed it's own build of xposed that I found in the thread. the regular 5.1 Xposed caused bootloops.

Oh, well, I guess I have to search for such a thing then. I'll give an update soon.
Update: I just found out that there is a newer Xposed build (v75) and I was using a slightly older v74 so I'm flashing this in a minute and I'll see if it works.
Update 2: Boom! That did it.Thx for the help guys.

I've been using Invicta os Oreo build for about a month now , and now as the development for the build has been stopped , I would like to switch to some other Good and stable ROM .. Invicta was very good for me , and for installing any other ROM , should I just delete data and system or else any different procedure as I'm downgrading the Android Version .
Thanks in advance . ?

This shouldn't be on this forum, it should be under questions.
In any case there isn't any roms right now and you can't run 7.1.2 and 8.0 side by side because of encryption... just wait first for some roms

Oh I am Sorry.
But with Dual boot Patcher you can boot each room without encryption.
Anyone?

My friend is buying a Moto X so I can install a custom ROM for him. Stability and over-the-air updates are key. What do you suggest?

Thanks for the link. My friend does not want any GApps running on the device. I am currently on a OnePlus 3T running Sultan's version of LOS 14 without GApps. He wants his phone to be similar.

I also don't use any gapps. He wants to use the FDroid repo as I do for all apps. It suffices quite well and is open source.
It means we have come a long way from earlier days where stock ROMs used to be terrible. XD XD
Don't need to fix what isn't broken XD

No comment of you own? Or are you dumbfounded that all the hype about custom kernels/roms don't add up?
Stock ROMs are best for people who are loyal to the handset manufacturers and are extremely cautious about security. But if you are someone who wants fast performance and customizations, then stock ROMs (except miui type ROMs) are no match to custom ROMs.

Disagree with this, anyone loyal to manufacturers ROM would not have bought an A1 with Android One, In the past I have spent ages changing ROM's or debloating to get a pure Android experience without manufacturers bloat. Anyone loyal to the manufacturers would have bought a MIUI based phone and not and Android One phone in the first place.
With the A1 you get that pure Android experience which for me is the best experience as the OP says.

1. Flash stock ROM via MiFlash (don't lock your bootloader)
2. Flash magisk + moun kernel after booting into stock ROM

It currently has a bug that notification stays on instead of blinking, if this is a major issue for you then use the latest 8.0
