Eap sim/aka - YotaPhone

hi,
I am using yotaphone2 running 5.0-HK-1.1.66. in order to connect to my mobile provider wifi hotspots, I would have to use authentication methode EAP/AKA which is apparently not available with this version.
does anyone know whether the EU or RU versions would support that method?
thanks,
markus

WAP Internet with 1.72 UK ROM

Hi there.
I am using the official 1.72.181 UK ROM on my Australian XDA II- connect through Telstra.
All works well, except that I can't access the Telstra WAP homepage- or any other page that begins with wap.[web site name]. When I had an Australian ROM, you had to use WSP://.. to indicate that it was a WAP site- this doesn't work with the UK ROM.
Has anyone else had this problem?
thanks

Remember, the 181 ROM has been modified to work with O2 UK's WAP site - using wsp:// will work, but the telsta settings need to be in the My Work Settings, and you need to change the gateway address in the Proxy settings from o2's to Telstra (whatever they are)
Thanks. I should have added that I can access all http://www. [ ] sites- I have the internet settings working fine.
Its only sites that start with the wap. prefix that I can't access, such as the Telstra WAP homepage. I can access other WAP sites, but only those that have the form http://www.[ ].com/wap
IE seems to not know what to do with the wap. [ ] prefix

Network configuration Wizard (WM6)

Afternoon/Morning/etc
With the vairous windows movile 6 builds you guys have here
there is a network configuration wizard that is in the build
Is that a tool some one here has created or something HTC/Microsoft have created ??
As it is currently wrong (at least its wrong for New Zealand)
when it runs through the Vodafone NZ setup, it sets the apn for the internet connection to be www.vodafone.co.nz that is incorrect it should be www.vodafone.net.nz
so um who do I tell
Cheers

WPA-PSK/AES possible on Wizard?

I just got a new Draytek 2800VG router and have set it to WPA-PSK/AES (does not have WPA-PSK/TPIK) encryption.
Is there any way I can get this encryption to work on the Wizard? I am currently using dferreira's WM5SE ROM on TMO's 2.26 ROM, IPL 2.26, SPL, 2.26.
Have you tested to login with the Wizard? I think it will ask you for user/pass and then you will be logged in Worked for me. But it will not work with WPA-Enterprise.
Hi. If I drop the security on the router then I can connect no problem. I just wondered if there was a hack to allow me to connect using the WPA-psk/AES security.

WPA2 & AES was implemented in AKU 3.x I think. Faria released an AKU 3.3 ROM ages before the official one appeared and this had WPA2 & AES. I think you can also just copy a newer tnetwlan.dll over the existing one and you should have support for this. Search for tnetwlan.dll on here.

Thanks. I'll see if I can find that DLL and try it.
OK found it. It's called tnetwln.dll not tnetwlan.dll
