I have htc one m9+. I have a problem with Rom.
when I put headphones and push up the volume more than half my fault and puts the message "process com.android.systemui it has stopped"
I tried several things. I do a factory reset and some other active I found on the internet but nothing
I'm looking now to change the rom, but I am confused little
press to get rom for htc one m9+ and sent me for htc one m9 (not plus)
spend the same rom? rom what I proposed?

Are the ROM's for the M9 working for the M9 Plus..
Or are there specific rooms for the M9Plus

I just bought my htc hero and the when i turn it on i could not find android market i would want to know how do i flash my htc hero so i can get the android market and everything any links i can have or info ? And is this normal because i had a rooted G1 before and i could Home +power button and it brings me to the recovery screen i think thats what its called but i cant do the home power button on my htc hero it brings me to a image off a phone and something else can someone tell me if that is normal.

If your hero is new then it probably isn't rooted.

yeah odd are your phones not rooted...if you really do want to go back to original htc roms then go to htc and install the sync,download the ruu and just follow the instructions on the htc site

I just typed a big message, consisting 3 pages/messages, hit the Send button and all what got send was the letter 'e'.
After some flashing experiments, I switched to the stock ROM 1.66.
Is there any alternative? I've seen an update on the HTC site http://www.htc.com/nl/SupportDownload.aspx?p_id=297&cat=0&dl_id=812
but when hitting Setup, it says it's not compatible, which is wierd right?
What should I do now?
Ow wait, it's not weird the update didn't work, cause that update was developed before the ROM upgrade (the 1.66 which I'm currently using).
So I still need a solution for my problem with messaging
I'm guessing that update if for your region?
Anyway, try flashing Miri & Dinik ROM 17.4! It uses HTC messaging 2015, which is QUITE snappy. I have over 1120 messages to the girlfriend and they load with NO issue.
Or you can use WinMo messaging?

I am reasonably new to the android scene, having had an iPhone since the day one, my iPhone 4 was recently stolen, and I took the brave decision to replace it with a HTC Desire.
I have just rooted my HTC desire using UnrEVOked, and it was successful.. now I am interested in loading a custom ROM, and after looking around briefly, have noticed that the Desire HD ROM has caught my eye (after seeing a video of it running on the Desire).
I like the extra features that Desire HD has that make the phone more usable in my opinion.
I understand how to load ROMs but I am struggling to find where I can locate this ROM, and does it have to be a version of the ROM specifically designed for the HTC desire?
Any help would be appreciated!
(By the way, I have already attempted to use the "Search" feature of the forum, but it seems the search feature is currently down. "Search is not available at the moment")

if you have already rooted your phone with unrevoked clockwork mod should be installed
enter recovery mode and flash the zip file or if you refer a GUI approach use ROM manager

Hello xda forms users i am one of the sad user of htc tattoo i have see lot of forms and websites and surfing in google regrading htc tattoo update from 1.6 to 2.1 lot of forms and websites have posted that tattoo is going to get a update but when even an indian mobile company Micromax has lanched and andriod mobile Micromax Andro A60 with os version 2.1 but why htc is not making a update for htc tattoo what is wrong with it i bought my tattoo in 05/2010 from that day on words i am wainting for a update i have see some custom roms but some features are not working like camera,fm etc can u pls tell me how can i update my os with custom rom with all features PLS HELP ME IN THIES ISSUE i believe that xda forms users will help me
you can not get rom with all features if not all features are working (like you said camera,fm...)
so you'll just have to stick with that one if you need them,and if you don't try playing and upgrading

HTC won't update the phone
You can flash a custom rom with 2.2.1 or 2.3 but no camera or radio (who uses fm radio anyway?)
That is your only option.
The forum IS pretty big.
Maybe camera will work in the soon future. Now in kalimo's ROM one can see previews, very low resolution pictures.
But you can also flash one of the many 1.6 ROMs here. They all have functionning camera and FM radio.
I have a T-Mobile UK HTC HD2 and I can't find a old stock rom for it, I went the HTC website but that gives me an updated one with 3.08 spl.
Can anyone tell me where to find an older one?
