S7 Edge (G935A) not receiving Nougat update? - Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Questions and Answers

My wife and I are on AT&T. She has the regular S7 and recieved her Nougat update days ago. I still haven't received it yet on my S7 Edge. AT&T hasn't been of any help thus far. Their forum says the update was released for both models on Feb 17,but my wife's phone didn't get the update until March. Perhaps I just need to wait longer? My phone is stock and has never been rooted or modified. (my old one was, but it crapped out and now I have a "new" one) Any suggestions or ideas on why I'm not receiving the update? Anyone else have the Edge on AT&T that's gotten the Nougat update?

Side load SM-G935U update?

I have this model. I was using it on TMO while waiting for the Note 7 replacement. I got the new Note 7. I took the simcard from my old work provided iPhone 6 and put it into the unlocked S7E.
My question is that AT&T is the simcard that was in the iPhone and I don't seem to be getting the patch from Samsung for the Sept patches and the rest of that payload since it's connected to AT&T. Is there a way to sideload this update without screwing up KNOX? I'm a newb to Samsung phones as I've used Nexus phones since the Nexus One.
Any help or tips would be amazing. I don't really want to put the TMO sim in and wait for the update to push.

Just bought this phone! received no software updates?

I just bought this phone 20 hours ago and I was expecting a lot of software updates But I received non! it says I'm on the latest version.
Is this normal? I have the FD version, the guy on the store said the dual-sim receives the same firmware and I shouldn't worry about not getting software updates!
Dual SIM receives the same updates. I usually get the updates at the end of the month. I'm currently on the November patch on a dual sim version. Just wait for it.

Android 7.1.1 or later for Verizon Customers?

I have a 64 GB Nexus 6P, currently running Android Nougat 7.0. Verizon is my provider. On 12.5.16, I received a notification that the update to 7.1.1 was available, but when I attempted an OTA, I did not get the update, nor the security patch. I read on the internet that Verizon blocked the update for Nexus 6P customers due to a SIM issue with this update. I am still running 7.0 and Settings shows my phone as up to date. Verizon has not been able to provide any information about why this update was blocked. I was told by a T-Mobile store supervisor that their Nexus 6P customers did get the update to 7.1.1. If I were to leave Verizon and switch to T-Mobile, allowed the update to 7.1.1, but then found T-Mobile reception was not good, I don't think I could return to Verizon with a phone updated to a version they had blocked. I was looking forward to Visual Voicemail, which I believe was introduced in 7.1.1. Could someone tell me if this block from Verizon is expected to affect all future Android upgrades for my Nexus 6P or is Google known to be working on a fix. ?Am I blocked from any future upgrades now that Verizon has blocked this one? Verizon told me there was a similar issue for the Pixel, but it was fixed because Verizon sells the Pixel, but never sold the Nexus 6P.

There are many "stuck" posts on XDA, but sometimes the Verizon ones get buried. Your phone is not blocked from getting an update, nor have Verizon phones been blocked- it's just stuck and sometimes that just happens. There is a 7.1.1 January update expressly for Verizon phones (N4F26J) that includes a new modem to address the Visual Voicemail and other Verizon specific issues. You can try various methods to force the OTA again such as a SIM swap, but you can also download and flash the full OTA directly to the phone. You don't have to be unlocked or rooted to do this. To address the other part of your question, you can definitely swap out SIMS from different carriers and go back and forth- not just in the US but many countries overseas as well. That is the beauty (and purpose) of owning a carrier unlocked phone.

Still waiting on Pie update for S8 (SM-G950U) on AT&T

I've tried looking through the threads and I have seen some people getting updates and others saying they have not. Has AT&T officially released the Pie update for the SM-G950U? My partner's phone is stuck on Oreo [RF5(ATT)]. I'm not sure if there's something wrong with her phone or if the update just hasn't been pushed.

I know of several S8's that have gotten the ATT update but mine won't update, getting frustrated with ATT over this.

LG V20 H910a won't Android update

So my wife and I both bought LG V20 H910a (AT&T unlocked phones) from newegg and amazon about 2-3 years back. We are using AT&T services so we are not off network but either of us can not get updates through AT&T OTA updates. We are still running Android 7.0 and software H91010m (April 2017) and can not receive any updates at all. AT&T has been little to no help. Any ideas on how to get update as feel kind of rip not getting Android 8.0 or 9.0.
