ASUS Zenfone5 A500KL 16GB LTE Big problem - Zenfone 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello everybody.
I do not know how, but I managed to somehow obviously completely erase the entire phone. Thus, it is not a bootloader, and recovery or system. Since the phone starts. After connecting to the PC, phone and report the Explorer to show me the 20 compartments of various sizes. That's about everything which I have now got to the phone. Thus, I ask, is there a real expert who knew how to do it? Can anyone help? Thank you so much, I'll be glad for any advice.
Sorry for my bad english. :crying: :crying: :crying:

No help here? (((

Big Problem Please Help

Hello all,
I have a little problem with my phone. I used the command format ALL and now the phone doesn't wants to tun on.
Please help.
Not sure how much there is to do, if you format all then you wipe the bootloader too. Without the bootloader you wont be able to reflash the phone so I think you might have a new paperweight there.

DVP stuck on boot screen, cant recovery mode, restore using back up

Hello, my DVP suddenly went bonkers and all i get is the DELL boot logo. I tried going into recovery to restore but pc wont detect. I cant do anything. i cant install anything using cab sender since cant detect and i cant unbrick due to same reason....anyone know how to fix this? Thank you in advance.
It sounds like the internal SD card crapped out. You could try my unbrick method but it sounds like it isnt being detected. Check in device manager to see if the USB device is being detected.
no detection at all. my friend told me he installed something on it using cab sender. Don't know what files were used but if need ill ask him. If only connection still worked i can restore stupid phone.
Anyone has any idea what to do? phone is just being paper weight now would like to use it again

i had the same problem with other DVP, and i think that the processor is dead, because the snapdragon QSD8250 have this issue, i know but some month´s ago, i buyed two non working hd2, thinking that have problems of software and after research many days, i find this problem ,this proccesor dies for overheating , to solve this i buyed two hd2 with broken display and change the board, for this reason, buyed a broken dvp to do the same, ...sorry for the bad news,
Im pretty sure its not a cpu issue, i mentioned my friend force install something using cab sender and the issue happened because of that. Im trying to figure out how to recovery from this issue. thanks for help anyways

I agree with you. I have the same problem because of skipped upgrading of ROM, form 7004 to 7720. I have tried some steps on the device,
and find JTAG pins on board, now I'm seeking a riffbox to fix the problem, maybe Nosker can answer if this is feasible. I had followed his thread here:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1207805
Just for your reference...
seems very interesting. I hope you guys are able to proceed with what you guys are doing. I read the thread, so if i were to fix it i would need a riftbox? im very noobie in the stuff mentioned in the thread but if you guys are able to give a guide then i can follow it . best of luck to you guys!
did you guys ever got this resolved? i'm having the same problem.

Has anyone come up with a fix for this issue? my DVP will come on and the DELL logo will appear for a few seconds then the connect to pc screen
comes up and thats all it will do. when this first started happening I could take the battery out and put it back in like 50 times and it would finally start working and it would stay working until the battery went dead now I can't get it to boot at all. any info would be great thanks

Need help - wiped bootloader - bricked grouper

Ok, I've done it again. I've gone and hard(?) bricked my grouper. While flashing the LP upgrade, I erased the bootloader without unfortunately flashing it back. Anyways, now I have a totally black screen and the device is getting detected as APX. I contacted the local Asus representatives who very unhelpfully advised me I need a new motherboard despite my explaining to them it's just the bootloader that needs fixing via JTAG (I hope?)
Anyways, if anyone knows how to fix this, please do share. In case you don't know how to fix it, I'd appreciate if someone would point me in the right direction of who/where can help me get it fixed. I'd be very grateful. TIA!
Anyone? If you can't post something publicly because it's against forum rules/regulations, PM me please... I need to get this thing fixed. Thank you!

I also happened to screw my Android many times. I even uninstalled the whole OS, and my zenfone 5 rendered useless for a couple of days until I got an solution. But I couldn't understand what you mean by a DEAD partition, could you please give more detail about it, maybe even some screenshots?

I'm having this issue(PFA). Any solutions ?
Mine is almost similar problem too, only i get the error failed to mount /system
Same issue here. Please let me know if you find the answer.
Yes same issue here!
did someone find a solution?
Have you tried Factory resetting? or even installing a custom rom?
I see you dont have a custom recovery installed so I'm guessing you're trying to install a STOCK rom?
If not flash a custom rom with custom recovery and see if it helps.

Huawei P8 completely dead

Hi, first, sorry for my english, is not perfect.
Days ago i was trying to fix the network problem on my Huawei, and some audio problems too, Mixer paths and some issues. About the network issue, i flashed an zip that supposedly could fix the problem. In this case, I was not completely sure so i made a backup of all on TWRP of course... But surprise, when it finished i pressed reboot system and thats all. The phone died. There is no answer to charge, no answer to PC, no vibration, no led, no screen boot, logos, nothing.
I will leave the link of the zip here if somebody with more knowledge can take a look and help, thanks...

At the very least you have overwritten the kernal and the modem partitions but its anybodys guess where the patches were ACTUALLY written to, considering the Zip is meant for a Galaxy S3 !!
What were you thinking of when you thought that this could fix anything on a Huawei ?

It was a desperate attempt to fix the mobile network, a thing that a real need, and the video of the zip supposedly could fix it, and doesnt say that was only for S3, but, even so i made the backup of everything for that reason, because i dont know what im really flashing.

A little bit of a give away is in the title of the zip file ie. ".........Galaxy+S3.......", don't you think ?
However if your phone is totally dead and not been "seen" by a PC with the appropriate drivers loaded then its back to base I'm afraid, or maybe explore here:-

I cant do anything. The phone was perfectly connected to PC with the adb-fastboot drivers, usb drivers, even Hisuite. The deal, as i said, is that the phone is completely dead.
