In stock ROM I was able to use Netflix offline, but now in any ROM Nougat I can not anymore
I already tested Slim7, LOS14.1, OCTOS and in none of them I was able to download movies and series on Netflix.

hello i installed Full Android 5.1 on Shield TV v.1.8 on my 16gb shield tv following the tutorial on

but after instaling the gaps google play service stop at boot.
i installed Gapps for CM 12.1 for 5.1 arm64 version stock

I have rooted mojo with the stock firm ware. I am trying to install Kodi 17.0 "Krypton". But it always give me the error. I downloaded the apk and try to install through ES Explore. They give me error message package not compatible. Please some one help me.
Why are you on stock firmware anyway?
Version 17 requires android 5.0 minimum. Why do you want 17 anyway?
Yes, stock MOJO is on 4.2.2 isn't it? You'd need to flash your device to CM 12.1 at this point to get Krypton. But of course, that will change again further down the road with future releases no doubt.
Maybe consider a Raspberry Pi 3 for Kodi if the latest is important to you. Otherwise I think Android generally is a bit of a pain with OS updates, and this will be an issue at some point.

I have been using the MOJO for a year (rooted W/stock and REMIX SO) Kodi 17 is not supported on Android 4.2 which is the stock MOJO rom. I was able to install Kodi once the box was moded to CM12 (android 5.x) or Remix OS.
I can't use the Netflix offline in any ROM with Android Nougat.

Hello all, I am researching this series of samsung tablets & i want to know if it would be possible to install a LineageOS + MicroG services?
I see that the device has multiple LineageOS Roms up & running already, but in particular I need MicroG..
Has anyone tested this device series with MicroG?
I do not want google on my devices, hence the questions..

I'm using los16 and I've got microg working with YouTube vanced but that's as far I've gone as I've got gapps installed too.
I've tried and failed to completely replace gapps with microg in the past but that wasn't on my tabs2.
I'd be interested to hear if you manage it though.
I have this exact combo. Tab S2 with LineageOS 16 official + microG. I didn't install GApps, but I did install the Aurora store client to get a couple paid apps from Google Play. With Magisk, I can run all the streaming services that I use (netflix, hulu, prime, disney).
1.when I downgrade my shield tv to 7.2.0 7.2.1 7.2.3 8.0.0 etc, netflix did not work and got -100 error. I try to update netflix to latest version through google play, Unfortunately no work.
2.when I downgrade my shield tv to 8.0.1, netflix is work fine, so I think netflix will detect system version to decide whether to provide netflix services.
3.do anyone have research how to ban netflix detect system version?

Netflix has always supported a minimum os version. You would need to find a hacked Netflix apk.
