[Q] cyanogenmod 11-20140708-snapshot-m8-jflte

Hello all,
I have flashed 11-20140708-snapshot-m8-jflte and I have several issues:
BT Pairing connect and disconnect.
Battery drain so fast
Most important: no sync contact book with Ms Exchange, however mail is properly sync.
Anybody could suggest me how to fix?
THANKS a lot,
C
Yeah don't use CM until they fix the releases! They keep releasing new builds with the same damn problems.

Slimkat is a good ASOP rom, but I use Echoe rom v29 or if you want S5 features go with v29.1.
Also Echoe has a Google rom as well at 4.4.4.
Hello thanks for the suggestion I will try echoe , just one question I'm not familiar with kernel what I have to do?
I mean just download the zip file of v 29.1. Go on recovery mode wipe all then flash the v 29 file ? I need to download gaps? If yeas which ver. You can recommend?
Sorry but I'm new...

Yep just go to recovery mode and flash, if you want there is a later AEL kernel 6b available as well. Gapps is not needed.

The developer said that he will make c-rom lolipop version after there is stable lolipop from cm. I had uploaded c-rom latest jflte, here is the link http://d-h.st/AEa
I am a huge fan of this:

It is slim, fast, and great on battery.

fingerprint support on custom rom

Hi everyone, i have recently grown tired of the issues i was having with Stock ROM on my 6p. Battery was terrible and cut off at 25-30% all the time
So i decided to try Lineage OS but didn't like it and then installed PureNexus which is a dream
My only issue is there are no options to set up and use the fingerprint scanner, any ideas?
Flashed the correct Vendor.img and radio.img and that fixed my issue
I had various issues every time I tried Pure Nexus but the fingerprint scanner not working was never one of them. You did a full wipe and clean install when you went from Lineage to Pure Nexus? Are you using a custom kernel or the one that comes with the Rom?
Dont forget to try Dirty Unicorns. you wont find them here. they are out of 'Dev-base' site. i left PN for DU,, weekly updates, smooth as silk, great battery.

Hello,
If you.flashed an april.2017 build, it's most likely based on N4F26U.
Find this vendor.img and flash it with fastboot or install it with TWRP.
Good luck...

Custom Rom

What's the most stable custom ROM for this phone ? Thanks in advance
You can look at the rom section and see the number of views and replies on the rom threads. The ones with the most activity will also probably have better chances at finding out bugs to be fixed. Most roms are ports from the Lineageos build which is considered to be stable. The more things that are added onto Lineage, the bigger the chances are to get more bugs.
CrDroid, rock solid stability.
I'm going to flash superior os 9 soon. I want the gaming mode! ?

I know Liquid remix and MSM xtended has that too.

best rom for zuk z2 plus according to me (after 1 year of custom roms experience)

Ok so guys I'm suggesting the most stable, bugless and sensible ROM according to me after trying tons of roms throughout a year ......
Thanks to our devs who are still providing their best to keep our device updated .... But the ROM that i think is most stable in every aspect is viper os 5.2 oreo ...... Just flash the rom with combination of bfr kernel and see the results for yourself ..... I personally don't want to use an oreo rom in the time of pie but for some reason pie roms are still not that amazing as oreo ROMs used to be .... Plus the battery backup can never be matched to oreo in pie ROMs for our device don't know why ......
So guys if you want a rom that is fast ,fluid , stable, able to play any game effortlessly just give this combo a try .... You'll be amazed .... It gives 5hrs sot very easily even with kind of heavy usage .....
Viper+bfr rocks.....
I would like to try the combo you described, can you post the link to the forum pages for the rom and kernel. Much appreciated
Here's the links .... And all the credits goes to the devs of the rom and the kernel .... I'm just an appreciater?
