I'm looking to get my hands on the cm pac then that used to come with the rom. I believe it may have been back on kit Kat or jelly bean. If anyone had it or knows where to find it, I would be greatly appreciate it.

I tried looking all over their site and over at rootzwiki and I cant get an answer. I just want to know if the latest aokp_mako_nightly_2013-07-27.zip is 4.3 or 4.2.2. Thank you.
Could be wrong but as far I know AOKP hasn't released a 4.3 rom yet.
Ok, thanks.

I am looking to get the Offiical Cyanogen Mod ROM for the Sprint galaxy s4, but it says I need "jfltespr" what is this? I am currently rooted and have a custom ROM, Sacs rom V 5.0. Here are screenshots of my "About phone"

Basically I want to get an AOSP ROM, I don't mind if it's Cyanogen Mod, I'm actually going to ask another question: What AOSP Rom would you recommend, and does it require "jfltespr" if so how do I get that? Thanks, sorry for being such a noob d:
Jfltespr is just a code name. It is the sprint Galaxy S4. it had me confused when I downloaded slimkat.

Thanks! So can I download any AOSP Rom? Or do they only work on specific firmware's? I think I have MK2, do all AOSP roms work on MK2?
I still have mf9 firmware on my phone. I haven't updated it to mk2. I haven't had any issues. I am running a dual boot of sacs custom 5.2 touchwiz and the latest slimkat aosp weekly rom.
So I guess to answer, they should be compatible either way. Maybe not with pre mf9 firmware but I can't confirm that. I haven't really found a reason yet to update to mk2 modem but I've only owned this phone for 3 days.

I took the MJA update and have the MK2 modem...and all the AOSP ROMs 4.3 and up work. I just cannot use any below 4.3

Hey there,
Is there a known way to revert back to 4.2.2 rom from the new Kit Kat update from Tmo? I want to flash the PAC Rom for this and can't because there is no TWRP or other way of a custom recovery as of yet on this update. Makes me sad. I actually am on a rooted stock rom at this point. Just no custom recovery. Thanks for any help.
You can use this guide(http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476) to downgrade to a version where custom recovery is possible and you will be able to flash pac

I know there's a way to do it but based on this thread we may be seeing a solution that allows custom recovery with 4.4.2 soon . http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2667227

I've been following the thread and the way I see it is even if the way there making recovery works we who are on kit Kat still need to use the flash tool to go to jelly bean and flash a modified kit Kat that will allow custom recoveries

True. I'm just hoping it isn't so locked down that we can't use other custom kernels. But thanks for the link, I'll be getting my G2 in two days and that info was relevant to my interests.

Well, as it turns out not so fast. I am trying to use the flash tool and am getting all sorts of errors. This is crazy I am contemplating returning this one to the Tmobile store and getting a replacement ( still inside the 14 day window. lol ) The replacement would still have 4.2.2 .. lol I hate being locked down. I die inside a little.
Does anyone know if theirs a ROM with halo not AOSPA ROM . and also does anyone know if there is a 4.3 cyanfox ROM for s4 sph-L720 I can't seem to find it if there is. Thanks
There isn't . its a AOSP ROM

HALO (the feature) was exclusive to 4.3 AOSPA.
Only a few of my later 3.9x builds had it before we moved to KK based projects.
Unless something has changed I'm not aware of it is not coming back in PA 4.x versions.
HALO))) (the app), is still available in the Play Store and I believe it does work on 4.4 versions.
As for the second question, you should be looking for jfltespr. I tied to paste the link here, but I'm not allowed. Just Google jfltespr and cyanogenmod.
Lmt Launcher is awesome

I got a S5 that is running 5.0 lollipop and i really dislike the UI and new "features" installed on it. I loved jelly bean but cannot find any 4.3 firmware for the S5 in particular. The closet I could find was http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2619113 but its for S4. Any one know of something similar for the S5? Also first post.
Bro the S5 did not come on Jelly Bean so doubt it you will find a JB rom, earliest you"ll get is 4.4.2 KK, tbh its not far off from J.B. Good luck

Better off trying to theme to JB, downgrading isn't a good idea, the UI isn't the only thing that got changed and security patches rarely if ever get backported.
