Every thread that Master can't prove something he request that it be closed?

who cares. he is a developer and works for FREE. let me ask a question:
why do so many people here dry to drive away all of our developers? Do you want a phone from samsung with crappy software that runs about as smooth as my old mytouch with 2.2?

I requested it be closed BECAUSE it was hi-jacked.

He doesn't work for free, each link in his signature goes to his donation box. Go check out his website where his donation % went from being at 90% of his goal to now its back at 5%.

actually I did not start a flame war, it appears one of the actual developers of the Sense port called you out, and that is what lead to you asking for the thread to be closed. Please get your fact straight.

He didn't develop anything to my knowledge. He didn't call me out, he stated something and I told him what I heard & he knows.
He asked everyone else to do something.
Rafy was a main developer
Like I said, please get your facts right. And quit flame baiting.

Hmmm. Didn't I say, several times.
That is the first beta that I GOT TO BOOT
The thing was dropped. If they wanted to start a new thread with there newest work, then they could of. But they didn't

Yes you did but that is where you are wrong, you were not the first person that got it to boot. Barakin was the first to have it booting on the Vibrant not you.

Well since you develop for the Vibrant, I think this is the most logical place for this thread. If the mods of this site feel it's better in another area they will move it.

I had to pm this guy in the beginning. he had his rom full of paid apps. even voodoo control plus from our well respected dev supercurio was in there and many others!
I saw that and had to do something, posted on his thread. want to know what he answered to me in pm? these guy intentions are very weerd if you asked me.
Think he could better make a theme and stay out of development section. think he's also on the wrong forum, this is no warez forum!
what was he thinking by doing that, it says allot about himself and how he thinks about not paying developers for there apps. posting in a section where those same developers have there thread! it is clear to me that he does not know what this place is all about.
it's just another summer rom from a kid.

That's really very bad. Having pirated apps in ROM shows how desperate he is for making his ROM famous
Everybody's is free to contribute their work on XDA but not like this They should always respect other developers, their hard work. I think we guys should report that thread to moderators.

I'm guessing you don't realise that "Be advised that this is a public poll: other users can see the choice(s) you selected." is actually a default message from the forum software.
A little more research next time will go a long way to avoid posting waste of time threads like this.

Still doesn't belong in the Dev section because the Dev section is used for Devving. No Devving is going to occur in a thread that links to the real post, its an information post.
If random uninformed users flash Enyo's ICS instead of JT's that's on them for not reading.
PS - Nobody gives a **** how many times you've donated to JT, it's not like its some badge of honor that people wield about as weapons. Please put your epeen away.

Its just a phase of high drama that will hopefully pass quickly.
However, when you sit back and don't get involved, it is quite entertaining. / heading to the store for more popcorn.

When people don't post garbage in threads, plenty of Devving goes on in Dev threads. Or, at least it used to. That's just one of the plethora of reasons JT no longer posts here.

I don't think you get it: Did you in any way consult with, ask permission for or notify jt in any way about posting a link to HIS work on this forum? If the answer is yes and he ok'ed it, then I apologize and I will go back to minding my own business. However, I know this is not what happened. You didn't ask his permission in any way and therefore you stepped over the line. Now, is it a really big deal, no. But, many of us are friends with jt (as much as you can be through the internet), we spend a lot of time in IRC together. So, we know his wishes regarding HIS work and we respect that. He has stated in NO way does he want any of his work posted on xda. We would rather not have jt say fu** it and stop posting builds on the forums period because his wishes aren't being considered. That would screw over a lot of people like yourself (who donate to jt) and there would be NO links at all to post, like the one you posted. The conclusion: was what you did, in itself, wrong? No. But you did not ask his permission to post HIS intellectual property on this forum, and that my friend is wrong. Did many of us sort of "attack" you for doing it? In a way yes, but you understand why. Please respect the wishes of the developers, and if you don't know there wishes....ask.

Look, it doesn't make sense and I don't believe that JT is that fake-private about posting his work. (And I didn't post or re-share his ROM, only a link to Rootzwiki.) If it's public on Rootzwiki, why is anyone to think it's not straight up ****ing public?

We will not officially support any device outside of oppo/Nexus/OnePlus and begging on here for device support is a futile effort. We will not be accepting or acknowledging any more device requests.

It is in unofficial status until we have some stability with it. There are builds here on xda until we get them official status

I'm not the moron that posted a question about a kernel that has NOTHING to do with Paranoid Android, in a thread discussing NO DEVICE REQUESTS.
My response was perfectly sane and not rude. Yours proves you have issues regarding basic comprehension and common sense.
Perhaps you should learn how to use forums and stop lashing out at people asking about your inability to understand basic concepts of human interaction.
It's kind of funny that you seem to think you know me. You don't. My son is more mature than you are.

Because it's well known, that Xiaomi are taking their time to release kernel sources, but they always delivered.
If you want a phone for development then buy something which has the kernel source already releases. Stop crying and inform yourself the next time you are buying a phone. ****posting in a forum where nobody can give you what you want doesn't help at all but annoy others

So there is a correlation here then don't you think? Between a lot of people complaining about the same thing and an existing issue.

So go and create ONE post where you all can express your feelings about how Xiaomi is a bad company, it's really tiring to see multiple posts about THE VERY SAME THING, you're all just turning this place into a mess where people want to ask legit questions and seeking for help.
Basically I feel it the same way (about Xiaomi being late with making kernel source public), but the spam really helps nobody and nobody responsible (from Xiaomi) will read this bullsh*t over and over. If you feel it that way, just be patient and keep it for yourself or whatever, just don't spam this place.

Waiting is the only thing you can do. If you have the chops, you could try to port kernel from RN4 or Mi 5x (Like some other users here have). Since Xiaomi made the promise of releasing source kernel, they will eventually come to do it.
Also, Oreo was declared to hit the phone by the year end and beta for it started fairly recently (judging by the time it takes for a beta rom to become the official stable ROM). I hope it is ready at least by this month/year end, lol.

Request mod to remove useless post.
