Hey everyone!
I'm running the Nexus Player with the 3.10.20-g43ab991 kernel and Android 7.1.1. I've bought a Micro USB to LAN adapter and it has the RD9700 chipset which is sadly not supported by default. However, I've found this post and they made a driver - unfortunately, for a very old kernel version.
Has someone this driver for newer kernels or could compile it for new kernels (unfortunately, I'm a total noob at this)?
Thanks!
I have no experience with that particular product but I can tell you that the TP-Link UE330 works with an OTG adapter cable.
Hello, I bought a Leeco Le Pro 3 X720, and I have a Hyundai car, so I tried to connect to my car to use Android Auto but it doesn't work, with the ROM stock EUI 5.9 only started to charge the cellphone, never started android auto when I connected in the car.
I searched in google and could to read that the ROM stock with MM it doesn't work with AA, so I installed Lineage OS 14.1 (Android 7.1.2), this ROM can initialize AA, but when sync it, after 5 minutes the screen is freeze, yesterday I installed AICP 12.1 with android 7.1.2 (aicp_zl1_n-12.1-NIGHTLY-20171017.zip), but I have the same issue.
I used the original leeco usb cable.
Anybody have the same issue? or anybody could fix this?
Do you know some ROM that supports AA? or some usb cable compatible?
Thank you in advance.
Sorry for my bad english.

No problem, I am still using stock Android 6.0, EUI 5.8.21s. FYI, I don't connect the cable, since my car is not compatible. Sorry to disappoint, but I use Android Auto using just the phone alone, attached to a phone mount. However, I am willing to test with a cable to verify that it works. My brother owns a 2017 compatible vehicle and I can let you know by Saturday afternoon EST.
Have you considered that your issue could be with the cable? I read that the Android Auto Team recommends several different types of cables to resolve similar issues. Such as, Anker USB-C to USB 3.0 Cable
Thank you for your response, yes I think that is the cable, actually I bought 2 cables (no Anker) but aren't working, today I will try with other cable to try fix this issue.
I'm waiting your comments.
Thank you.

Sorry for being late with getting back to you.
I tried using Android Auto with my Le Pro 3 x727 attaching it to my brothers 2017 Chevrolet Equinox. ( Also: I used a 3rd party high quality USB-c cable) and unfortunately it still did not work. However, we called the dealership and found that his Equinox will support Android Auto. But, it requires a dealer installed update ( go figure! ) Next, we were told that the update is simply updating their My-link software so it will support Android Auto.
Regarding your vehicle, I just read on the Hyundai' US website that Hyundai' also require software updates to support Android Auto...so maybe that is the resolution to solve your issue? On the other hand, If you have already updated your Hyundai software. Perhaps, you still need a better cable.
Good Luck!
Thank you very much for your response.
I will ask to Hyundai for the update the next week.
Other test that I did was change the USB cable to a Moto Z1 original cable, and Android auto worked better, sometimes I can use it at least 20 minutes, after that I have the same issue but it's an advance.
If you can do a new test with the update could be great, thank in advance for your time to response.
Other thing, my Hyundai car supports Android auto since I bought it, with my old phone (LG G2) works perfectly, that's why I think that is a issue with Le Pro 3, but an update could be help.

The fourth thread about Kali NH here under K20/Mi 9T Q&A - maybe you could find something in the old threads (like manual installation guide)
I've seen everything there but the links are broken, my friend has a oneplus 7 ta with this same problem as mine, luckily he found the 2020.2 version and solved the problem, I've been to many forums but I haven't found this version 2020.2 for davinci, i found it in a saite but it is 99.9% and not low, my last hope is here at xda.

Sorry, I didn't use external WiFi adapter (if that's the problem).
But there is also a thread under Mi 9T Pro and I know the guy there uses external card (monitoring and injection) with no problems - he manually installs NH Kali (there is no prebuilt image for Pro and he installs also to custom ROMs for his Pro)
for me to solve it will be flash 2020.2 or a kernel with injection support is to install nethunter manually the easiest way and flash 2020.2 that solve more the links are extinct!
I am thinking about buying a used V20 for hi-res audio since it has quad DAC. With all the variants out there, which one should I be looking for that will have the least issues with unlocking bootloaders, TWRP, custom ROM etc?
I have seen conversion posts from variants to variants, and is quite confusing when I am shopping.
Any help would be great.
I researched the same question for the exact same purpose, and decided on the US996 USA version. It was pretty painless to unlock and root the same day I recieved it last week.
If you buy one feel free to pm for tips since I just recently went through it.
Now I'm on LineageOS 18.1 with V4A and DD+ working perfectly.
I took a chance and bought a refurb US996 at Amazon, later I found the seller is from China and I hope everything will be at described.
All kinds of things can happen to phones bought from China but at least I can file A to Z if something is weird.
Good luck! It can go either way, but typically I've had good luck. I'll pm you some tips so you don't have to fight with it as much as I had to.

Sorry to hijack the thread op.
Which version of DD+ did you use and do you know if it will work on lineage 18.1?
I also have stock pie device as well as 18.1 device.
I just searched for dd+ and used the one with the newest date. I can't remember the name and I renamed it on my sdcard so I can't direct you but you'll see it. I think I searched for dolby digital A11
DD+ is not stableon 18.1 without selinux on permissive so again I searched and found a link to SELinuxModeChanger
Hi guys,
I have an androod tv box which has android 9
It's already rooted by the manufacture and the bootloader obviously unlocked
So, i think my only problem is that my device doesn't have a MicroUSB/Type-C port
It has a Usb3 and a Usb2 port
Even if i am able to install a custom how should i connect through ADB? Without a micro or type-c port
I read another forum on XDA and it looks like i shoukd know the board manufacture, the chipset and so many things but i don't want to open it up i just want a better rom on my android box brcause it's a bit bloated by the manufacture and it annoys me that i can't install good launchers for some reason i tried many launvhers but they never work
I only got AndroidTV Launcher running which too simole and doesn't have many features
