Hi all, I had do a full wipe of my S7 edge SM-G935F because I sent in a repair shop to replace the display(pink line on screen).
I took advantage to have a full wipe and flash latest firmware via Odin. Before and after this is slow and not reactive sometimes. Few months ago I found a post around the forum with a list of 3/4 app need to disable via Package Disabler after uninstallation of updates and my phone started like a rocket: very fast and smooth.
I don't remember which are these apps.
Is someone know what to do?
Thank you in advance.
Short answer would be to choose the "Disable All Bloatware" option in Package Disabler.

But, what doesn't make sense, is the fact that your S7 can't run and is unresponsive with a fresh OS load.
Yes, they run better with all the junk disabled, but you should still be able to use it normally without having to disable stuff first.

And for what apps are safe to disable, search the forums. There are a ton of threads.

Hi all,
This will be one of my first contributions to (XDA).
I'd like to start of by adding a little - probably already known fact about my S5.
After I rooted it using using (ODIN v3.09) and the SMG file I had noticed after quickly browsing through
everything that when I decided to try a normal (default) update I had no success.
I have attached a screen shot of the prompt a had received.

A work around to this issue was found by accident when I tried a previous program called "SnapPea".
http://www.snappea.com/
I was using SnapPea as an alternative to Kies etc. It's free and I have had no issue thus far.
It worked well with my old S2 and is working just as well with my S5.
NOTE: you may find a "ADB Debugging Deamon" conflict if you are running any other clients in relation to Mobile Phone editing
but these can be ignored without major concern as I have found due to running MOBILedit.
For the basic Mobile editing i.e. contacts, pictures, install and uninstall and of course the option of updating your s5 G990i!
I would highly recommend it.

hello, first srz 4 bad Englisch guys.
I've debloated my Rom (Alliance rom 5.0.1). Now my Shealth has no. blood Pressr/Spo2... (only zhe UV is avaible) options only the data options but nothing to use with Sensor. (actually shealth4. 7+shealth service2.x installed)
Anyone knows which app is for the Spo2/blood pressure that i can use it over the Sensor? I've think. i've deleted :/ ( i wont setup my rom again because of shealth......)
Best app will be to use S Health, as far as I know. You're using a Samsung dedicated hardware sensor for it, why not use the software too?
Attached is the bloody oxygen option. Some debloated ROMs provide the S Health app and its all options as a flashable zip, see if you can find one.

I use S Health, the Problem is i cannot measure blood/spo2......blood i can only "record" data manually but not measure and SpO2 is not avaible...... As i said i think i deleted the Apps that S healt need for blood/spo2..... UV works great
So I went to setup Android Pay and got this message:

}
I wiped Android Pay's app data and same results. So I ran a SafetyNet test and it failed.
I'm obviously not rooted or bootloader unlocked. I remember it working before. Any ideas why it won't? Anybody else on G935TUVU2APC have this issue? I'm hoping I don't have to wipe my device via Odin and start over...
EDIT: PROBLEM SOLVED. APPARENTLY USING THE CONDENSED DPI OPTION BREAKS IT. SWITCHING BACK TO STANDARD VIEW FIXES IT.

Did you happen to change your dpi?
Just through the Samsung hidden settings. Could that be it?

Wow, thanks, that was it. Lmao sucks but I guess if I use Android Pay I'll revert to the standard DPI. Good to know.

I've tested the storage performance the my phone but I've notice something. When I'm compared the other s7 edges it's shows realy bad performance. Not just s7 edge I have s6 and gives better performance than my s7 edge. S6 is finishing faster the test almost two minutes before to s7 edge. Why is that? Look at the camcorder performance and sequentiel write. Really huge different than standard s7 edge. My phone generally lagging and games are performance isn't good, because of this?

Do you have any tweaks enabled if so what apps are you using? Assuming you have root.
No, I don't have root but I just use Package disabler pro and Greenify. I don't know, are these tweaks? By the way my problem's video.

Hi guys,
I have a fresh S7 SM-G930V(Android 6.0.1). Which i logged in via google and it downloaded all my previous apps on my old phone(i assume it automatically does)
I was following https://forum.xda-developers.com/ve...-to-notes-root-install-xposed-unroot-t3411039.
And now my keyboard is now starting to look weird

}
I completed all the steps and rooted to the following image "Samsung_G930x_QC_Rooted_BOOT.TAR (any Samsung Galaxy S7) (MD5 hash 948A01ECCF280828DFD13AC366F6FE85)"
and used Odin3_v3.12_PrinceComsy.zip as opposed to the other odin.
Any ideas besides using another keyboard app?
EDIT: Just flashed back to G930VVRU4API3, which i thought was my stock rom but has a purpleish first time start up which i thought should be blueish?
Going to try and re-flash a root after work again.
UPDATE2: I Follow the rooting/xposed steps again and now i got my normal keyboard back. The difference is that the verizon startup is white/red while when i first ever used the phone it was a blueish/purple verizon start up. But i feel that it was definitely 6.0.1 with PI3.
Accessing the phone via cable seems extremely slow but thats for another thread...
I am now rooted with a working keyboard, now time to work on the other issues....
