Yesterday EZ Disabled Stopped working for no apparent reason. The error I get is "activating app license failed!"
I uninstalled & reinstalled but it still fails.
Any ideas?

I didn't even get the notification of an update and now I can't install /uninstall sideloaded apps. Apps that are installed through the Amazon app store are perfectly fine however. Can someone please confirm this change?

I'm all updated and can still sideload apps. Please confirm whether Settings / Applications / Apps from Unknown Sources is still set to "On". If not, re-enable. If so, we'll need some more details about which update you're on and what you're trying to do in order to be helpful.

Software version:13.3.2.2
Apps from unknown sources is ON
last update: April 1st
WTF
I first noticed something was wrong when f-droid would crash every time I would attempt to install an app from there. After that I tried installing from ES-file manager and when I tap on the apk it says "sorry, no application available".

Anyone have a solution yet? I'm still dealing with robots problem even though my kindle recently updated.
I'm thinking a fake update for the package installer somehow got through. (Not sure how though) here's a screenshot of the settings page.

Anyone having problems using apps that are installed with an app? Mine immediately close and says the app stopped working. This is on the developer edition.

That's what I was talking about.. Those added programs. One of them could be causing your device issues.. Perhaps troubleshoot them to see if one of them is indeed causing it.
I disabled the xposed modules and uninstalled xposed. Still doesn't work. I'm going to try with a different apk
I can't login and I've done research and it says they won't let me login since I'm rooted...I've tried using RootCloak but that doesn't work...anybody have a work around?

If you're using xposed, flash the xposed Uninstaller. Reboot. Login to snapchat. Then install xposed.

If you are rooted you can try installing from play store.

Thanks for getting back to me. I was hoping to manage it by not rooting but it might have to come to that by the looks of things

Maybe you can try this google installer, worked for me when i was not rooted.
Is in Chinese but works.
Thanks for that but eventually got it working, I was on the dev rom but when I flashed a stable one I could install the G apps without any problems.
It's now working a treat, very snappy!
My only issue now is how to disable some of the xiaomi apps without rooting
Cheers

Hello,There's a guy on youtube using adb to delete system files, you can also restore them if you need to. Look here ; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3VQSjKQkh7U
Thanks for that, I'll have a look and see if I can use it

Dear all. I really wounder why the default applock function is not included in Nougat. I tried to enable it with flashing a csc. The applock menu appeared but it force closed when i tried to open it. Anyone have an idea how to get applock work on Nougat.?
Ps: i installed some applock apps from playstore but didn't like them so i prefer the default app/function.
Thank you all in advance!

You probably need to be rooted to place the applock.apk in /system. Or perhaps it is not available with Nougat?

First of all thanks for your reply. I am on a rooted rom. As i mentioned above in my first post, with replacing the csc files i am able to see the applock function in settings and also the related *.apk for it is automatically placed in the system folder.
I also can't find anything in google about this. [emoji53]

Probably doesn't work on Nougat then bro. I asked about AppLock in the beta and they should they would see about adding this for everyone. That hasn't occurred lol
