To clarify. You can root PL6. BUT mobile data and/or voice and texting will not work.

How would I root my Sprint Samsung GS4 without a computer?
It is running 4.4.2 and software version is L720VPUFNG2
Model number is SPH-L720

You can't. You need the pc for Odin. Chainfires One Click auto Root is really the only way

You were able to before with towel root. Idk if that works with the newer updates.

yes, if you are on android 5 you have to downgrade to 4.4 and root will be easy.
I dont know if there is another way for g900v

There is not now, nor is there likely ever going to be a way to root BOG5.

Wrong! You cannot downgrade from the BOG5 build.

Is root still available for base number QL1 on galaxy s8? I'd like to root. Didn't know If that firmware was too far.thank you

There are no firmwares that are not rootable as of now. You can't root a snapdragon and run Oreo, but even if you are it is still possible to downfrade to nougat and root

I am on QL1 and can't get root...
I am running through the method in the S8 Root (Snapdragon) | SamPWND thread using the firmware posted. I am going to post in that thread for more details and will see what is said.

Thank you, the tutorial you linked worked and my phone is now rooted. Do you have a list of bloatware that is okay to remove, as in, can I remove beaming service?
