Edit: N900v, plural. My mistake in the title.
Trying to get through till the S8 comes out, but I cannot get these phones to work at all. I used ODIN to bring them to factory settings, still no cell service at all. I have tried a couple Verizon sims, no joy.
I ordered the little wire antenna and replaced it in both phones, still no signal at all.
Any suggestions?

Verizon uses a CDMA Network.
N900S is a GSM only device. Theoretically, it can only work on AT&T or T-Mobile networks.
OP this is not the Verizon forum .

I was under the impression that this was a general note 3 forum, since I had assumed this was a hardware issue I thought this would be the place to ask.

This one goes specially to german t-mob users. Is the device the t-mobile version or the D802 version?
T-Mobile US is a different beast than European phones usually. Probably not.

Thank U for replying...but this does'n answer my question.
T-Mobile US LTE bands and some of its legacy 3g AWS bands are incompatible with EU bands. Including German and other T-Mobile.

I can't give a definitive answer because some phones offer both T-Mobile US and European bands. Though since that's rare with LTE, that's probably not the case here.

Hello!!
Okay So I am going to apologize now.... Im not a complete noob.... but apparently enough so that I cant get this to work.... Ive read enough post *going on two weeks worth* and talked to sprint... I know its do able, But I cant figure out what/how to make it work!
I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 Sprint version sph l720t It has a sim card slot, Ive read post about people actually unlocking the phone and using different domestic SIMS.... but When I try to find the steps to do so i get this mish mash mess of different things nothing coherent..... one site says flash a diferent modem (but doesnt say wich one or where to get it) another says edit the build.prop file to access the hiden menus?!?
Can someone please help me!
It is NOT possible right now on the triband model. Only the regular GS4. Because you need to downgrade modem to MDC which is only available for the regular GS4 and will not flash on the Triband version.

Are ALL on the regular Sprint GS4. About 90% of the users on this forum have the regular phone. Sprint can unlock international but not domestic. And for sprint to.unlock the phone you have to have sprint service in good standing for at least 90 days.

I believe that the phones have different hardware in them (mostly for the T to support Spark).
I have read where other people have tried, but ended up soft bricking phones.

I don't think it is that much different since triband models are able to run Regular gs4 Roms with almost no issues.

So do you have any ideas? Im skilled with making most phones work. But im stumped on this one. Whats the difference? Spring has the SIM/GSM option.... I was at a spring store today, they said spring can and will unlock for domestic use.... just have to have it active on their service with 60days use.... OR I could unlock myself...... what are we missing?

It's a trade off.... Sprints network or T-Mobile's slow update cycle.. I'll stick with TM on this one.
Galaxy s5 just got 6.0 and it's older then the note 4.. Again note 4 get's the back seat to a older model phone....
Can someone give a possible explanation, why S5 got update earlier than Note 4!!! I just can't think of any possible scenario!!! This is disrespect!!!

But look at total sales, especially globally. The note is a footnote in the story of the s series. A fantastic device, yes, but not Sammys bread and butter.

I'm glad to see sales skyrocketing with the note 5 in the us (at least it seems like it - I know a lot more note owners than I did a year ago) but leaving Europe out and releasing a plus sized S line device means the Note is not a priority for them.

OS are the same the only things that are not the same are the radios and the system structure.. other then that there the same... same lollipop 5.1 i own both note 4 and s5
The S pen is a lot heavier than you're giving credit for. They bake that into the OS. So it takes longer. Add into the fact that the Note line isn't their main flagship. Thus you wait longer.

A lot of people brag up T-Mobile due to the bootloader, yet leave out the fact of no updates. I hope Google adds them to their shame list.

I've already hit up @MikeChannon for a Sprint specific forum....between the unlocked/att/tmo/vzw & sprint models, only the sprint model will have a different ROM.
Sprint users, speak up
*edit*
as it stands, it's a wait & see game to see if the forums blow up after release...as for now, there has only been a Sprint Development sub-forum added
my suggestion for sprint users is if u start a new thread start w/ [Sprint] at the beginning of the thread title or at least have Sprint in the title somewhere. If there's enough Sprint specific threads, they may create a Sprint specific forum

Got tired of much slower updates and SERO stopped being a good value when compared to TMOUS $30 prepaid and Project Fi.

Can't rely on chat reps for correct info. Sprint is the only major carrier not supported by the US Unlocked U11.

I believe the modem/radio is slightly different as the Tmobile version does not support all "bands" of the ATT network. Past that a more experienced member will have to give you better details.
