Now the phone only boots on fastboot, I can't enable the developer options and I don't know how to recover my new phone.

3. Download the rom provided, and unpackage the .rar file to the minimaladb installation location usually found in programfilesx86/minimaladb
4.boot the phone into fastboot by holding power and volume down at the same time and connect to the pc
5.double click the flashall file and a command prompt will open and continue to flash the phone takes between 5/10 mins Do Not remove the phone during this process.
6.after installation remove the phone from the pc and boot the phone it will take awhile to boot the first time so bear with it you should see that you have a new boot animation (The hello moto).

I'm having bad luck. My G4 bike apparently ran out of battery because it does not turn on and the white led flashes 4 times and goes off. I connected the original charger but it still does not turn on. If I connect it to the computer, it recognizes it as fastboot mode but nothing appears on the phone display.
I think the battery has completley drain to 0% Try to just leave the phone plugged into the charger for at least 10/15 mins then try holding power for 30 seconds. If it turns on, and you boot it into fastboot when you connect the phone to the pc start the command prompt and type adb devices if it shows a device connected then try to flash the rom. If it doesnt flash then Im not sure what the problem is its either a hardware error or the battery charger have you tried a different charger plug/wire. Could also try to Press and hold the Volume Up and Power button for 10-20 seconds whilst the phone is plugged into the charger?
No, the battery is okay. Last night I left the phone off to continue today and this morning appeared so. I supposed it was that the battery had run out, but I just checked it with a tester and it's charged. Since last night until today not install or probe anything, I had hopes of doing the tests that you told me today, but the phone is worse than before. When I connect the phone to the pc, the "safely remove hardware" system tray appears as "Eject fastboot S".
So did you try typing adb devices in command prompt when you plugged it into the pc

No, I didn't. My G4 is totally dead and when I plug it to the charger, a white led starts blinking. I let the phone charging about a day, but nothing changes.
If I connect the phone to my PC, nothing happen, It don't recognice the phone.
Really I never again buy back a motorola again.
How long you had the phone it may still be under warranty?

The phone was bought in October in the USA, but now it is in Argentina. I have no warranty here, I would have to try to take it to the technical service.
If you have proof of purchase (receipt) it may be covered under manufacturers waranty as its usually 12months from the date of purchase, i would contact motorola to see if they can do anything for you. Best of luck.
same issue
Did you find the solution for that

[FYI: I don't a thing about tech stuff, but I can follow directions well enough if they're spelled out for me.]
I rooted my KF the day I got it using KF Utility. I don't remember what I did, and I certainly didn't understand much of it; I just followed the steps. That was several months ago (in December), and I haven't messed around with anything since. Everything worked fine, no problems. Haven't made any significant changes in months.
Then today, I tried to turn it on; the power light went on and the words "kindle fire" flashed for a second -- and then both disappeared. I connected it to a charger, and the same thing happened -- both, even the power light, disappeared after a second.
Same thing happens when I tried to connect it to my computer -- and my computer won't even recognize that it's there.
[It's now been connected to a wall charge for several hours, but the power light's not even glowing.]
What do I do? Is it "bricked"? And if so, how do I "unbrick" it, especially if my computer can't even recognize it?
Thank you in advance!

If you have the FIREFIREFIRE logo I hope this will help.
1. Make sure you still have the driver installed for you KF from KindleFireUtitly.
2. Open command prompt
3. change directory
cd C:\KindleADB
4. Check and see if adb services are running
adb devices
It will not come back with any device running and that is ok.
5. Look in the KINDLEFIREUTITLY folder for a bat file named Run.bat
double click and hit run and it will open a red command prompt.
After it has ran just a few short seconds it will give you a few number prompts. Chose number 5. and reboot Kindle and it will reinstall TWRP for you. These steps will also help if you ever get stuck in FIREFIREFIRE logo again.
I really hope this helps.

Well, like I said, I don't know much about any of this stuff, but here's what I can tell you:
I don't have FIREFIREFIRE. Not really sure what that is, but it's certainly never been on my Kindle.
What I did try doing was following those steps in Kindle Fire Utility anyway. I can get it to the point where it says:
ADB Status: Online
ADB Rooted: No
Boot Status Unknown
If from there I hit 5 (to "install latets TWRP recovery"), I get a whole bunch of
"The system cannot find the path specified." for each step it goes through, until finally it gets here:
"If we get stuck here a long time, check the ADB drivers in windows.
Fastboot uses a different device than ADB, so make sure it is installed as an
ADB device. If you see "kindle" in device manager, you need to install the
drivers. You can also try running install_drivers.bat in the drivers folder.
Do NOT unplug the kindle if we are stuck here, leave it plugged in and on.
Do NOT touch the kindle at all if we are stuck.
Setting Normal Bootmode.
Please wait..."
To reiterate again -- I don't know what any of this ADB stuff is, where to find it, etc.
We are in the same boat. Was messing around w/ someone's Bare Bones CM7, and as per instructions, clicked wipe SYSTEM, and since then my device has been with screen "on" but black; non response to power button weather plugged on AC adapter or USB. Will have to research the forums tomorrow (cant find search function now) and let you know if I find a fix and please do the same if you find something first.
Sincerely,
-RM

Actually --- I've just resolved the issue.
I had it plugged into the computer (still unresponsive), held down the power button for about 25 seconds, heard the computer do the "tuh-rup" sound, prayed, could finally stop seeing the "black screen" while on, it was pure black due to it powering off. After it was off, I powered back up and was able to get back into TWRP. Restored, did not wipe system and presto... hopefully you can get yours fixed.

My device has the same issue, it powers down as soon as I connect it to a PC or charger. The interesting thing, that it is charging, but the led is dark. When I take it off the charger the next day, it boots up and fully charged. (when I connect a cable again it shuts down immediately)
If you find out something I would be also interester. (I've also rooted before 6.2, than I've lost root, than after I while I've faced these issues)
Alright, unless any folks have any other advice, I'm gonna go ahead and contact Amazon for a return.
try to charge it with the wall charger for some hours - check the charger - should have ~1.8A - maybe the orange light is showing up after half an hour
try to power it off by holding pwr ~20sec to allow better charging - if you can't let it on the charger - try to power it off later (eg after an hour)
look here about charger spec and contact problems:

So my girlfriend was using her Google Nexus 7 2012 of 32gb only Wi-Fi triying to play the EA game "The Simpsons: Springfield" while the tablet was charging and when the game loaded it was running slowly till it frozen and then she tried to see all apps open with the 3rd button, she could pull down and see the notification drawer, then she push the 3rd button (that one on the right) but the tablet didn´t respond, instead it will just pull back the notification drawer, then the tablet started to show a notification in the middle of the screen that said "the system process is not responding" (We don´t have screenshots from this notification, that´s what she remember's and I am translating into English from the Spanish she saw) with 2 options, "wait" and "close", she pressed "close" and then it showed another notification saying "the user interface is not responding" (We don´t have screenshots from this notification, that´s what she remember's and I am translating into English from the Spanish she saw) with 2 options, "wait" and "close", she pressed "close" and I am pretty d#%n sure that it was in that moment when it got f$#%&d. Then she left it alone for like 10 minuts but it didn´t do anything, so she attempted to restart it by pressing "power + volume down" buttons together for 10 seconds and when she let the buttons go, that´s when she realized it was gone all wrong, what she saw was this "Android Robot with his belly opened with a lot of words on the down - left of the screen which ended up with look state - unlocked, it also had two arrows on the right-top of the screen, one pointing up and one pointing down, there was also on the top of the screen a red arrow with black background and inside that red arrow had written RECOVERY MODE" then she used the arrows on the right to move what was written on the red arrow, there was at least 3 options, she remember´s the first which was "RECOVERY MODE" and the second that was "POWER OFF" she is also pretty sure that it was a 3rd option but so far she doesn't remember. So she chosen power off with the power button and the tablet powered off automatically and she waited to see the tablet charging but it never appeared, later on, she tried to turn it on, it won't happen.
So now the tablet is totally dead and the only sign of life i have seen is that sound when i plug in the tablet into my pc or her laptop and press the power button, that sound that minds that a device has been mounted and the same sound when i unplug it from the pc or laptop. I have no idea of what should I do with her, my best hope is that I found a genius here patient enough to help me out with this peace of technology. :crying:
Connect to Nexus Root Kit and try to flash stock ROM. There is option for non bootable devices
Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk
Which Nexus Root Kit?
I only found here the Wugs Nexus Root Toolkit, I already installed the Wugs Nexus Root Toolkit v2.1.6 but I couldn't find the proper way to use it for a non bootable device.
Am I using the correct Nexus Root Kit?
If yes, please tell me: where can i find a step by step guide to solve the problem?
If nope, where can i find the correct Nexus Root Kit with a step by step guide?
Thank's so much in advance for your help, I already tried with the Wugs Nexus Root Toolkit v2.1.6 to flash stock ROM but as the tablet is dead, I couldn't boot it to bootloader, obviously I couldn't either turn the tablet on to allow usb debugging, for all matters, the toolkit need's adb connection to work, and I couldn't find the way to start an adb connection.
Make sure the tablet is not stuck in APX mode. To get out of this: connect the tablet for some time (at least for about 1 hour) to the charger then press for about >=20 sec the power button *only*. Release the button. If the tables was stuck in APX mode, now it should have exited that mode. Now you should be able to boot to bootloader / recovery / system. If this does not work, I suppose your tablet is bricked ...
Its correct NRT. First step is to download correct drivers and make sure it passes full driver test and adb and fastboot work. If that's the case then everything can be flashed (bootloader, recovery and ROM). Here is link to a manual process that shows steps but NRT does it automatically. Look at flashall script
http://www.laptopmag.com/articles/how-to-hard-reset-a-bricked-nexus-7-with-your-pc
Also try connecting to charger, keep it charging for 30 min or so and then try power button

Thank's!
Thank's to much for your glorious help!
I tried connecting to a charger about an hour and half and then power button, nothing happened, in approximately 24 housr from now I will follow the step by step guide to unbrick the tablet, thank's for the link, I hope it work's, I let you know later on.
If your device is really bricked, there is no change for reviving it, sorry.
Try installing just adb/fastboot (adb-setup-1.4.3.exe) from https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0MKgCbUM0itNVB1elljU2NPR0k After installing open cmd window as admin, go to c:\adb and see if "fastboot devices" returns anything. If yes, then download recovery TWRP image (twrp-3.0.2-0-grouper.img) to same folder and type "fastboot boot twrp-3.0.2-0-grouper.img". If recovery comes up then you have options to flash some ROM. To permanently install recovery "fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.0.2-0-grouper.img" Boot loader can be flashed in the same cmd window, If it worked then reboot into bootloader with fastboot.
Why is everyone giving him advice on unbricking when he can't even power on the tablet.
Yeah, you can use ADB to fix a tablet that won't power on so the computer can even load a driver for it. LOL
<sarcasm>
Look, the Nexus 7 has random charging issues especially when it gets drained down to zero battery.
I deal with it on mine sometimes.
Not saying this is your problem, but since you can't even power the device on, it's the first thing I'd look at.
Gotta pop the back cover and reseat the battery connector.
Then try charging again for a couple hours.
Ugh, I've got to do it to mine right now too.
For the third time since I've owned it.

my problem is kind of abnormal. i couldnt find solution anywhere so i came here. my device was zenfone 5(t00f)/lollipop.
so i wanted to root my phone. i followed this guide >>
HTML:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone-5/general/zenfonetoolkit3-24-40-87-t3406557
the tool i used is called ZenfoneToolkit_20160719, downloaded from here
HTML:
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B0AFmAAcGS5xbWpTQzBQVTN3b1k
. its a bundle of .exe, .dll, .img, .bin files. but no need to work on them seperately, there is a simple cli tool from which you can choose what you want to do and it executes that file for you. below is the list what you can do.
1. Wipe Cache
2. Factory Reset
3. Flash Boot
4. Flash Recovery
5. Flash Fastboot
6. Flash Stock ROM
7. Root
8. Unroot
9. Unlock Bootloader
10. Relock Bootloader
11. Zenfone Rescue aka Debrick
12. Fixing Generic IMEI 004999010640000
13. Backup MicroSD
14. Flash Boretz Kernel Lollipop
so wiped cache[1] first then i tried to root[7]. sadly it didnt work, when i turned the phone on it took me to fastboot screen, there i had only a few options like, normal boot(doesnt happen), recovery mode, restart. when i turned it off and pressed power and volume up together it would go to recovery where none of the options works. i though that was what called brick, so followed this guide to make my life better
HTML:
http://zenfone-blog.blogspot.com/2015/06/guide-how-to-unbrick-asus-zenfone-4-5-6.html
.
my phone by default came with kitkat. so when i downloaded the firmware i wanted to get a kitkat. but i couldnt find a matching recovery img and firmware for kitkat on asus official page. so i downloaded jellybean. ASUS ZenFone 5(T00F/T00J) software Image: V1.18.40.9 ww for firmware from here
HTML:
https://www.asus.com/support/Download/39/1/0/2/96nqlxHp1VKV4Rdz/32/
. and recovery img is 1.18.40.9_ww_recovery.img from here
HTML:
https://www.asuswebstorage.com/navigate/s/644D9E0A19714899974C75FC4B6C87EDY
. i dont know what "ww" means in those name but i saw it in my software version before so i went with it.
All the steps went smoothly, by the end of it i guessed my phone charge would be low so i put it in charge and turned it on. first time it turn on without a problem. i checked out a few things and leave it for charge. after a while i came back and battery was 0%. i thought i would be wise to plug out and in charging port again. as soon as i pull out the pin, screen instantly turned black and the phone went dead after a looooong ass vibration.
now when i try to charge the orenge light at top lights up but the animation that shows battery always show its empty. if i try to turn it on while plugged, it shows asus logo/intel logo and goes dead again. if i try to turn it on without being plugged, it shows a battery logo with a question mark, which i think means the phone cannot find battery.
i am stuck here.... plz someone be my savior.
Hello my dear, to get out of this problem I did the following: I connected the phone to compuador by USB cable (with himself off), then he calls and gets the question symbol, it held the power button plus volume up he must restart to get the logo asus about 4 seconds after loose the power button and continue with the volume button up insured. It should enter into fastboot mode there do the necessary procedures to reflash the system.
I hope you helped, hug!

Hey guys i really need your help, i decided to unlock the bootloader of my phone, and so i did without any issue, the phone opened and worked completly, so i wanted to relock it and so i did also without any issue, but i wanted root again so i tried to unlock it again with the same Code with the official unlocking way, but this time the phone have been stuck and red led notification blinking everytime i put in on computer.
If i plug off the power source and try to open the device the red light blink very fast and there is a charging symbol on the screen but then dissapers instantly and nothing the phone turning off.
I cannot enter on recovery or dload, anyone knows what to do? The PC cant recognize the phone if i plug it.

Huawei is one of the worst companies i ever saw! Their phones are so easy to brick and they can't be fixed!
Wait until the battery drained and phone shutdown, connect charger again and wait for 5 minutes , it will turn on in erecovery , shutdown and redo fastboot etc carefully.

Huawei devices aren't easy to brick, but recovering the devices is a pain... I hard bricked my device as well a couple weeks ago..
I have tried to wait for the battery drained completly and if you plug the usb while the phone is off the phone is powering on automatically and stays to the "Your Device has been unlocked"
Also with the same method before i plug in the usb i was trying to hold the volume down button and plug it in but it didnt happend it is booting on the same thing.

pls clear actual screen position of ur fone, unlock screen titled as fastboot and rescue or yellow text with black background.
chances are there u get fastboot connection by turning off mobile by power button hold for 7 seconds and phone turned off wait for a while ensure no USB cable connected to phone. then press volume down button and conect USB cable, you will see fast boot and rescue screen. now issue command fastboot devices. if u see ur devices serial number there then follow further fasboot procedure mentioned in other threads,
Fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash system.img
above files may be obtained by extracting update.app for ur phone stock image by huawei extractor. you have to work for 2 days constantly for unbricking phone. I have gone through all these processes last week.

Hi, I have a similar problem: "your device has been unlocked and can't be trusted". I cannot enter fastboot nor with the two buttons method (power + volume down) or the three buttons method. I messed up with the EMUI, I guess. Infact, I unlocked the bootloader, relocked it and tried to unlock it again to flash a custom ROM. The first time I unlocked the bootloader, I tried to install TWRP but something went bad, I do not remember what, but I decided to relock.
Now I am stuck with this message. But....sometimes, I can't understand WHEN, I can enter my phone Last time it was when I tried the above solution (only volume down and usb cable, without the Power button). When the phone turned on, HiSuite recognized "a phone" was connected because the software turned on, but it couldn't really see it. I went into the Developer Options on the phone to turn on OEM, but it was grey and I could do nothing :crying:
Full of hope because the phone turned on, I then tried to flash the content of the SD Card (where I put files extracted with the Huawei Update Extractor) by holding the three buttons (power + volume up + volume down), but again it appeared the "your device has been unlocked" message.
Now the phone is off. Once, in the meantime, it appeared a red flash on the screen for one second, I am not sure it is related to the battery, it doesn't display a battery but only a flash.
I cannot enter fastboot in any way, I cannot flash from SD card, sure I cannot rollback because it implies flashing.
My only hope is some command to be given when I can enter the phone. Anyway, I sent it to repair (not official, I have obviously no guarantee anymore) and they sent it back to me: they didn't know what to do.
Any idea? Thanks a lot!
PS: I will read your replies as soon as I can but I have very variable ad unstable working hours!

Here some video to check the issue, please turn on the subtitles because im speaking Greek https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oTkx0ifNhg4

Huawei is one of the worst companies i ever saw! Their phones are so easy to brick and they can't be fixed!

I think the red light blinks cause you are critically low on power. Leave it plugged in. Ignore whats on the screen just leave it plugged in for a few hours and leave it alone.

Same here with a BLN-L21 (Honor 6x)
The phone will not charge with this method. Try to let it plug one night, and no charge !
@Meticulus this was the question felix ask you: is uboot (booting with sdcard) is possible ?
Fixed for me with buy an honor 9 ... but investigate to revive my honor 6x.
For now i have maybe found how to shutdown phone, to charge battery (with shurtcut two point in motherboard) but don't know if phone charge for the moment because there is no light
Solution for the moment but difficult AND / OR expensive ....
1. Remove emmc and repair it with a JTAG box.
2. Try to boot with uboot (but probably won't work)

Hello, can ask you some question about how you have hardbricked this phone ?
My honor 6x is same bricked, and red light too. So the big question is THE FIRSTIME BRICK = phone was FREEZE can't reboot and can't do nothing. I have wait for empty battery, and now dload and all is not working ?
I will try to charge my battery out of phone. For me it's like the phone never charge ... but i will try with a charged battery and plug unplug battery connector. It's like red screen low battery change boot mode ...

Its not actually mine and it was long time ago, but the owner told me that he unlocked bootloader with the official way, relocked, and then he unlocked again the third time the phone died.
Hello.
me too, he does not want to do anything anymore.
he only knows this '' your device is booting now '' screen with the red LED flashing.
whatever I do, it always starts on this screen. I think you have to change the motherboard.
Do you know where to find it at a reasonable price?

I fixed mine today. I just had to wait for 5 hours for the battery to drain. then when it shuts off i waited 10 min. after that i started the phone and i let me choose to continue to the phone.
I dunno if you have the exact same problem but thats how i fixed mine.
And after that i tried factory resetting (cause bluetooth and NFC didn't work) but then it got stuck again. so i waited it out and it worked once again.
Too scared to do anything to my phone now :/

now my battery is empty but when i plug in acc cable show same screen
any fix on this as I have the same issue with huawei p9 lite - no recovery mode, no usb reckognition from pc. Just stuck on that "unsafe" prompt screen after huawei logo
Stop buying huawei phones if you are into custom roms or root. They made the phone easily brickable and they removed the bootloader unlock site due to some stores installing malware into phones. But hey, they couldn't simply do what Xiaomi is doing eh?
Hello,
Sorry I came here with such noob things but I really dont have idea of what Ive done, I rooted my Moto G4 plus and all went good, but then I noticed that I wasnt able to download certain apps because of the root so I wanted to unroot my device and I ended up in twrp recovery wiping my system and had no clue of what I did until I noticed I had no OS. So then I started looking how the hell I was going to get back my OS, and when I was in the twrp UI, I pressed the power button+volume key because I wanted to get back to the recovery screen and the device turned off.
Now the phone doesnt even turn on and the white Led light blinks when I plug it in to the charger but thats the only thing the phone does now. I tried the 2+ minutes power+volume pressing with no success, could you guys please help me?
I was going to suggest the two minute volume down and power button thing but I just noticed you tried it already.

Did you hold the volume down button and then press and hold the power button, in that order, for two minutes?
You have hard bricked your device. In TWRP, you can wipe the entire system and the internal storage. I have done it and then I connected my device to the computer. Because of adb drivers, I was able to push/copy the zip file of ROM into the device and then just flashed the ROM and it worked.
Connect the device to the computer and it should hopefully recognize as "qhsusb_bulk" or "qualcommloader" or something like that in the device manager's port options (I am referring to Windows).
Similar thing happened to my device and the LED light would glow when connected to charger. My phone was recognized as qhsusb_bulk by the computer and I followed this tutorial: https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g4-plus/how-to/moto-g4-plus-hardbrick-solved-guide-t3657761
There is a youtube video too for the following tutorial in which the creator purposely bricks his device and then brings it back to life. Here is the link to his video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m2NqpY6X-X4
However, your case is different than what happened to me so it may or may not work. Anyways you can give it a shot and I would recommend watching the video first as it will give you a brief idea.
Here is what I understood how the process works (I might be wrong). While flashing image on MediaTek devices through the computer, we switch off the device, connect it to the computer and then flash image without loading the bootloader. Here, we are doing a similar sort of thing and flashing some other bootloader to our device while it's switched off. Then we boot into the new bootloader and then flash the bootloader of our device. Once you have access to the bootloader, then you can pretty much do anything.
Good luck!
