What are the default fonts available for the V20?
Are they the same as the ones on the V10 or other LG devices?
If not, will the old fonts work, or did LG change those too(I know the went off and changed the theme engine, and now hundreds of themes no longer work on the V20 or G5, and they wonder why they are losing money).
Roboto, LG SmartGothic, KindGothic, HyFriend,HyTravel and HYoyo are the stock fonts.
I flashed these fonts from the g4 and they a work also the g3 fonts work to.

Hi all
So I have an interesting aesthetics / theme question. Here's the background: I have a S5 Dev Edition phone with TWRP. My first custom ROM was Team UBs 24jun version. I really liked the look of it (especially the small fonts and icons) but thought it was a bit unstable so I then installed the unofficial CM 10jun version. That worked well but some apps said they weren't compatible with it. So today I experimented with the new UB 13jul ROM. Unfortunately that wasn't too stable so I went back to the CM one. However after I reinstalled CM it looked quite different, with much larger icons and fonts.
Now in hindsight it looks like I didn't do a complete wipe in between UB and CM the first time around so CM must have picked up the system settings including fonts and icons that UB had installed. This time around after a full wipe CM installed its own defaults, which are much bigger. [I have CM on my Nexus 5 and it looks a lot more like that]. The apps that didn't work by the way do work now.
So my question to you all is do you know what UB's settings are for fonts and icons? I would like to replicate them under CM. Is there a theme setting that contains all of UB's presets?
I should also mention I have the full version of Nova launcher which I installed on CM, and UB had it as well. If it can be changed in Nova setting somewhere please let me now.
thx
PS - I tried to post this in the dev section under UB but it didn't let me, so posted it here.

Well, the easiest thing you could do is under nova launcher settings, go to look and feel, you can change the font and icon size there. I believe it only applies to launcher settings, so it won't change any of the system fonts or sizes. For those you just go to settings, display and there's a font section there... as far as I know themed roms occasionally change the DPI of the entire system, to give everything a cohesive feeling, but there are also a lot of things that need to also be modified when you change the DPI, so exactly copying the look of a particular ROM is not quite as simple as it sounds.
Hope this helps.
DPI question solved
Hi
So I figured out the best way to set the DPI is to download texdroider from the play store. It handles it across the board for the device and everything looks great. I set my DPI to 370 btw.
Thx
Before rooting & flashing CM11, Swiftkey had the original LG emojis (which looking fairly close to the iPhone ones). However, after switching over to CM11 they have turned into the ugly Samsung emojis that look like all cartoony and are hard to differentiate. Is there any way to revert this or to install different emoji? Thanks so much.
Hello xda users!

Since I don't like the stock CM12.1 keyboard i tried to flash a samsung stock keyboard with cwm but the system ignores it

Hi
in marshmallow custom roms , samsung keyboard has newer emojis than the stock one and some better features
how can I change my stock samsung keyboard to that ?
Yes i need that
Any one can help us ?
If you don't have it, try to install Samsung Keyboard apk from Internet. The most trusted side to do it is apkmirror I think. Of course at first you need to delete your old keyboard from the phone. But I recommend using SwiftKey Keyboard from Google Play. It's much more good than Samsung Keyboard. Many keyboard themes, and that what you want: MANY emojis! (maybe 300-500?). AND SO IMPORTANT. You need to know you have ARM or ARM64 system and download compatible Samsung keyboard version.

Well you can't.
The Marshmallow keyboard is built for Android Marshmallow and up.
Also emojis depend on system font.

Look up.
What font are you using for your V20 (whether a stock choice or added through Magisk or another installer)?
Currently testing various fonts, currently using One Plus Slate.
I prefer sans-serif fonts in which you can distinguish between an uppercase i and a lowercase L. On a stock-based ROM, I got Noto Sans Regular from the built-in LG SmartWorld app. On most of my other devices on LineageOS-based ROMs, I simply flashed the ZIP corresponding to Droid Sans in TWRP found in the huge flashable fonts thread. I have not used the Magisk way such as avFonts or MidnightCore yet.
