[Q] LG L5 doesn't work

hello i am from chile, so my english it's not the best
I accidentally installed a firmware to L7 on my L5 (e612) this are the problems:
- the screen goes white (its always "in" white)
the phone reset ramdomly so i cant use the kdz or the LG support tool (when the programs are looking for the phone it resets)
and also i cant get in to download mode.
PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

You tried a hard reset ? (-) and power button ?
And for the download mode you tried with more ports from your pc? I ask because i had this problem on my device, i couldn`t ente rin download mode because of my port from pc.
If you can go in download mode just install another kdz and all will be fine, but install a good one.

i tried that, and every 1 minute mi cellphone reset by it self, so i the program don't have the necesary time to recognize the phone and fix it.
i cant get in to dowload mode. hard reset doesn't work.

I had the same problem,Solved it with removin the battery,then put back on.Next i pluged the USB n then ive pressed vol down n power button n i was in download mode.But it took me to another problem.I had instaled custom JB n when the download finished it stayed on that custom ROM.The problem is that my phone is not rooted now and i cant get into CWM.Rooting tools doesnt work so idk what to do next.

you have e610? because i can give you a nice version of JB, pre rooted and without the useless apps

can i have the JB?

the biggest problem: when i turn on the phone its that the screen don't show me anything,looks all white whit and a black frange downside, and it reset like every 1 minute

@Sabyn I found the JB n flashed it,flashed CWM and all is gd n runnin ty bro.

i cant do that because the cellphone reset, and y cant get in to download mode, also the screen its all white, i cant see anithing, i just listen the music of LG boot

take ur battery off,put it back on,hold volume down n plug the USB in,that worked for me.then u shud be in download mode.start KDZ n set it up n click start download

yeah, be sure you take out the battery, wait a few seconds and after put it again, after hold + and - and plug the usb to phone ( which is already connected to pc) and it will enter in download mode, after flash the kdz

he can enter in download mode only with holdin volume down and plug in USB

nop , that is a hard reset, for download mode you need to hold both + and -

Hmm.I got in download mode only with vol down,why is so diffrent from one device to another device?
EDIT: With vol+ n vol- m gettin into fastboot i guess

Did you try emergency mode? (volume up + volume down + power button)
If not, turn off your phone and unplug it. Then enter emergency mode as described. Then wait 1-2 minutes to see if your phone is restarting. If not, continue flashing with Software update [KDZ] 1.0.4.4 (KDZ-Flasher).

hi.. i have install the cyanogenmod 10... after that the device don't read the sim. I search on the internet how to fix it and resut that I have to flash v10 baseband. go in cwm, flash again cm, and btw, if is cm10.1 or .2, you need to flash v20baseband

[Q] Failed Emergency Download Mode LG L5

After install the v20d baseband on my phone, the phone lost the IMEI number and when I try to enter the EDM appears this screen.
Any way to restore the EDM? I'm with CM 10 installed can access the emulator and recovery. I've tried installing other ROMS but without success. can someone help me?

yeah, i had this problem too, you need to go to downlaod mode and install again the JB or ICS version, or what you need if you want to get your CWM back

The problem is just that. When I go into download mode appears this screen! I just can not get into download mode.

are you sure is Downlaod mode and not emergency mode?
you tried to press both of + and - volume and after plug in the usb cable which is already connected to your pc?

After I updated my LG to v20B I also have a problem to get in Download mode to update it with v20D. I don't know what could be a problem. I noticed my phone was no longer rooted after I updated it with v 20B, but I am not sure if that might be the problem. Must I find the way to root my phone again to be able to get in Download mode the same way as before?

I managed to solve my problem getting into recovery and installing the baseband v10, with that he started to get into download mode. This happened every time I tried to install the v20d baseband. Just get it to work with the baseband v20a.

Hey, I'm having the exact same problem, the same screenshot you posted.
Can you explain how you managed to install baseband v10 in recovery mode? How can I even put baseband v10 in my phone, when I cannot even start it? To put it on my sd card and then install it from recovery?
I hope anyone will reply, because I'm desperate!
edit: ok, i managed to instal v10 baseband, but still cannot enter into download mode....
i press both volume buttons and power button and all that happens now is that my led buttons (back & options) blink once and that's all

Take out battery PRESS AND HOLD VOL- button now plug USB cable into it.
It will start in download mode without battery

From what i can see, you have entered fastboot mode. If you are lucky, you can flash some recovery through fastboot and try to restore the IMEI that way.

I have this E615 in bootloop, not sure how it got to this point, but I suspect failed update or so.
Keep rebooting on the LG Logo and will not enter emergency mode, tried with all key combo with and without batter and USB cable

download lgflashtool (look on xda)
flash using the tool

If you get into charging battery ( remove battery, remove usb cable, plug usb cable, insert battery ), you can use kdz to burn the firmware in diag mode, at least it works on LG E430, good luck.

Some1 told me to use P990 LG usb cable without battery, and it worked.
Phone went into Emergency mode and I flashed it with Vygis

Hi. Well, i think im in very bad situation. Today my power button was working like vol up + power, i couldnt lock phone but i could wake up phone. I thought it's custom rom problem but... I installed custom rom + wrong kernel, then my phone wont run normally. I cant run recovery mode becouse of button/brick. When i've got download mode (i can run in with only power button) my PC cant see it, got drivers etc. so i cant flash it with kdz. When i turn on phone PC show me like 10 partitions and qhsusb_bulk in menager. There is no qualcomm mode in COM ports. What can i do now? I've got warranty for 13 months... Can i send it for warranty with broken buttons or what?

Problem with my S4 GT-i9500 (Stuck in boot mode, bricked)

Hello.
I own a Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-i9500. I tried to downgrade from Lollipop to KitKat using Odin but I messed up in the process of doing so. Now my phone won’t turn on at all unless plugged into the PC via USB cable. When I plug it in, my PC doesn’t recognize it and an error message with a caution sign flashes on the screen. When I try to go into boot mode (holding the Power button + volume down + home) the menu shows up, but when I try to enter the boot mode it doesn’t respond. The only way I can get into the boot mode is when I remove the battery and immediately press the down volume.
Does anyone know what I can do here? Thank you.

Do you mean Download Mode?
Could you try to enter Download Mode with battery removed and flash again your firmware with ODIN? Let me know.

Yeah sorry, I meant download mode.
I've tried that method before but to no avail. My phone is currently at the repair shop, hopefully the pros can find a solution to it.

My phone has been working on android kk. I've been trying to upgrade it to a newer version of android such as lp or mm, but when I install all the drivers in to my computer ( windows 10/8/7 I tried them all ) the phone has never been recognised in my pc even though I can get all type of USB mods ( media, storage, camera transfer... )
Recovery mode is bricked i think , I can go to recovery mode.
P's I didn't try to flash it with computer cuz it's not recognized but I tried from the stock recovery when it was working.
Is everybody has the same issue with slow charging? Or because I have everything stock
