[Q] LG L5 doesn't work

hello i am from chile, so my english it's not the best
I accidentally installed a firmware to L7 on my L5 (e612) this are the problems:
- the screen goes white (its always "in" white)
the phone reset ramdomly so i cant use the kdz or the LG support tool (when the programs are looking for the phone it resets)
and also i cant get in to download mode.
PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

You tried a hard reset ? (-) and power button ?
And for the download mode you tried with more ports from your pc? I ask because i had this problem on my device, i couldn`t ente rin download mode because of my port from pc.
If you can go in download mode just install another kdz and all will be fine, but install a good one.

i tried that, and every 1 minute mi cellphone reset by it self, so i the program don't have the necesary time to recognize the phone and fix it.
i cant get in to dowload mode. hard reset doesn't work.

I had the same problem,Solved it with removin the battery,then put back on.Next i pluged the USB n then ive pressed vol down n power button n i was in download mode.But it took me to another problem.I had instaled custom JB n when the download finished it stayed on that custom ROM.The problem is that my phone is not rooted now and i cant get into CWM.Rooting tools doesnt work so idk what to do next.

you have e610? because i can give you a nice version of JB, pre rooted and without the useless apps

the biggest problem: when i turn on the phone its that the screen don't show me anything,looks all white whit and a black frange downside, and it reset like every 1 minute

@Sabyn I found the JB n flashed it,flashed CWM and all is gd n runnin ty bro.

i cant do that because the cellphone reset, and y cant get in to download mode, also the screen its all white, i cant see anithing, i just listen the music of LG boot

take ur battery off,put it back on,hold volume down n plug the USB in,that worked for me.then u shud be in download mode.start KDZ n set it up n click start download

yeah, be sure you take out the battery, wait a few seconds and after put it again, after hold + and - and plug the usb to phone ( which is already connected to pc) and it will enter in download mode, after flash the kdz

Hmm.I got in download mode only with vol down,why is so diffrent from one device to another device?
EDIT: With vol+ n vol- m gettin into fastboot i guess

Did you try emergency mode? (volume up + volume down + power button)
If not, turn off your phone and unplug it. Then enter emergency mode as described. Then wait 1-2 minutes to see if your phone is restarting. If not, continue flashing with Software update [KDZ] 1.0.4.4 (KDZ-Flasher).

go in cwm, flash again cm, and btw, if is cm10.1 or .2, you need to flash v20baseband

[Q] Help please!!! LG G2 F320L doesn't boot. Boot certification verify.

LG G2 F320L fails to boot after android update.
Device was not rooted.
Just from store.

After update of software, when device is started i get (picture in attachment):
Boot certification verify
Secure booting Error!
Cause: boot certification verify

Tried to enter recovery mode (power + Volume down) - didn't
work.
Found out that pressing (power + Volume up and down) makes phone enter
some mode where everything is on korean (picture in attachment). After trying
pressing different buttons it didn't help also.

Hey all! I've been fighting with similar errors for a couple days and I figured out what happened. I was stuck in fastboot mode the first time due to installing the d802 Cyanogen mod on my d800 AT&T phone on accident (wiki threw me off...) and the second time I attempted to flash a boot.img that was close but not quite right for my phone, causing the boot verify fail issue.
In the first case, my phone eventually went dead and I was able to enter download mode by holding volume up and plugging in the cable while it was still dead. In the second, I found that holding all buttons (volume up, down, and power) continuously eventually made it shut off completely. BUT you have to KEEP holding it, even after it reboots!! Once I got to that stage, the LG Flash software worked wonderfully. Once you get it reset, double and triple check you have the right rom file, then check a few more times just to make sure. Hope that helps!

That's the error message I get when I boot, this is after I hold the power down button for about 10sec. Then it goes back to black.
The solution seems to be here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2582142 . Problem is that I used a kdz file to install my ROM and it doesn't have any img files.
When I connect my phone to my pc, a whole lot of local disks pop-up, of which I can acces only 1. This one has a lot of adsp.b00, adsp.b01, adsp.b02, etc files in it together with some other bXX (where XX is 01 to 26) files.

i haD usbhq_bulK and many drives all i had to do was flash tot.with flash tools if your doesnt go into download mode.. use srk toold to nuke download mode if it fails then open phone and short circuit the motherboard..

[Q] LG G2 bootloop, No recovery mode, only download mode

Hi guys, (LG G2, Rooted, had twrp but now its vanished?!)
I managed to get my LG G2 into a bootloop. I was replacing bootanimations and rebooting and testing them out. I finally tried this 1080p boot animation that looked sweet. Once the device rebooted it would show half the boot animation and then reboot. I had twrp installed but now every time i try to access it it just ignores the hotkeys as if it doesn't exist anymore. I can only get into download mode if a usb is plugged in.
All i need to do is flash TWRP again so i can flash the stock bootanimation back. I do not want to do a fresh install as I have many important files (i know i should have backed them up). I have tried to access my phone via adb using windows commandline tool whilst in download mode. however, adb doesn't find my device (I was going to attempt to push the stock animation back).
Please help me guys i need my phone to be working by monday as i have work! thanks in advance

1. If you connect your phone to PC, what happens?
2. I also had trouble accessing TWRP, so I did the "Factory reset" button combo (Don't remember what it was) and when I slided to confirm, twrp booted. From there I think you have adb and can fix everything.

To get to TWRP, hold the power button until the phone turns completely off, then turn on the phone while holding the power and volume down buttons, then when the LG logo pops up, let go and re-press those buttons. When prompted for a factory reset, press the power button. Works every time for me.

Alone i used lg flashtoolnow,its ok. I didnt click factory reset i assumed it would delete everything? With lgflash i have restored system and everything is how i left it.

All the application force close, so i cannot enter the OS either..

First off, you'll need to make sure your phone isn't plugged in or it won't work - I'm afraid if you can't enter recovery you'll have to go back to stock. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476

Try to flash the Kitkat baseband or if you are fully stock then i suggest you to flash the KDZ to go back to full stock(http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476)
If you still have important data like pictures or what then do normal flash. Use the Android version you also had as stock and use that as KDZ. If you are not stock then can you reach TWRP?
and what did you do before that causes the black screen?

Stuck with the LG logo. Nothing happens in download mode
Hi All, not sure if this has been answered prior. This is what happen, I wanted to flash SOKP so I backup my phone and saved to PC using Titanium. I have TWRP installed.
Boot Into Recovery Mode and Wipe Data,System,Cache,Dalvik
I restart so I can flash the SOKP Rom and all I see on my phone is the LG logo. I try to restart using the Power and Up button, but it just sits in the download mode saying "Firmware Update" with no movement or action.
The phone is unable to turn off now. This is my first go at Flashing a Rom. Any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Hey, I have the nearly same problem with my G2 running CM12 also installed recovery
But I can't reboot in recovery neither with the factory reset buttons, nor manually with SDK Manager, because the device is not found.
So I can just reboot and it shows the CM boot image, or get in the download mode.:crying:

I was in same stuation before 2 months send to warranty.
If rooted you can use adb shell with su and push partitions with "dd" while staring (stuck in lg logo)

I have boot loop, only download mode accessible, device not found on adb. When I try LG FlashTool, instead of using the KDZ file I provide, it starts downloading some other firmware at times, and at times it says your software is up to date. What do I do? :|

Hello everybody. May I introduce myself: I am the noob of the day.
Today I tried to update the android version of my LG Optimus L5 aka E610 by following this guide:

And it worked! Yeah. But then I had the marvellous idea of letting my phone download an official update through the main settings.
And after that my phone shut down to reboot and I became captive to the everlasting limbo of Coldworkmod- Recovery.
Now, everytime I restart my phone I end up in the CWM-Recovery Mode. If I want to use one of the hotkeys to enter the download mode or to execute a hard-reset the display gets stuck on the LG-Logo.
Since I can use the CWM-Mode, I tried to fix the problem by "zip-flashing" some "exitrecovery.zip" from my external-sd-card. But nope, nothing happened. Then I thought- hey lets update CWM. And I was able to update Clockworkmod itself to version "v.6.0.4.7". But I still end up in the CWM-Mode after rebooting.
If anyone knows a solution to my problem, please I need your help, because I am not well versed in this world of cell-phone-dystopia.

you can solve your problem restoring stock firmware throught KDZ
but did you tried to flash a rom into cwm?for example if you have 6.0.4.7 you can try to flash cm11

Yes, I tried to flash Cyanogenmod 11. My phone says that the installation was sucessfull, but I'm still trapped in CWM.
And I KDZ doesn't recognize the phone, because I can't get into download mode.

download custom stock or stock .zip
format all partitions in cwm (/system /data /cache /dalvik... etc.)
instal zip from sideload
reboot phone now
what happens when you:
pull battery out
press and hold vol-
plug usb to pc and phone
wait ~5 seconds
put battery back in ?

In my case (CWM bootloop after OTA, LG L7 II):
- emergency mode (battery out, press&hold volume - and usb connecting to PC, )
- kdz flash with original rom V20a
- phone is alive
cons: no root and no CWM

nothing happens in my case, it just appears a battery indicator charging and that all. please help me get to download mode to flash through KDZ.

i have the same model the same problem no solution and recovery has errors

I am also facing the same problem. My phone was rooted. I received an OTA update. I updated it. There after its just booting into CWM recovery. I tried to flash it with KDZ tool , but no emergency download mode. Please Help.

USB JIG kicks it into download mode
Get one from eBay or else (CHEAPEST ONE AVAILABLE IN YOUR COUNTRY FOR ANY MODEL SINCE THEY ALL SAME)
Ussualy under £3 or 6$

It is possible to make jig at home from scrap electronics or new resistors from shop and usb cable

Urgent Help!!! LG G2 D802

Hey guys!
I used Lg Flash tool 2014 to flash a stock kdz for my phone!
After it get to a 100% the phone keeps showing the lg boot animation.
When i power off the phone i cant switch it on with the power buttons, it only switches on when i connect it via usb. It says it has 82% charge when i connect it by usb. I can get into download mode!
I do not want to lose my data on my internal storage because it has alot of photos!
Any one have a solution?

Are you able to boot into stock recovery? Also, are you sure you flashed the correct kdz file? If download mode works, just re-flash. You should have taken the backup of internal storege BEFORE flashing.

Press the Volume Down and the Power Button at the same time, about 2-3 seconds until the LG Logo shows.
When the LG Logo shows, release the buttons and then press and hold them again.
Keep pressing the buttons until the Recovery Mode Menu displays.

Power buttons dont switch on the phone! I get into download mode my pressing the volume up button and connecting the usb cable.

I bought mine in Qatar. Trying to flash the UK open tdz now. Connection to server failed error pops up but I dont click anything and in the end it ends up in a bootloop

Check the box of the phone if you still have it, that should help you get the exact model of your phone. then try flashing the appropriate kdz.

Does the LG Mobile Support Tool recognize the phone in download mode?
I have a UAE model (d802, 32 GB) and was getting security boot errors. I put the phone into download mode and connect the phone to the LG Mobile Support Tool and performed a upgrade recovery. This brought my phone back to stock LP.

I will try downloading Lg support tool tommorrow and give you an update! Does it wipe your internal memory?

I don't know. I assume it does. I didn't have anything on my phone before restoring.

Hey there! I downloaded the lg support tool and it said there's an upgrade avaliable.
When I click start upgrade it gives me a message saying: More than 195MB storage is required to upgrade your phone. Any suggestions?

I just clicked on upgrade recovery and now its downloading the firmware! Will let you know the result!
