Hi All,
I have been facing this issue for a while now. The auto sleep function stopped working on my lenovo zuk z1 and whenever there is any notification on my phone the screen lights up(mostly Snapchat) and then it doesn't go to sleep automatically(by default 15 seconds). I tried to switch off/on multiple times, change the theme, etc but to no avail.
Also when the screen lights up and kept as such for some time, it gets so heated up that I can't hold it for a while.
Please suggest if you have encountered same issue.

As lenovo zuk z1 runs on Cyanogenmod, so i believe it isn't stock.
I haven't installed twrp but isnt lenovo zuk z1 rooted by default as it runs on Cyanogenmod?

You mean Cyanogen OS 12.1. That's not cyanogenmod. There's no root out of the box activated in Cyanogen OS.
Please be sure what you have, I can't look in your mind. If you are not familiar with some words please consider to Google it for understanding.
I guess you have a stock device, so your only way is to clear cache in bootloader/recovery menu and if that doesn't help you should backup everything and make a factory reset.

I had the same problem, just uninstall the google apps and re-install from playstore
I've just flashed 12.1 and I'm having the following issues:
Gesture typing is not working with the AOSP keyboard (and it is enabled in the settings)
Heads up notifications are not working
Is it just me or any of you are having the same issues?
Quick question: is there a way to change the folder view? It was a circle in CM12 with stacked icons, and now its a square with the icons placed in grid. I prefer the stacked version.

I flashed CM 12.1 over my CM 12 and now the phone seems to be in an infinite switch on - switch off loop. The LG logo appears on the screen, then it switches off, and again... How can I perform a factory reset? I tried "the traditional" way (holding the two buttons in the rear" but it won't stop the infinte loop :S

Clean flash because they upgrade from 5.0.x to 5.1.x
I have a problem with charge which is very very slow ! 300mA on Ampère with original câble and charger. On CloudyG2, with original charger, I have not this problem.
Have you also got this issue or it's from me ?
Coming from Official CM12 w/ KK bootstack and JB bootloader and I wanna make sure I do this right.
Dev post looks like it says it works w/ LP bootstack, so should I flash that after factory reset? Any reason not to?

I'm only getting between 400-700 mA with the stock charger.
Hi there. I have a UK D802 and flashed the latest nightly and I'm loving it. The battery life is amazing.
The only issue I can find is the camera seems to suffer in low light scenarios, where the stock LG camera was excellent. Is there any way I can fix this or potentially revert back to stock LG camera?

I should be able to boot into revovery, do a baclup and full wipe and just flash latest CM12.1, right?

i had the same issue
install cpu z and see if your sensors are working .....if it doesnt show any readings then its mostly a hardware issue

The global trouble with all nougat firmware
Hi guys. I amn't alone, I met 10-15 users at 4pda with such problem.
We have the bug at all nougat roms by any devs with different trees...
The sleep of death.
Personally I notice it after/during mobile internet using, but I'm not sure. For long time at home(for a week, for example) with WiFi I have no troubles. But if I am anywhere without WiFi and use 3g(don't have LTE in my country), my phone "sleeps" for some times during just one day... It isn't powered off as it's needed 10-15 seconds of button pressing to turn it on at least.
As the ROM and developer has no meaning I guess that here are the errors in the kernel. @fir3walk says that here are many bugs in our nougat tree and perhaps the trouble is involved in last_dmesg... Or some system force stopes, dozes work improperly.
Not many users have this trouble but it exists an a fact. So it would be great to detect an error and try to fix it. Perhaps not in nougat, at least in new Oreo(I haven't tried it yet so no information about this bug there). We have many ROMs, they are updated for some times a week, new roms are rolling out... But the bug stays still.
If someone else has such problem, write here. Perhaps somebody has any ideas and together we will be able to find solution...
So, all the devs who can detect an error, write us... Any tests, information, logs, etc.
P.S. By the way it is impossible to write logs of powering off(deep sleeping) via logcat or another's. If I run the logging I have no "sleepOFdeath".

Hello OP, can i ask if you installed that MIUI Ported ROM based in nougat? Because when i installed it (twice) y faced this issue in every rom that i flashed afterwards, then decided to clean-flash miui fastboot rom and the problem was solved.
Maybe that's your problem.

Hello. No, I didn't try miui based on nougat.
But other users say that they notice such trouble at miui(7 android) as well.
So it isn't the cause...
Also about my phone:
Redmi 3s, 2/16, 2016030, FPC, aa1 motherboard.

Will try to flash via miflash, as I faced no problems before this SOD at 7.1.2. Always flashed my phone via twrp.
By the way, guys, my 3s sleeps well on nougat, but it isn't econom in active mod.
For example, I have made a record at our device at 6.0.1 version - 17.5 hours of screen. Nougat isn't so optimized by now... 10-11 as maximum.

Im thinking of removing cynogen OS from this and flash a pure android how can i do that.
Can i use other OS by neglecting cynogen OS???

So I rooted my zuk z1 and then recent button stopped working. After installing custom rom (pixel and later AEX) my recent button fingerprint sensor and speaker stopped working. Can someone pls help me.
