HTC Athena x7500 "Black Screen"

Hi guys,
This is my first post over here >>> Actully i have a problem with the athena i tried to unlouck it using X7500 Unlocker but i faced a really difficult problem. i am getting a black screen only no boot , no hard reset and no USB connection. I tried my best to breing it back up but i couldn't. Plz i need your help to solve this problem.

No I haven't >> i9 will try now

I tried all the wiki instruction but actully i am not getting the boot screen at all only black screen no more at all

Same happened to one of our units here.
Needed a trip to the service. ALWAYS take out SIM card and miniSD card out when flashing, they're known to cause random f***ups.

sorry about my english i have the same problem when i press camera key +power +rest i dont have any action and i try the camera +slid volum key down and i try camera + voice key and i try all key but i dont hav any action all this whitout sim and minisd just black sacreen help me plz plz plz

I have interest problem. After step 2 of unlocking i get the black screen. After I have followed of instructions. When I try to flash the ROM, i see: "Error [302]: Update error"
I have no SIM or card inside. I tried with 3 different ROM flash my f***ed device. Nothing helps. May be anyone of u can help me?

What state is your Athena in ? Bootloader accessible, black screen, what exactly ?

i had similar problem but before any one can help you u have to tell us in what state exactly your device is and try to get it in to bootloader before we can help first thing is you want to check in bootloader is that if your device is hard spl (if yes then you can flash it with any rom)
the eiset way to do it is Rename the .NBH file to ATHEIMG.nbh and copy it to your miniSD card. Press camera+com manager+soft reset to bootloader and wait for reading ATHEIMG.nbh from SD. Remember, the miniSD card must be formatted with a FAT32 filesystem before copying the file ATHEIMG.nbh to your miniSD.
u can use any (athena rom ) as long as it is hard spl other wise if not sure or any doubt use your ship rom (nbh file)

i also got one 7500 for repair, client told me while CID unlocking communications breaks and AMEO is DEAD.
Does not go into BOOT-LOADER mode,
Computer not detects it,
No responce to charger, no ring
Battery is charged with 3.77vDC
Red ring comes for a sec only try to RESET the device with Charger connected
Red ring also visible as long as Battery is not in the Phone and Charger is connected.
IS THERE ANY HOPE TO REVIVE IT

SIM-Lock

Hi all,
I hope somebody can help me.
I lived in Japan and bought the Hermes (Softbank). After comming back to Germany I wanted to install another ROM to use the phone in Germany.
Following step I did:
1. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=282073 (unlock sim and scid)
I checked this with the command promt (cmd>task 32 -> Level = 0)
2. Installing a new ROM.
During the installation I didnt have any trouble. I could Install the ROM and the OS is working fine.
If I put the SIM card in, and type my PIN a message pop up which says:
SIM-Lock. You tried 20 times and you have to wait.
But nothing happend if I wait.
I dont understand that....Do you have any reason?

my problem is ,that i bought an herold witch is stuck in the bootloader !
the need little stripes won´t dissapear by any type of reset.
there a so many threads that stroke that a bit... but none only for that specific propblem...
i don´t know by witch method the thing was flashed so i can´t help you there.

You could always try flashing the original ROM. They can all be found here:

If that doesn´t work it would be helpful to know the SPL version, I can´t tell by the picture the numbers are too small.

from looking at the picture you included, I can see your IPL is v1.xx
There have been many people who have permanently bricked their phones by trying to hardspl and uspl ... so make sure you do some research before attempting to do those..

If it goes to bootloader automatically, and it has an SPL of 1.x, it's probably already permanently bricked. Your only option is to bring it to a repair center. Sorry.

i now figured out that it is an italien device.. but the italien firmware also didn´t work...

Like I said, if it's stuck at bootloader and has that SPL, it's probably permanently bricked. Either the Radio or SPL or IPL was accidently overwritten. I was researching and found something that maybe be useful if it's the radio being overwriten but don't have the knowhow to port it to the Herald... yet.

i just tryed : 1. Kill ActiveSync process - wcescom.exe on your computer.
2. Attach USB-cable to device.
3. Run programm from attach, select "\\.\WCEUSBSH001" from
port's list and click Ok.
4. Type (type himself, not copy/paste) in window:
password BsaD5SeoA(press Enter)
ruurun 0(press Enter)
ResetDevice(press Enter)
and after a hardreset..... the screen went green....so... Step forward or did i now find the perfekt brick procedure
what means a greenscreen ?? btw

so now back in rainbow-mode
is there a way to CID unlock the thing with PUTTY
short before it enters bootmode it displays "searching for sd-card"

[Q] i cant get root, stuck at step2

i followed the downgrade procedure and successfully downgraded to 1.31.405.5... but when i get to step2 on the root procedure, it just gets stuck at the exclamation point screen...
i have hboot 1.01... could this be the problem?? how can i solve this?
i need root access because i want to install the official CM mod... i hope someone can help me...

ok here's whats happening..
step 1 on rooting procedure seems to finish well..
step 2 it says error:device not found
anyone can tell me what im doing wrong?

Make sure you are in recovery mode aka the screen with a ! inside a triangle
Also make sure you are running HTC sync 2.0.33 or older otherwise it won't work

i did all that still my device isn't detected... seems like my legend isn't detected when on recovery mode... anyone knows how this can be done?
also my goldcard is at mmc0.. is that okay?

That should be no problem as long as it's been formated since the goldcard aka your SD card should be blank to do step 2.
also did you downgrade to 1.31 before starting?
what rooting guide are you useing?

First, it would be nice to know what kind of tutorial you're following.
Then, I had some similar issue when I wanted to root my Legend. My windows Seven won't recognize my phone in recovery mode. In order to make it to do so, I had to :
- uninstall HTC sync
- install ADB (and do the stuff in the PATH variable)
- then put my legend into recovery mode
- Plug my phone when in recovery mode
- Then re install HTC sync
Now my legend is recognized by my computer, even in recovery mode.
Have a try and tell us !

another thing to try is removing the HTC drivers from device manager then install HTC Sync 20.0.33 then try
also usfull adb command is "adb devices" it will tell you if your device is seen a lot easyer then waiting for the step2 script to say no devices

@sckank - 32bit windows xp sp2
@50-3 - no device detected when i use adb devices on recovery

step 1 finished but i get 2 fail messages
writing 'zip' .. INFO adopting the signature contained in this image.... INFOsignature checking...
FAILED (remote; 12 signature veryfy fail)

i might not be actually stuck at step2... coz step1 is giveing me errors... i hope someone can help me...

There is an alternitive way to do this i have not tryed rooting use this method but possible work head over to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=698404 grab the files follow the guide you should be able to do part 8 and 9 without doing part 7 (step bat file)

SOLVED! my gold card got corrupted i think so i had to redo the gold card procedure...

P8 - bootloader issue

Hi Gents, Ladies
I have the GRA-L09 P8, single SIM south Africa. I installed B200 via SD card no issue, then tried to install I think B313 Romanian.? Not sure..
Device is now stuck in a boot loop - I see the boot animation, over an over....!!!!
I thought, and still think, I need a Huawei Bootloader unlock code, as the device doesnt seem to listen to Fastboot to flash another ROM.
Huawei site to obtain bootloader unlock codes seems to be having issues, and Huawei support will not assist. Right now I just wanna go back to the stock ROM and get my device back.
Any help would be appreciated - thanks gents, and ladies!

Did you try to do a factory reset, when the phone is rebooting and the screen is black before you see the huawei logo you need to be fast here hold volume up + power button together at the same time to enter stock recovery you should be able to do a factory reset from there.
If this doesn't work try to install B200 rom put the dload folder in the sd card. Hold the 3 keys( volume up, volum down and power) to flash the rom make sure to hold the buttons when the screen is black and before you see the huawei logo.

No, but use the B200 you installed before on your phone. If you want from another region make sure the rom you download CxxxB200 , the xxx part matches the one that came with your phone.

Unlock bootloader @P8
Hi, i borrow this same thread if OP wont get mad.
I got new P8 with newest firmware and emui. How can i unlock bootloader these days? That [email protected] or what was it, wont answer if you send an email and ask a code for unlocking.

It's working i just checked. make sure to select english in the select langauge.

It worked for us when we signed in with Facebook rather than registering on VMALL or whatever it is with email password..
