So I just managed to download the 5.0.1 Odin file earlier and flashed it using Odin v3.10 and everything went smoothly and it booted up just fine works great and all. But when I attempted to go back into Download mode and flash TWRP in order to get root back I can into "Secure check fail: recovery" and it fails on Odin's screen as well.
I've tried both Philz CWM and TWRP same result. I did notice that within the small text on Download mode it reads "SECURE DOWNLOAD: ENABLED."
Any help would be much appreciated
Is your bootloader unlocked?

2. Click on AP, choose File "CF-Auto-Root-klte-kltedx-smg900f.tar.md5" taken from here (for 5.0)
3. Put Galaxy s5 in download mode (switch off phone then hold VolDown+Home+Power)
4. Connect S5 with USB to PC and hit "Start" on Odin; Odin quits with: success: 1 / failed: 0
Phone rebooted automaticaly, but halt with:
RECOVERY BOOTING...
RECOVERY IS NOT SEANDROID ENFORCING
Set Warranty Bit: recovery
Battery out & in, booting in recovery (VolUP+Home+PWR) result allways in Set Warranty Bit: recovery;
Battery out & in, booting in download mode still working, so I flashed "twrp-2.8.7.0-klte.img.tar" with Odin to get my Phone work...
What is wrong? How can I get my S5 rooted?
Thank you & best wishes,

OK, flashed with "CF-Auto-Root-klte-kltexx-smg900f.tar.md5" taken from this Post but same here, the only different is the screen turns black and no response (waiting 20 min.).
Maybe the files is for 4.4 and not for 5.0; any idea where get kltexx for 5.0?
Also tried it with "Auto Reboot" off in Odin and rebooted manualy.
Hmm, I looked at the Chainfire Site and found both files listet for my G900F, but none of them is for the actual Stock ROM release ( G900FXXU1BOJ1).
Now I habe a rooted S5
1. copy "UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.46.zip" to phone internal storage
2. flash the "twrp-2.8.7.0-klte.img.tar" with Odin (with "Auto Reboot" OFF)
3. After battery out and in, boot into recovery (VolUP+Home+PWR)
4. In recovery with TWRP go to install zip, choose "UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.46.zip".
Reboot Phone and tested with a root Checker from Playstore and -> Congratulations! Root access is properly installed on this device!

Thanks, I had the same problem and thanks to this method it workes just fine.
Does this mean you don't need CF-Auto-Root-klte-kltexx-smg900f.tar.md5 if you are using the above method?
As long as you have a custom recovery and use the flashable SuperSU.zip you don't need cf auto root. I think it's a safer method personally, as I've seen a few people on here have issues using cf auto root. I used the recovery + SuperSU method myself without problem on the G900F
Today i was trying to install the Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 on my Galaxy S5 Snapdragon via Odin, i downloaded the firmware from Sammobile, i verified that the phone model was exactly the same as named on the firmware, i place the .md5 file in the AP slot and everything was ready to go! (The phone was already plugged and in Bootloader mode, and drivers were up to date) then when finishing the flash Odin FAILS to complete the flash and the phone is left with nothing than the Download mode, i panic and try to access recovery mode but realize that there´s no recovery....I proceed to install the recovery.tar into my phone and it works, i start the phone and Samsung logo comes up, finally it loads and does al the process after you flash a Samsung phone.
Everything works just fine!...except for one thing, THERE´S NO RECOVERY!!!. The phone works perfectly but when i try to enter recovery mode, it sends me to Odin mode as it displays a message saying that failed to boot into recovery.
Please help me i don´t know what to do.
Thanks!
Just flash a custom recovery like twrp or cwm

You need to flash a pit file to complete the install correctly.
Summary: My tablet is soft-brick now. Can only access to Download (ODIN) mode. I have tried 2,3 different firmwares, tried 3 versions of ODIN. But it doesn't work.
Here is the story:
I bought this tablet from bestbuy (USA)
I only wanted to root my tab A 7.0 SM-T280.
I enabled the OEN unlock from the developer mode.
Then I tried to flash the TWRP by the tutorial from this topic by @ashyx :
To install TWRP:
1. Flash with ODIN 3.10.7 in the AP slot.
Uncheck Auto reboot.
2. Load the respective file below into the AP slot and hit start.
3. After flashing when ODIN says PASS immediately reboot to recovery by holding POWER + HOME + VOL DOWN.
As soon as the screen goes blank change to VOL UP whilst still holding the other buttons.
You should now see TWRP recovery.
TWRP_3.0.2-1_SM-T280_261016

After flashing, on the download mode it showed: "SECURE CHECK FAIL: (RECOVERY)", then I reboot into recovery mode to access the TWRP but it said: "RECOVERY IS NOT SEANDROID FORCEFUL (although in ashyx topic said the SECURE FAIL is fine).
I still was able to reboot into the system this time.
And then I thought I should try another way. And then I came up with the TINKER ROM.
I tried to flash the Rom (v5) but somehow ODIN said FAIL.
I COULD NOT access the system since then.
Bu @zenful 's advices, I tried some different stock firmwares and different versions of ODIN just to get back to normal, but it never works.
Every time I flash, it always has the same problem:
- First try, ODIN fails at:
sboot.img
sboot2.img
complete (write) failed... (I don't remember though)
And in the download mode screen (from the phone) said:
SECURE CHECK FAIL (SBOOT)
SECURE CHECK FAIL (SBOOT2)
- Second try, ODIN fails at:
boot.img
system.img
Complete (write) fail...
And in the screen said:
SECURE CHECK FAIL (BOOT)
SECURE CHECK FAIL (RECOVERY)
I also tried emergency recovery mode in smart switch but it didn't solved the problem. One good thing (after I entered the tablet model and serial number) is that it showed "PHONE: QA4 CSC: PH3 (XAR)"
______________
I'm pretty sure that the problem doesn't come from fw nor from ODIN since I downloaded the fws from sammobile and updato and downloaded ODIN from xda (the latest version from samsungodin.com)
I'm seriously need a help right now. I just wanna have a rooted tablet so I can play game with my ps4 controller.
I have experienced with these flashing business. I rooted my galaxy s2, HTC desire c, HTC evo, etc. and so on, but have never done rooting in the last 1 year. I can attach some snapshots if you guys request

Try this: download your desire firmware via samfirm (BL+AP+CP+CSC when extracted) plus you need a pit file for your model with the same region as firmware and then flash (with 4 firmware files incl pit) via odin autoreboot+repartition+nand erase+f.reset time. At least you will get working stock tablet. It worked on my note 4 soft bricked.

TWRP custom recovery installs but shows "cannot boot normally" on recovery mode boot
Hi, my device is Samsung Galaxy Note 3 sm-n900k (korean). I tried to flash custom recovery (twrp). These are the steps I followed:
-> Went into developers mode and checked USB debugging.
-> Went to security and disabled reactivation lock.
-> Downloaded latest Odin (v3.13.1).
-> Downloaded latest TWRP (twrp-3.2.3-0-hlte.img.tar).
-> Flashed TWRP with odin and Odin showed Pass.(I put my device into download mode did everything suggested in a thread )
-> then I tried to boot in recovery mode but , a message at the top of the screen was displayed in red color : "cannot boot normally".
Please help. Did I do something wrong? Thanks in advance.

Yes. I downloaded it from twrp site. I am not allowed to post a link so the page I downladed it from goes like this:
twrp site -> Searched Samsunge Galaxy Note 3 -> Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (Americas, China, Europe & Korea) (hlte)
Try older twrp
Or read the identical threads .
https://twrp.me/samsung/samsunggalaxynote3qualcomm.html
Actually I have already tried about 8 older versions. Upto " twrp-2.8.7.0-hlte-4.4.img.tar " because the official site mentioned they update to support newer devices, I even tried using older version of Odin, also hit many similar threads. But there is very little thread for sm-n900k and reagrding this problem of TWRP not booting even with successful installation. But thanks anyways.
Try Philz Recovery or CWM if installs you can flash twrp zip
