------------------------------------------------------------------------
How to solve:
1_ Download the following zips in a folder
Code:
[URL="https://vasy.ru/TWRP/P024/"]https://vasy.ru/TWRP/P024/[/URL] TWRP
[URL="http://4pda.ru/pages/go/?u=http%3A%2...zip&e=48313529"]http://4pda.ru/pages/go/?u=http%3A%2...zip&e=48313529[/URL] CM 13.0
[URL="http://opengapps.org/?download=true&arch=arm&api=6.0&variant=pico"]http://opengapps.org/?download=true&arch=arm&api=6.0&variant=pico[/URL] G APPS
[URL="http://d-h.st/8FqR#"]http://d-h.st/8FqR#[/URL] ADB and other utilities . Thanks to @backwardastep
2_ Move CM 13.0 and G APPS in a sd card and insert it into the tablet
3_ Unzip z380klroot_w_xposed
4_ move the TWRP.img in the "z380klroot_w_xposed" folder
5_ open cmd on Windows and move in the z380klroot folder. Type:
Code:
cd C:\Users\XXX\Desktop\z380klroot_w_xposed
6_ Connect the tablet
7_ Then type:
Code:
fastboot boot twrpxx.xx.xx.img
the tablet will start to looking for a device
8_ Press power + "volume +" in order to put the tablet in recovery (you can also put the tablet in recovery mode before the point 7)
9_ Then it should boot a temporany TWRP
10_ From TWRP wipe all data and install first CM 13.0 and GAPPS as usual
Now you have a working CM 13.0
PS. i noted in the Andmen blog's that exist also an Resurrection Remix

How do you flash back to ASUS's stock ROM? I downloaded 4.8.0_WW off 4PDA but it gives me an error when trying to flash it via TWRP. Any ideas?

So I would have to reflash the stock recovery and use that to flash stock? If I use ASUS's FlashTool would that reset everything back to stock?

1. yes, you should flash before the stock recovery and then the stock rom
2. I don't know, i have never used asus flash tool, but i think that you should have anyway the stock recovery file
Again, i repeat, if someone know how copy the stock recovery, i can do it. My tablet have still the stock one and i could copy and post here !
I've tried to flash recovery image in adb fastboot and stock rom in asus flash tool but it doesn't work

Gonna try this:
{Mod edit}
(use GTranslate)
Do you have a link to the stock recovery @bangdes?
Edit: I flashed this (https://www.asus.com/zentalk/tw/thread-147621-3-1.html) and now I just get an ASUS logo that eventually goes to the "Powered by Android" screen. Gonna try flashing stock now.
Edit 2: Gave me an error 7. Gonna try charging it up and flashing it again while I research what's up.
Edit 3: tried booting TWRP over stock recovery and adb sideloading it. finished saying total xfer: 1.09x and booted me to a black screen once I tried rebooting (TWRP gave me a No OS warning) saying it couldn't find drivers for Qualcomm HD-9008. ****, I think I just hard bricked my tablet yet again. Rebooted into driver signature disabled mode and it says "unknown device". Can't even turn off the damn thing.

Ok, lil update. Found out a potential unbricking method:
{Mod edit}
Also this thread is just dedicated to this brick: {Mod edit}}
And here's a few others who have the same issue: {Mod edit}
According to a guy who natively speaks Russian, this is a hardbrick that can't be repaired without sending it in to the OEM.
Kinda wish I had a little birdie that could fly into the ASUS office (I've been there, actually pretty nice. Lounge chairs with tablets and phones on display to play with while you wait, and a TV that was playing Finding Nemo in Chinese. Plus staff was nice enough, I just played dumb about what happened lol) and just tell me what exactly I can do to fix this. Even worse, the one year warranty is almost up so I'm gonna have to fork over cash if I send it in to be repaired AGAIN. This makes me want to send this tablet off to repair and sell it off for a NVIDIA Shield or something, Jesus. I got burned by Asus with the ZF2 and yet I still fell into this trap. Same with Samsung, I guess I'm just a masochist or something. Anyways, currently juggling fixing/rooting my S7 along with school work, so it'll be a few days or so until I can start experimenting with this. On a sidenote, damn the OPO is good. Still flies after three years of daily usage

I apologize if it looks like a spam, I am just suggesting that you should at least try to restore the stock system partition before trying to flash stock rom using TWRP as it does not work with the custom ROM system partition. As far as I have tried I couldn't boot into stock recovery, maybe it doesn't have one on my model. I can only boot into fastboot.
Best bet is to try to boot into custom recovery and restore the stock system partition from a backup file and then flash the stock rom and see whether it works.

Give FlashFire a try
I've always stayed away from flashing apps. Using the ADB / Fastboot shell on your computer works just fine and is relatively simple if you only want to flash some files.
If you don't want to install the entire Android SDK just to have ADB / Fastboot functionality, have a look at the Minimal ADB and Fastboot installer: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2317790
So i wanted to install twrp and root my phone without even thinking that something can go wrong. I installed twrp but couldn't root, when i tried to install supersu through recovery the phone got stucked at the logo. And i tried to reinstall the android (volume up and down + power button ) but every time i try it always says software installed failed. And now i don't know what do please i want to use my phone again it's brand new . I also can't install twrp anymore, my phone is literally useless.

Read more, fixing your phone is pretty basic stuff. But anyway this isn't "stock" way to fix things(cause i'm too lazy to write all steps and I prefer to use this when i want to get clean install), but easy and fast if you follow instructions.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-4x/how-to/install-emui-4-1-4x-4c-g-play-g-play-t3515702
Also check root tutorial from "MEGA-THREAD ALE-L21, ALE-L23, ALE-L02, Converting, Root, Unbrick, Updating, Xposed". There is 1.zip file which makes you able to install SuperSu in system-less mode which doesn't cause bootloop.

nevermind i managed to flash the stock rom thx for the help
Hey guys, i sucessfull flashed a patched boot.img to my phone. After that i got Root, everythings worked fine. But when I used to deleted System apps with Titanium Backup,I need to restart my Phone, after that it stucks at Bootloop and wont finish.
So I decide to flash my stock rom again, using Odin but it wont flash it, I got a error message. After that I tried it with the combinated Rom file that I found online. I thought it's a stock rom. But It wasn't. After flashing it successfully with Odin, I see it wasn't the stock rom. It's useless. So I tried to go into download mode but it wont. It's just black. So I tried go into recovery mode ( stock Recovery because no twrp avaible for now). And Recovery works after that I go into bootloader (download mode). And tried to flash stock rom. But it wont flash. I just get a error message.
I need your advice guys. What should I do now
I'm using 9.0 pie
Oem unlock: ON
USB-DEBUGGING: ON
ROOTED: YES
No Twrp
download a stock firmware from sammobile, with the version 9.0 pie, and try to flash it with odin,
i think that you couldn't use odin because you tried to flash and older version of android,
also try to use in case of not working the samsung emergency backup softawre (smart switch)
tell me if you fail
also copy the odin error fail message

No, to delete the system apps you must fully root using TWRP and flashed magisk. Not by using patched boot image using magisk. Deleting system apps will fail by using patched magisk method. To fully root the device you must flash magisk using TWRP and then, you can delete or modify any system apps

Hi EVERYONE
I don't know how to create a Post to ask this question, so unfortunately, I am ''rudely'' interupting this conversation to hopefully reach out to the person who can help me!
I recently acquired a Samsung SM-A920F (fantastic phone, I love it , I definitely recommend Android).
Now unfortunately, no matter what I do, what method I use, what keys I press, what drivers I download, what program I use; it WILL NOT give me root access... I've had a few ''bootloops'' during the process, but nothing I couldn't recover from...
I don't know why I can't root it! PLEASE PLEASE, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, HELP ME.
How do you unlock bootloader

Dear all,
first of all I would like to be sorry if I'm saying something worng. I'm not so expert about Android world.
I've got a OnePlus 6T that I've rooted with the help of a friend some months ago.
Not it's a lot that I keep see the notification abount the OS update and I keep skipping it but it's bothering me so... I searched for a guide and I found this (https://oneplus.gadgethacks.com/how...thout-losing-root-no-computer-needed-0192638/) (I hope I can post it also if it's from another website).
It seems so simple, I've downloaded the OTA update, the TWRP and the Magisk. My issue is that whene I reboot to the recovery I'm not booting into TWRP but I suppose into the OnePlus recovery instead.
I searched angain and found this other guide (https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-6t/how-to/official-oxygenos-9-0-4-ota-oneplus-6t-t3860953) that is more complete but I can't understand if it's the proper guide I need to follow to update my device keeping it rooted and most of all without loosing any data.
Thanks,
Riki
The first guide you linked to is wrong. Do not follow that. That is why you don't have TWRP anymore. The second guide you linked to on XDA is correct. Follow the TWRP guide. Once you have TWRP reinstalled.
You must download the zip from the second link you posted here at XDA.
Flash the Zip in TWRP. This flash the update to the opposite slot. It also wipes out TWRP and replaces it with the stock recovery.
Now you must reinstall TWRP. Flash the TWRP installer. This will flash TWRP to both slots.
Now reboot to recovery. This will reboot to the new slot where you update was just flashed.
This is when you install Magisk to the updated slot. You MUST do this.
Now reboot to system after you installed Magisk.
Now you have updated without losing any data.
The guide in the second link says to use the Magisk uninstaller. I've personally never done this. This is probably for people who use all sorts of weird add-ons and such. I don't know. Never uninstalled Magisk, never had a problem. That's all I can say. You can try it, or you can follow the official instructions.

Sounds like you're not running the command from the folder where fastboot.exe is located.
Makes me wonder why you did it this way in the first place. And why people suggested it. Easiest way to install updates on a rooted 6T is to install the update through the normal updater without rebooting, going to Magisk Manager and selecting install to inactive slot and rebooting only after that. That's really all there is to it.

Is fastboot installed? Are you typing the commands correctly?

Fastboot was working until I reinstalled adb and OnePlus drivers.

I didn’t know any other way. That’s why I asked how to do it. Anyway I’m running the command from the right folder. Maybe something broke on my laptop.
Yesterday evening I tried from a new laptop windows 10, installed adb and OnePlus driver for the first time and I was able to run the commands without the error not finding the command but:
Fastboot boot twrp.image returned me an error
If I run fastboot flash boot twrp.image it does not give me error but the phone does not response. It only boot to the boot loader.

Try uninstalling adb. Delete the whole folder and install it again. Try updating your netframework on your PC and the latest C++

I'm creating a new tread about the issue and the state where I am because now I can't update or keep data, I just need to recover the phone to a normal state.

Flashing the fastboot rom would probably have gotten you back in and maybe with your data in tact. Now fair warning I'm a Linux user anyways, but really fastboot and adb are so much easier in Linux. For people that have issues, it sometimes is easier just to make a bootable USB / CD of Linux Mint or Ubuntu and then from Synaptic or the Package manager install adb and fastboot. No drivers or anything else to install, everything will just work.
Last time I got stuck in fastboot I just used the fastboot ROM to get back to bootable.

Those fastboot roms have sure saved me from raging before
I would also recommend using migrate, it's in the play store and it backs up all your data and then puts it in a flashable zip

Do a factory reset from TWRP and flash the full ROM.
One best method...and the method that works 100% tested for upgrading a rooted OOS to new OOS version without any loss of data, without any issues.
I'll mention the guide that I have used to upgrade from 9.0.12 rooted to 9.0.13 rooted. Without any loss of data
Download latest OOS full ROM
Boot to TWRP
Flash OOS 9.0.13
Flash TWRP installer zip
Reboot system
Phone will boot.
Now go back to recovery mode
Flash Magisk if u want root again
Done
No confusion. No data loss. Not being stuck. Sweet and Simple.

So I don't have to wipe my system data or anything. I heard some people had the problem of getting stuck or that there was a red warning screen that popped up when booting, and I'm not talking about the bootloader message. I'm currently on 9.0.11. Also should I download the latest version of TWRP or should I use the one I'm using currently. Don't wanna mess anything up. Another guide I read said I should flash the oos rom, then TWRP, than magisk
