Whenever I try to unlock the bootloader of my Nexus 7. I will get to the screen that asks do I really want to unlock, I select yes. At the top of the bootloader screen it just sits and says "Unlocking now...." from there It will not reboot into the bootloader and whenever I do get it powered down and back into the bootloader it is still locked. I have also tried fastboot and various toolkits to automatically unlock and flash back to factory.
In the end I am trying to get in back to original state. I have fastboot.exe and the image file. At the moment trying to boot the device it will not get past the first "Google" startup screen. Any help would be appreciated. I am fairly new at this and have been spending hours of time trying to get my Nexus 7 to work again.
ive ran into a big problem. i had my OP2 rooted and loaded with CM12. Recently i wanted to revert back to stock to receive all the updates for the phone and in the process of reversing everything, i've managed to lose everything as i was expecting when i was initially going to. Now the bootloader will not unlock with using "fastboot oem unlock". The phone restarts out of fastboot to the 1+ logo then black screen or just sits in a constant boot loop.
Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.
It's sad no one answered your post u know I'm going thru the same problem
Done everything like enable OEM unlock and USB Debugging in developer settings?
I've rooted my Moto G4 XT1625, nearly bricked it, had to reset it a few times to get WiFi to work, and am right now in a good place. The one last thing I'd like to fix up is that whenever I normally boot my phone (single press of Power button when it is off), it will load to the bootloader as if I was pressing Power and Volume Down.
I flashed the stock images from moto's site and that's when I noticed this particular problem.
It's not that big of a deal, and may get me to do more regular backups through TWRP, but some quick searching the internet and xda forums seems this isn't a common problem; I couldn't come up with the right keyword combination to find it. (You know how common "Bootloader" is?) I was curious if anyone knows what happened and how to fix it so that I can do a quick restart of my phone without entering the bootloader every time. (And of course I want to retain my ability to enter bootloader if I press the Power and Volume Down key to boot.)
Cheers
Having the same issue amz XT1625 7.0 locked BL
I am currently having this issue as well on my Amazon XT1625, also i am on Stock 7.0 and locked bootloader.
Does anyone have any insight into this issue?
Edit:

Sorry bad english. I have a Motorola X Style XT1572 Brazil, I rooted it once and now I am back to stock rom and it always go to bootloader screen and I dont know how to get off it.
Plus it had update to software but when it tried to update it goes to 12% and reboot to bootloader, back to 0% again and repeating about 5x and got a error that cannot update. I downloaded here the 6.0 marshmallow Latin America DS stock rom, also have the warning back everytime of unlocked bootloader.
Thx for attention and helping =)
Run "fastboot oem fb_mode_clear" using Command Prompt (Windows) or Terminal (Linux/OS X) then reboot the phone.

I will try that. That will remove the bootloader screen right?
How do I remove the warning of unlocked bootloader too?
Thx for the attention, =)

fastboot oem fb_mode_clear takes the bootloader out of fastboot flashing mode, turning it on is the first step in flashing a stock ROM, but sometimes it seems to just happen... This will cause the bootloader NOT to pop-up on reboot/startup.
The bootloader unlocked screen will ALWAYS be there, forever, including the delay and vibration... You can hide it with a custom logo screen or the stock, patched logo image (look around, it's posted here)
Note you will never be able to hide the fact the bootloader was unlocked, if anyone who knows anything just starts the bootloader it will show a Status of 2, meaning relocked. That is NOT possible to be changed or hidden, and it cannot go back to a 0 (locked). Fastboot getvar all will always show the truth too.

Read my post again... Flash the patched logo.
The unlock screen and status are still there, just hidden.
I apologize if i have posted this in the wrong place.
I have a vs995, I am following the dirty Santa guide in order to unlock bootloader and root.
I am not getting any errors during the process.
After step 2 I am able to successfully backup my bootbackup.img and abootbackup.img to the pc.
the phone reboots and start vibrating (so far so good), I run step 3 in order to flash twrp.
I dont get any errors and this step completes.
However I noticed that it still says that the bootloader is locked.
Then phone reboots, it gets to the verizon logo with the dots moving from left to right, and is vibrating.
I believe that it supposed to say in this vibrating state for like 30 minutes until the home screen comes up.
. However in my case it stays in this mode (vibrating with verizon log spinning) for ever.
I have let it sit like that for hours and nothing happens.
The only way I can get out of this loop is to flash a firmware.
I have tried this numerous times with firmware 13a (VS99513A_04_1205_ARB00.kdz) and 12a (VS99512A_06_1114_ARB00.kdz)
I noticed that I cannot get into recovery, i get that error saying your phone is corrupt and will shut off in a few minutes.
Is there any other way to unlock the bootloader or is there a different firmware that I need to be on?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
