Can we secure any app data (e.g. Bank payment Apps data) by making root shield for APP.
So, we can prevent from stealing such type of app data by another app which have root access ???
Suppose I have Axis bank app and one root access granted app XYZ-APP [root] so there are possibilities XYZ-APP [root] can access my banks app data ???

I need an app that blocks app internet access.
Thanks
LBE ?
Droid wall is great!
Motorola Atrix 4G AT&T unlocked
Droidwall still allowed PowerAMP online... So far LBE seems to be ok.
When I am using an app to access the internet media, I am always curious about where do they download the data and where is the downloaded content. Is there an app out there that allows me to have an internet access record of selected apps?
I have a rooted Note 3, TMobile, n900t. Any ideas on how I could block access to the Internet, as well as access to Google Play, but have my downloaded apps, such as gmail, still function? I've recently joined a Sexaholic Anonymous due to my porn addiction and need some safeguards in place in order to continue using this phone. I realize when there's a will, there's a way, I just want that way to be as near impossible to access. Possibly even something that would block access via password someone else enters.
Thank you for your help.
Hey , Use Android Firewall+ from Playstore :good:
As far as internet access blocking goes , AFwall+ will get stuff done for you.
For additional app security and locking with password / pin , try AppLock
* Both apps free from playstore
I know you can restrict a particular apps from using cellular data. But I'd like to do the opposite...
Is there a way to force an app to ONLY use cellular data, and not the wi-fi connection?
You could use AFWall+ but you need root for that.

Click to collapse
Thanks. I'll keep searching for a non-root method, for the app I'm trying to block is one of those annoying won't-run-when-rooted apps...
Hi,
How would you architecture your app to allow access to your backend server services to just the users that paid for your app? I understand there's the Google Play Billing Library, but how do you get from there to identify the user on the server?
Tks,
OK, it seems this thread has some good ideas:
How to verify purchase for android app in server side (google play in app billing v3)
I have a simple app (needs user login with account). I provide some premium features for paid users, like more news content. I need to record if the user has bought this item in my server database...
