The only method i'd recommend you to follow is, getting the original version for you to "dload"..
You should check your model version "L21" "L23" "L31" or "L53", then finding your variant "CXXX" and aplying with dload method
Resumming:
1- Find your variant
2- Find your customization version
3- Download a LXX-CXXXBXXX (normally it should finish on B120 or B160) that is stock MarshMallow
4-Create a folder on your SDCard called "dload"
5-Unpack your zip, you'll get a "UPDATE.APP" file
6-Copy the file to the folder created on step 4
7-Turn off your phone
8-Turn on your phone pressing Volume UP + Volume DOWN and POWER
9-It should reinstall STOCK MarshMallow and you should be fine..
Downgrade to 6.0 b160 repair this
Thanks

P9 Lite blocked on boot screen (Huawei picture)

Hi everybody,
After many search, I need your help in order to try to unlock my phone.
I am using a P9 Lite VNS-L31. I was not satisfied by Android 7.0 version so I tried to rollback to Android 6.0. I followed the guide on Huawei site.
Unfortunatelly, during the step 4, the rom flash did not work.
I thought I was smart enough to find a solution by myself and I tried to flash the phone again with the intermediate package. It did not work.
Now, the phone is stuck on the screen start (Huawei picture).
The only thing I can do is fastboost mode (Vol-+power with USB linked).
All other things are not working (Vol-+Vol++power for example).
I can not turn off the phone too.
The phone is locked and the FRP is locked too.
I hope that you can help me :crying:

Huawei P9 Lite VNS-L21 - How to enable second sim

Hello everyone ! I own a P9 lite and its about to run out of its warranty period so its time to do something I have held back from since the day I bought this phone.
I want to enable the second sim slot on the phone but I am not quite sure how to do this.
A colleague told me I can download a file for my phone tha usually goes by the name of update.app and I can update the phone thru the boot menu.
Is this true and if it is do I need the L31 file in order to enable the second sim slot ?
I am totally new to this type of intervention I have always kept my devices stock and untouched in order to retain warranty.

P9 Lite VNS-L22 Bricked - No bootloader, don't know the cust

Hi everyone! I need some help here, I have a Huawei p9 lite VNS-l22, from my uncle, this phone is in a bootloop, after a few reboots, it enter in E-recovery mode, but don't fix the problem
I can't unlock bootloader, because, huawei stopped sending codes
Another problem that I have, is that I don't know which is the "Cust" of the phone, because, it never completely boot, so I can't see it in settings
Apparently, It entered in this "situation" during a failed update
Thanks!

Hello,
try a factory reset from e-recovery..
Yes you could unlock the bootloader via paid service,
but you cannot because you cannot access
the developer options and tick the oem unlock...
Do you remember if the device was on android 6 or 7 before the bootloop ?
Which region do you live ? (for the cust)

Don't worry dude,
we can reply when we find time for...
Important !! READ BEFORE DO ...
I made a little search and think you
have a couple possibility...
1 - bring your device to a service point but it will cost you money.
2 - try flash a firmware and pray your phone someway will come back to life...
You have nothing to lose, try doing this ...
Download THIS FILE (update.zip).
Unzip it and extract update.app file.
Take an SD card with at least 4gb and format as FAT32.
Then inside that SD card create a folder and rename it DLOAD.
Put update.app file into DLOAD folder and insert the SD inside the device.
Turn off the device then turn it on holding vol+ vol- and power buttons together
till a flash screen will appear...
If it goes well you will have a device with a corrupt but functioning firmware ...
At this point you'll be able to unlock the bootloader (it will cost 4 euros),
make a complete rebrand (asian L22 version) and have a full functioning device..
If something will not go as expected, only way is bring the device to a service point...
Choise remain yours..
Cheers

Huawei p8 lite IMEI is gone (Please help I need this device working while my new phone arrives)

Hello, this is my phone story: I had a Samsung S9 which screen died, I was thinking on getting another phone, so I bought a new phone which is going to take a while to arrive and I had no phone so i found this Huawei p8 lite laying around and I tried to get it working, but its all screwed up because some years ago I was trying to install another rom and I flashed something that I shouldn't, ended up hardbricking the device (red and green light flashing, faastboot not working) I managed to recover it by getting it into testpoint and then booting xloader & fastboot and flashing the stock firmware with a hisilicon tool, the device was alive but the IMEI was gone for good, I didn't looked much into it and leave it.
Today I wonder if I could recover the IMEI, I have the number but I don't have the partitions so I have no idea how to recover it, I have tried HCU tool to write the number without success.
If someone culd provide me the partitions or something it would be helpful.
Any Help would be very nice, Thanks!
