Not be rude, but that's just the tiny package, just the new vendor and some google stuff, no apps tho.
I have the full and tiny posted on my OP page under "VANILLA - FroShedYo."
I believe framework packed the full, I just updated a few of the apps in it.

Thanks for that workshed. I just might post some screenshots because I already took them... and hey, would you mind if you could teach me a couple of tips for making ROMs? It's no prob if you don't.
Yay i get no fC now

If I can find the time. Start reading up on what you need. Install linux (64-bit if you want to start deving Gingerbread) get the sdk, read up on github, read about git and repo sync'ing, lot's to read before you start attempting.
I'll help you with any specific questions

This is a simply guide as to how to get Adobe flash running on Nexus S 4.1.1
Note: As many of you are aware as of Jelly Bean Adobe flash is no longer officially supported
1> Download Adobe Flash Player for Android from here: http://www.mediafire.com/?mjodwbaka3tj8gd
2> Copy the .apk file to the SD card of your Nexus S device
3> Install it using a File Manager of your choice
4> Open Browser
5> Go to the Browser settings and un-check the option for Flash Player
You will now have the latest version of Flash unofficially on your Nexus S
Note: This tutorial should work with any other Android device running Jelly Bean

posting guides that you've clearly taken from posts elsewhere on the web or even here on xda, passing them off as your own and brazenly pleading for people to hit your "thanks" button is taking the piss.
You've posted guides on rooting, forcing OTA updates, and now installing flash player.
All of these were available elsewhere first, none of the work is your own, and nowhere have you acknowledged the original source of your guides.
Its called plagiarism....either stop posting, reference the original source, stop pimping for thanks or I'll report you to the mods, ok?

WOW....I try to help people and this is what I get, being accused of "plagiarism" First of all I don't copy others post's and secondly how dare you come onto a thread I created for the better good and to help others and you come on here and attempt to give it a bad name? I worked hard on my posts I try to make them as understanding and as easy to read as possible. My OTA update post I created that because JB had only just come out and not many people knew how to get it, I checked there was NO thread as to how to update it there might be now but when I posted there wasn't. Same with my root guide it contains links to files I put together no-body else did, I did. And as for the post on Adobe Flash yes that might have been more known of but it still is a useful piece of information to know. Whats wrong with asking for thanks if you have done something to help others? It doesn't cost nothing and it is just a simple click, it helps to build ones reputation. Please do know you facts next time. Go search I even dare you and find posts that have the same information I put up but before I posted them. MyPhone.gr an online Greek mobile support forum has used several of my posts. Did they give me credit? No they didn't. Do I care? No I don't as long as it helps others I don't care if others use my posts. Please don't come onto my posts again with no beneficial information and accuse me of this and that. I will have you reported.
Good day to you,
AlanS181824

Alan,
I dare Pal.
You post other people's ideas and work and claim it for your own. You should at least reference where you got your information from as its clearly not your own.
The least you're guilty of is being too "unimaginative" to Google and to see that (amazingly coincidentally) there are already almost identical posts already on XDA or other forums (posted before yours) containing your guides.
The worst you're guilty of is claiming the credit for other people's work.
So what's it to be, incompetence or dishonesty?
ps. I welcome the chance to exchange some date-stamped links with the mod. The evidence won't lie > this one posted on 15 July is almost identical to the post you're claiming the credit for yesterday the 25th http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1774336

Thank u.
Maybe he is just new and little bit 2 "thanks" hungry, but he definitely needs 2 focus on using search button...
Greg, I wouldn't mind if he just said "hey guys this isn't my work, I spotted it elsewhere, thanks are due too xxxxx" but he just passes stuff off as his own. Its so blatant and he's very pushy on the "thank me"s. I spotted his other threads before and ignored them, but this one is just too blatant and too much, I had to say something. Very obvious after a bit of googling

I have done that mod on cm7 if you read through the thread you can see my responses so I know it works on cm7 if done correctly although the guide has changed since the last time I looked at it
If you cant get it to work then take a logcat and ask the op to look at it
Also make sure you flash your mod on a fresh copy of cm7 - using things like link2sd and other mods which alter the policy may cause a bootloop - You can test this by wiping data and seeing if the phone boots then

Could someone please be so nice and help me out. I admit i haven't looked to much into it as i need it asap.
The problem, i purchased this phone believing it has a international ROM and that i would have google, playstore,... on it. This is not the case.
All i want is to flash a compatible ROM which will have all of that included.
Hope someone could post a direct link to a ROM which would be compatible and meet the requirements, i have screwed up a mate 8 not to long ago with a wrong ROM so trying to avoid doing the same.
TIA

It's been so long since you posted, you may have sorted your problem or may not even have the phone anymore, but anyway have just seen the post and wanted to tell you that even though it's a Chinese import with no play store, you don't have to flash a new ROM to get the Play store, you can just download Google Play Services and Google Play apk's and install them. After that you will have the Play store installed. It's the same thing with Gmail.
If you search for Gaps (Google Apps) you can download them all in one go. Unzip and install the apk's.
Eric.

Huawei phones have great hardware and bad software. The fingerprint reader was and still is the fastest on the market. I wouldn't get a Huawei again though due to locked Bootloader and locked everything.

Hopefully everyone can share the root apps working, workarounds and their respective discussions

I believe it is as long as you don't pull out too much bass which might clip or distort the sound.
Some phones come with a weak volume setting by software, that might result in a compressed sound the higher you push up which I don't like, so better have your mixers_patch or whatever it is now to manually set the value as loud as you like.

For me it worked pretty straight forward on my N986N.
Did you use the patched kernel provided by Dr Ketan to root your device?
Did Viper ask to grant permissions at first launch?

he removed it and put news instructions, to create own which I did
But ur model is N986N - its different than 9860
got Viper working after re-rooting
Download latest Viper4Android
Install - When it ask to download drivers, DONT
Open Magisk and install Audio Modifications Library
Open Viper4Android again
This time press OK > Give rights > Let it install driver
Reboot ( Mine did it 3 times to install ) but it did
After that check the status > Mine was Processing = NO
You can test by playing audio and pick headphone etc and see if Status Changes
Mine did not so I followed XDA post abt this
Steps are ( Need Root Exploer )
Goto data/adb/modules/aml/system/etc and give RW permissions to audio_effects.conf - MOVE it to data/adb/modules/aml/vendor/etc
Reboot and is all good
I've not needed to root in YEARS, Last Samsung phone I rooted was the S7. What are the advantages these days? obv I'd lose Knox secure folder, which is shall we say handy and Samsung Pay. Last I checked Google Pay worked using MagiskHide module part of Magisk
Viper4android is working with no tricks
Everything else
does this phone work on verizon? 4g?
i don't care about 5g.
