I dont know if this is the correct keybord that i am looking for,but i am having problem at the time of installation.
at the time of installation it shows installation failed . so i want the developers to look into my problem and show me a way how to install that.
Note-: i have already tried by putting the app into the system apps list.
i got this keyboard is from tesla v3.3 rom user,...that is the native keyboard(tesla number row aosp)
i cant give the link for the keyboard...developers are requested to port the keyboard of tesla v3.3 rom for redmi 2
Hope the problem will be solved...

which keyboard you talking about be specific! and what problem you are facing give a brief information about that. i mean you can not install what, which keyboard? properly state your problem, if possible i would assist.
i dont know the particular name of the keyboard. but that was the default aosp keyboard i used in tesla v3.3 rom(for redmi 2).some of my friends told that may be the keyboard's name is "number-row aosp keyboard".
and they also gave me the apk file of that keyboard...installation was successful.but after enabling it boom it just crashes i think....and also after that keyboard is not coming....
Afterall i want to say that i need the default aosp keyboard of tesla rom for redmi 2

download extractor here. you should have jdk(java installed),and python is optional tho.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BxGRG9YXw62rQzFDajBVWXNvVmc/view?usp=sharing
Unzip any rom you wish and then select system.new.dat,file_contexts.bin,system.transfer.list but you should rename file_contexts.bin to file_context and copy to the folder where you have extracted the above software. And run extractor.bat
and follow the on screen instructions. you would get the extracted apk and stuff inside a system folder.

yes, its the default keyboard.
Just simply flash this https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/aosp-keyboard-android-6-0-1-r3-t3266333
And don't forget to delete LatinIME folder on system before you flash it.

hi guys, i would ask all the developers if is possible to modify the standard android dialer adding T9 search for contacts (like MIUI dialer / YOULU / DIALER ONE). Could someone create a flashable zip (I'm using DeFrost 6.1a)?
Thank you for your hard work.
any luck with this?
I'm also interested in this function, as I found that Youlu and Dialer One to be rather slow...
bump...
I'd also really like this feature. T9 style contact searching within the dialer is just about the only thing I miss from Sense now that I'm running CM7, and I'm not a fan of any of the dialer / contacts replacements that include it. They're all just...ugly, imo, compared to the stock dialer.

This is added in post cm7.1 builds. Perhaps just installing contacts.apk from those kangs would work for cm7.1 official release. Will you try? I can provide apk.

I like the simplistic CM7 T9 dialer, works very well for me. However, the phone reverts back to the original non-T9 dialer when rebooted. Any suggestion how to permanently keep the T9 dialer?

Yes.
First backup your original apk file.
It is inside /system/app
Then copy new file and paste it in /system/app (over old one).
Set unix/linux permissions on newly copied file as rw-r--r--.
Reboot phone.
Use some root capable file manager such as Root Browser Lite or ES File Explorer.

Hi friends,
This is Chinese stock rom, which has some additional features like:
Voice wake up,
Voice commands like S Voice or Siri,
Online Song albums (Chinese)
Online Ringtones
GiONEE Browser,
Color modes,
Lock screen news widget (Chinese)
& More!
It is PRE-ROOTED.
This is an OLDER VERSION SV 1.1 But you will instantly be able to update it to SV 2.2 from system updates.
It is perfectly stable. But since it's Chinese, your system folders will be in Chinese language.
See following pictures to get idea.
YOU WILL NEED CWM RECOVERY TO INSTALL THIS.
I highly recommend backing up your stock rom before flashing anything.
Go to following thread to download and install it:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=50320511
Rom can be downloaded from following link:
(Click on the button with '557.18M' Then click WHITE button on the RIGHT of BLUE button :good
http://pan.baidu.com/s/1hqgcEos
Install instructions:
1) Copy zip to phone memory
2) Boot CWM Recovery
3) Wipe User data/ Factory reset
4) Wipe Cache
5) Advanced/Wipe Dalvik
6) Install zip from /sd card
7) Select Zip
8) Do Hula Dance
9) Reboot!

It's on par with the Indian version after you install the OTA update. Better in sense it has. Some additional features that I have listed above that were stripped from Indian version. One more feature it has GiONEE keyboard instead of regular Google keyboard.

go to rom\META-INF\com\google\android\ and open updater-script in notepad. you will find in the first line same verbatim as the error received during flash. delete the line and save the file. it is a tedious process to unzip and then zip again, but this is the only way i know. also, dont flash gapps, there is an option to chane language in the settings. in the last section of settings look for chinese character preceeded by "A". click on it and select english. best of luck. Cmon someone, this phone is crying out for cm 12.

As OP in this thread wrote I'm kinda in the same situation (on Pardus rom) and would like to revert G3 keyboard to G2 as I find it more functional for me.
Found an downloadable/installable apk but that just throws back at me "app is not installed". Any found a solution?

Thnx, tried the variant with the apk I downloaded but this didn't work. Keyboard doesn't show up in settings after reboot. Also renamed the G2 apk the same as G3 and backed up the G3 LGEIME.apk. Reboots in between didn't help. The phone just locks up when launching whatever app that utilize keyboard.
Will try your mentioned solution and download a stock rom with G2 keyboard. Getting back with results later.
Nope, extracting the LGEIME.apk (G2 keyboard) from Lightning Rom v3.0 (replacing, permissions and reboot) didn't do it either. The keyboard now just disappears.
Does anyone know how to get the option to save your OWN word when writing? I use the "phone keyboard" and not the qwerty one when writing and really dislike having to go into setting to add words not found in the dictionary (and yes I've updated it). Found that option in G2 but not in G3 keyboard, being able to save new words on-the-fly.

Idk what version Lightening ROM is (KK or jb) but you need to make sure to use the proper version of the keyboard (ie, if you're on KK it needs to be the KK LG keyboard apk, if on jb it needs to be jb LG keyboard apk). If you used the correct version then idk what else would work.
4shared,
Just search google keybord,

Hi guys, after the CM 11S was ported to our loved Nexus 5, the only app that I like from this firmware is Screencast..
Very simple to use and seems bug-free..
The only difference from the CM11S, is that to start the app, we dont have any buttons shortcut (on the OpO you can press VolUp+Power).
I dont have modified anything.. Extracted from rom zip..
Tested on Nexus 5 CM11 nightly 07-18-2014 - stock CM kernel
APK Download and screenshots in atch section down here..
Flashable Zip HERE
Thanks to @vin4yak
How to install:
- Copy the APK to \system\priv-app\
- Set correct permissions
- Reboot
I'm not responsable for any damage to your devices.
Backup-Backup-Backup.. And remember, Backup!!..
All credits go to @P4R for his CM 11S ported for Nexus 5 - Thread link
PS. I hope I have not broken any rule.. in case, let me know..
Thanks, tested on pa 4.5 alpha2 and works

I hate Android default folders location
I think its mainly because these apps are ported from phones with no ExtSD to begin with so the feature is useless.
