Stuck in Odin Mode - Samsung Galaxy Core Prime Questions & Answers

Hi all.
I tried to install a new recovery SM-G360H in a SM-G360F with Odin. After that, the phone doesn't boot, it always stays stucked at Download Mode / Odin Mode. Actually, I think it isn't Download Mode really because Odin doesn't recognize it (and because it shows Samsung Galaxy Core Powered by Android as background), althought it does if I turn it on holding volume down + home + power (in this way it shows the android's logo as background). Of course, the recovery hasn't changed at all. At the moment I have tried:
-wiping the battery and the cards
-installing another recovery with Odin (the correct one this time)
-wiping cache partition
-wiping data/factory reset (I get this error while Formatting /sbfs.. -> E: unknown volume for path [/sbfs], E: unknown volume "/sbfs". But finally log says "Data wipe complete" anyways)
-holding many differents combinations of volume up/down + home + power trying to reset the phone to factory, without result. Not sure if I have test all the combinations.
*Drivers installed
*USB Debugging enabled
So... What am I supposed to do? Should I start to consider my phone bricked?
Thanks!

@maximetinu Well, I guess it's time to buy a new phone or try giving it to a service centre, but there are very less chances of it getting fixed. No matter how similar a device looks or haves the same hardware or software NEVER flash a ROM or recovery which is not specifically made for a certain device.

No problem, u say that odin won't recognize your phone, do you have the phone drivers installed if not install kies 2.6.4, and get an original rom from sammobile.com or you can just let kies fix it for you (connect the phone go to tools then click emergency frimware upgrade)

When I plug the phone to computer,I don't get any response

Hi,I have two big issuses:
1.I turn on my phone, and minutes later my phone can't output audio.
Explanation:
I can't hear music,videos,games.
I enter to Sound settings -> Volume
I check Incoming call,works.
I check Media,doesn't work.

I check Notification,works.
And if I turn off the screen by pressing the power button, most of the time the screen sticks and I must restart my phone by holding the power button because my battery will end quickly. The phone sticks in my wallpaer.
I change ROM and no success with this issuse.
2.When I plug my phone to computer, the phone respone with notification sound but no notification message about turn on my storage(usb debugging is marked)
and no respone in computer.
The same when usb debugging is unmarked-Samsung Kies can't find my phone(the MTP application works in my phone).
I try with anthor cable or computer and no respone.

I try to wipe data/cache , no change.
Help?
Thanks.
Sounds like you have lost CWM and gone back to stock recovery, you may have to flash CF-Root again to get CWM recovery. Then you might be able to Data wipe and flash another rom.

[Q] Tab cannot normally boot (stuck in unwanted Factory mode)

Hi!
Galaxy tab 6800. There was rooted stock firmware.
Someday somehow it become not responding, and I pressed power button for some seconds. Unexpectedly, instead of just rebooting, the Tab went into some downloading mode (quite the same as ODIN mode, except that I had a word "Factory" instead of "Odin"). In this state I can only do the following:
1. Hold Power = Factory mode
2. Hold Power+Volume Up = Factory mode
3. Hold Power+Volume Down = Flash OS invite screen, then Volume Up = Odin mode, or Volume Down = Factory mode
__NO Power off, NO Recovery__
So several times I flashed FW's with ODiN both rooted and stock (stock based, not to touch the counter). Everytime right after flashing, Tab normally booted into Android, so I could get to Recovery menu, and I've made all the available format/wipe procedures, flashed again, but every time I tried to power off the Tab, I got rebooted into this odd Factory mode.
Once I have read that one drained his battery and got out of this dead loop. But that was not my case. Firstly it worked, but after I once got working power off and recovery it again rebooted instead of shutting down...
Please, HELP!

If you can get into flashing a stock rom,( without installing CWM ) then get into the recovery of ODIN , and wipe data/factory reset from there, probably you have data corruption.

Just wanted to make sure you meant ODIN recovery & not CWM recovery.
Update. After a couple of days the problem still persists. But for some reason (surely, I flashed and formatted the tab several times during this issue) it became possible to switch to recovery mode after some attempts, though it wasn't yesterday. So I don't need to drain the battery or to connect to PC in order to just power-cycle the device. I can say that it's usable now

[Q] SG-s5 SM-G900P Soft brick: endless recovery loop

I just got an S5 and was trying just to get the wireless tethering for free into my phone. I installed the CWM and booted into that recovery the other day, and did extensive research for a few hours before settling on this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2727127 to try to do it. Since it's a sprint S5 (900p) I downloaded it and everything. However, I went into the clockwork app to boot into recovery (the 5.x.x.x settingwas used) it simply is locked in a cycle of "RECOVERY BOOTING... RECOVER IS NOT SEANDROID ENFORCING... Set Recovery Bit: recovery" I have tried to get it into the download reboot but key combinations (vol up, home, power) don't seem to have any effect. Also, Kies and adb as well as odin all do not "see" my phone connected to the pc while it loops. Only time loop stops is when the battery is out.
Managed to get it into dowload, and now am put this recovery instead, as it should work under the guide I'm using. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2697762

Please use more paragraphs next time, that was hard to read.
We would need a lot more detail to know what went wrong, but the first thing to try when you have a bootloop is to wipe the system cache from recovery mode
recovery mode: pull battery and any USB cable for 10 seconds
Then replace battery, press and continue to hold volume up + home + power
Let go of the keys when you see the recovery screen.
Wipe cache from the recovery on screen menu
Then reboot normally
If you still cannot boot normally, reboot to download mode again
download mode: pull battery and any USB cable for 10 seconds
Then replace battery, press and continue to hold volume down + home + power
Let go of the keys when you see the download screen.
Use Odin to flash a full stock firmware image..
same version as you have on the phone now (not older) to stabilize your phone.
If you still have problems, those are most likely caused by a borderline USB cable.
Try a different cable and USB port.
.
hes asking for help not asking for a grammer check....
1 thing is very annoying are grammer queens... chill....

Can't get to download mode after "error occurred while updating device SW". s7 edge

Can't get to download mode after "error occurred while updating device SW". s7 edge
While trying to upgrade my Claro galaxy s7 edge from android 6.0 to 7.0 using Smart Switch my phone crashed and the software got corrupted. (couldn't do it through manual/automatic update).
Now i'm stuck on the Window : "An error has occurred while updating the device software. Use the emergency recovery function in the Smart Switch PC software". I tried both the emergency Software Recovery and Device Initialization but both failed with error "failed to run firmware upgrade unknown error occurred". Tried it in different computer, restarting both the devices, reinstalling device driver. Nth worked.
Finally i searched forums and tried to flash custom rom using ODIN. Thing is while downloading the ROM my phone went to Download mode when i pressed "Volume up" + Power + Home button but now the combination just does nothing and i'm stuck on the "An error has occured window". I tried 300k tool and also Both volume + power + slide in usb cable combo but nth happened. I tried to install custom rom through ODIN while in this window but ti fails after 2 mins too.
Also Pressing Volume down Power and home (recovery mode) brings me to this same window again and again. Just waiting for the battery to die and start anew.
Just 4 days with my phone. Any help to solve these problem are appreciated.

I am having the same issue after trying to flash updated ROM on my S8 via Odin. Process got to the end and said 'FAIL'. Following the reboot, I was stuck on the 'An error has occurred...' screen and every attempt to enter Download mode or recovery mode (By quickly switching to the volume up button in between reboots, as you stated) has failed. Smart Switch is not recognising my device either despite all the correct Samsung USB drivers being installed. Any ideas anyone?
Apologies for posting here on S7 forum but the problem is identical.
Did you ever fix this? I have the same problem now

Galaxy Core Prime system update corrupted?

My phone did an automatic system update earlier, and when it turned back on a bunch of my apps were missing, so I restarted it again to see if I could get them to boot properly (it's happened like that before). Then it wouldn't turn on all the way, it just kept cycling between the three power on/off screens for several hours. I tried wiping the cache several times and rebooting from the recovery screen, then a factory reset and reboot, but every time I try it brings up a bunch of error messages display, mostly E: failed to mount/cache (Invalid argument); E: can't mount/cache/recovery/last_recovery; E: can't mount/cache/recovery/log; and E: can't open/cache/recovery/log.
Any idea what I can do to at least turn my phone back on?
Thank you!

Try downloading Samsung Switch on a PC. It has an emergency recovery mode. It should see it when you plug it in via USB.
You may need to restart it in download mode, with powering off, then pressing vol down, home and power together until it loads up into a menu. Then press vol up to confirm it.
Now plug it in with USB cable. Select More from Switch and then the Emergency recovery option. Your device should show up. Then you should be able reset the firmware.
