Screen does not turn on

Hi
I have a problem with my sgs.
Since yesterday the screen does not turn on anymore.
I tried everything. I even flashed a new firmware with odin. Nothing happens. Then the same with KIES but still the screen is black. The phone works. But with normal boot, download mode and recovery I can't see anything.
So now I wan't to try a full reset. And this is the point where I need your help. I flashed the speedmod kernel. And I want to boot into recovery and do a hardware reset.
Could anyone of you post screenshot from the recovery menu so I can navigate through it. And please tell me what vol up / down means in the navigation. That would be fantastic.

the rom was the official samsung rom. updated with kies.

help with iris 504q+

I installed a new boot animation using rom toolbox pro on my lava iris 504q+
now i m stuck on boot logo
but still it rings on recieving calls and message...
there is no cwm or custom recovery or custom rom that could help me
pls help...i m a newbie
please provide the stock rom for iris 504q+

Mate,
Don't panic and do something which bricks your phone. Try to hard reset your phone after removing your external memory card, since during factory reset, all data will be erased, including internal memory and the phone will become brand new as it was in the box, when you bought it... try different key combinations for this, it's only a try..
Switch of your phone, and press volume up key and power key for 5 seconds, you will get an android screen with no command display.. keep pressing the power key, it enters recovery, from recovery, do wipe data\factory reset and then reboot your phone....

when i purchased 504q+, it was already updated to KitKat, but it was not rooted.
I tried many apps but it was not getting rooted.
But i did it through Kingoroot ,
and when checked by Root Checker Pro, it says that mobile is successfully rooted. :good:

i too briked but cant enter recovery...what to do?
I mistakenly updated wrong boot file...now I cant revert it back
any other way to reset ?

Only way is to flash the original ROM file of 4.1.2 and then upgrade it to 4.4.2, by downloading the update zip files from lava's website.

this is my first time on here and my first android phone,
i need your help, i had a rooted note 4 4.4.4 snapdragon phone i wanted to reset it all, but when i did all i get now is a recovery booting..... message and then installing system update..... and its flashing all the time, its been stuck on there for 2 hours and i have restarted it, tried the volume home and power button but nothing is working ,
please help

Pull the battery. Then boot into recovery . [press and hold simultaneously Volume Up, Home and Power/Release the buttons when the screen flickers and then wait for the Recovery Mode main screen to appear.]
Choose wipe data/clear cache. That shouldt do it

i tried all that the only thing to work was reflashing root on to it, i don't know if that was a good thing or not but at the moment its working, and restarting fine,

You will have to flash the update using Samsung kies on your computer. Your Knox will be tripped since you've flashed cf auto root, so carrier OTA updates won't work (even if you unroot)

[Q] D802 won't boot after install twrp

Hello guys, need some help here. I am new to LG G2 but have been rooting and flashing before on other devices.
So... model is D802 - Croatia, was simlocked to TELE2 but today i bought that key and unlocked it. Then i rooted and root checker said it was all OK. Then i downloaded AutoRec (D802_AutoRec.apk) and flashed TWRP 2.7.0.0 and hit go to recovery. And i can't boot since. I managed to push files to sd via ADB (i pushed some small txt file just to check). When use key combination to go to recovery it always goes first to factory reset. Then if i chose not to reset i get black screen with leds blinking green and blue. If i factory reset it resets and enters recovery. I can also enter download mode. i am guessing this is just some soft brick?
What should i do? can i just wipe all and install custom rom? i downloaded some custom 5.0.2 rom which i plan to flash. Can i use this or should i go to stock. If stock... which kdz should i get? Please help me out here, or point me where to look.
update: i managed to push complete rom zip file to internal storage and i can see it in recovery file manager. just waiting for advice now before wipe and flash.

Flash 5,0,2 it's OK but you need to flash gapps too. Wipe everything but not internal storage.

Why is it when i go to recovery it always goes to factory reset first and i can only enter recovery if i actually reset it. This should not be normal behavior because you would have to factory reset it each time when you go to recovery. Could it be that recovery is not installed properly although i don't see anything strange in recovery itself?
Update: This does not answer factory reset question but just to inform that i flashed crDroid ROM and it works OK by the first look. One thing that i notice that is not working as it should is that phone wakes on shaking and it won't go to sleep on double tap screen. How to fix this?

This push to factory rese does nothing it is still implemened from the sock recovery the wake on shake is due to the feaure wake on lift you can disable it somewhere in the options. Diuble ap 2 sleep only works on statusbar with aosp rom stock launcher

OK i found this lift to wake and its ok now.
So this means that on crDroid i can't use double tap to sleep anywhere on screen?

Use a custom launcher like nova or solo and you can add it

[Q] Back and Multitasking buttons stopped working

I was uninstalling some apps to get ready to back up and flash my phone because my microphone volume was stuck at minimum and no one could hear me. After rebooting my back and multitask (menu) button won't light up or respond. This has happened to me before occasionally. I could fix it by powering the screen off and back on. I believe I read somewhere it had something to do with xposed.
I tried flashing using MOP and my buttons didn't come back so I loaded a TWRP, wiped all partitions, rebooted in download mode and flashed with regular ODIN. Still can't get the buttons to function. Home button works just fine, though.
I tried finding a solution to this but I can't seem to find one. I had the same issue intermittently on my Galaxy S4 but I fixed it by wiping the partitions and reflashing. G900R4 USC variant.

So I went into stock recovery and did a factory reset. It was already as wiped as it could possibly get afaik but I thought I'd try just to see. My buttons lit up in stock recovery so I knew they were getting power. I did a factory reset and low and behold upon reboot my buttons came back.
Did I fix it or is there a circuit starting to fail on my phone and it was just luck? I'm curious.
