Which device, rom, version did you have? Did you tried charging with other cables or power adaptors? Can you boot your rom or at least recovery or bootloader?
Rooting won't break charging capabilities cause you flash a recovery and su binaries and not a low level firmware when doing right. What method for rooting you're using?

I have Motorola RAZR m with unlocked Bootloder And philz
Recovery installed.
Its woks fine in stock ROMs but when I install any ROM it
Just reboots.........
I tried many ROM but problem is same.....and yes when I
Connected RAZR m to PC it was working fine.......
Give me solution........ And thanks in advance...

Gonna need more details. What bootloader are you on? KK or JB? What ROMs are you trying? Have you tried TWRP recovery or CWM?

I am using kk bootlder which is unlocked..
I tired philz and twrp recovery mod.
I try number of ROMs like,
Cm 12
Blisspop
4.4.4 ROMs
But on charge they all starts reeboting.......

Have you changed you data partition to ext4? Do this in advanced wipe on TWRP by clicking format data.
Have you wiped ALL partitions?

I don't live next to my phone to write replies 24/7... To wipe all partitions in TWRP, go to Wipe, advanced wipe and select everything but external sd.

So it reboots only when you plug it into the wall? You can get it to boot into the OS after flashing?

It keep on rebooting on any ROM but in stok it works perfect.....,.

So, I'm currently running cloudyg2 2.2, and I'm thinking about downgrading back to stock and then taking the OTA to lollipop, but I haven't heard anyone mention if it is possible to retain root through the update process, or to obtain root afterwards. It'd be great if there was a flashable zip, but I don't know if that's possible at the moment.
You can get root again. Its a script in the development forum.
If you do this can you make a twrp backup of the stock lollipop rom and upload it? (since you'll essentially be pure stock anyway).

No, all on-device roots are patched with Lollipop (unless you have a custom recovery, which is unobtainable on stock lollipop for the d800 as far as I know)
Use the one that requires PC. If you run into issues, pm me or reply to me on this thread.

root is easy, and ill confirm about bump recovery in 30 mins, charging phone for any re flashing required.
recovery is good to go now autorec for specific model at playstore.
Please upload flashable zip of this official AT&T lollipop.

I updated mine 2 days ago and it worth it... My cellphone is fliying, great battery life in comparision to KK
I just Rooted my D800 running stock lollipop with this tool :

Yes for lollipop. Sorry was really excited... I am running lollipop rooted with twrp installed.. If the 1 click apps don't work for u.. Try the manual mode the guy posted a few posts back.. Then run autorec from play store. For your variant

you should be on download mode
download mode should be working with drivers and all.

That's what I did. Just remember to untick the reboot box. Otherwise the stock recovery will overwrite TWRP.

I have rooted my note 4 running 5.1.1 with super SU and SpaceX-Kernel-v0.2 by flashing TWRP then the kernel then the super SU
everything goes fine until now
but when i install an app or update one uninstall it the phone restarts after the installation or uninstallton immediately
tried wipe the cache but then it entered into a bootloop and i had to install the official FW again and reroot again
and then again the same
what can i do or is there a CFW to be stable and not giving this headache!?
Note:
I used an uninstaller to remove some apps that i don't need like evernote ,S-pin and ANT+.....ect
So what did i do wrong
Please advise and help!!!

Why don't you just flash a MM 6.0 rom and save yourself the trouble?

Since its 910C, it should be easy.
But remember, there is always a risk of bricking the phone.

so i have searched for it and can't find other than the 6.0.1 and i don't think there is a root yet for it

Actually my phone downloaded the update and keep asking me to install it but i keep canceling it and it keeps asking
But how can root it if i upgraded to 6.0.1?

There is a good chance that autoroot for 5.1.1 will works for 6.0.1
It happens with autoroot for 910H.
Or, you can just flash twrp using odin, flash bootloader using odin, and this rom using twrp.
