It is possible a Dual Boot on this device? - Moto G4 Play Questions & Answers

Hello all,
Sorry for such a newbie question: It is possible to have a dual boot on Moto G4 play?

I don't think we can yet, since i haven't seen any dualboot utillities so far.

If MultiRom makes it's way over then yes, was a very nice thing to have back when I had an HTC M7 and tested out different ROMs. Who knows, we might end up seeing it at some point in time in the future.

Newbie Questions!

Hi everyone. So, this week my LG G2 is arriving and as i don't like stock roms cause of its bloatware and stuff, i want to make the processes to change to a good, smooth and fast ROM to get the maximum performance of this amazing phone.
i'm not a newbie on changing roms, but i AM newbie on this device. my old one was a motorola razr HD xt925 which for start i had to unlock bootloader to be able to flash any custom roms...so i gotta ask here, cause i didnt find a good thread for this (IF there is one, please post here!)
1 - is it needed to unlock bootloader first?
2 - when the phone arrives, what are the processes to direclty flash a custom rom?
3 - idk if this kind of question is allowed, but is there a ROM that stands out for better performance of the device? i like to play high graphic games!
obs: it's a D805.
for now that's it.
thanks guys!

Wear 2.0 and 1st gen devices

Since 1st gen devices aren't getting 2.0, is it possible to install a custom ROM (possibly based off the software of a second gen device)? There's never been a real need for a custom ROM before since we got all updates. The only need was to customize for the hell of it. Anyway, does anyone out there know of anything in development?

Custom Rom Nexus 6p

Hey guys I have a quick question. I'm thinking about buying a 6P and I can't help but to be paranoid about all of the bootloop issues I'm hearing about. The thing is, it seems that this only happens with the official update(at least that's what I think). If I buy the phone(used) and flash a custom rom, will that be a way to avoid this bootloop issue?
Only some models are experiencing the bootloops issues (I don't know what about the Official PA), otherwise, you'll have a great number of some of the best custom roms (Resurrection remix, purenexus, lineage...) & kernels (elementalX, franco, flash...) and you can choose what's best for you.
I can also say, that the N6P has an amazing camera for taking great photos, and is just a great android phone.
Personnaly I'm on the android O developer preview 3 since more than a mounth, and I can say that it's running great with a good battery life and smooth animations.
Ok thanks. I guess I'll flash the custom rom as soon as I get it just to be on the safe side. The camera caught my attention. It's basically why I'm upgrading from my Oneplus One.

Why doesn't encryption work with any Nougat based ROM?

For as long as Nougat based ROMs are a thing I've been asking devs why the encryption doesn't work but so far I got no answer. This is pretty much the most important feature of a smartphone, of any computer really, but seemingly nobody cares. So, what's going on? And why aren't there any explanations?
That has been the problem with nougat roms in zuk z1 since its launch. So either use lollipop or marshmallow roms for encryption to work. Not many users out there use encrytion. So devs have stopped working on that part of issue. Hope you got ur answer. ☺☺

Have a custom rom or android 8.0 for sony xa1 ultra please send me plzplz PLZ PLZ PLZ

:fingers-crossed:
Hii
For now there is NO ROM for the device...
And if you look on google
And If you look on xda
Every Xperia X Series model has no support for custom rom
The best one is xperia X performance model becouse it has like 4-5 custom roms
The other phones of the X series only have some of stock modified kernel's
So, another thing is
The Xperia XA Ultra model from 2016 ( Last year old model )
Has after more then one year not even one custom rom
Wich means that if we get even stock kernel it will be amazing
I do not think there will be custom rom for our model
The best would be modified stock roms and kernels..
But, the good thing is we will get Oreo.. with the new things it brings
But it still will be looking like the same as now Nougat look like and will
have some nice new features like picture in picture mode and other stuff..
So, I hope I have answer you question to get a custom rom from anyone here..
Next time
Do your homework
before even buying some phone and then
wanting all the custom roms and root and bla bla bla
Google is a good thing you know
