Hi All,
My Windows 7 (x86) computer is not installing the MOT driver correctly, as can be seen below there is a yellow exclamation mark next to the driver.

Originally I had a Samsung driver installed in this capacity, and I removed it by right clicking the device (in Device Manager) and selecting uninstall. Later I was able to coerce the computer into accepting the Motorola Driver for the 'MOT' device.
However the Motorola driver is still presenting issues which I would now like to resolve. I really need to run RSDLite so I have not choice but to fix this issue (i.e.: I cannot boot of Linux as an alternative).
Any help with resolving this driver issue will be greatly appreciated.
Kind Regards,
Davo
Further to my original post I have now uninstalled the Motorola Drivers from the package which I used originally 'Motorola_PreRelease_Mobile_Drivers_5.9.1_32bit.msi', and installed the 'MotorolaDeviceManager_2.5.4.exe' software from Motorola.
Now when I connect my RAZR M in Fastboot Mode I see the following messages -
Shortly afterwards Windows fails to install a driver, as shown below -

wen i tried to fastboot it showed waiting for device..
i even tried updating my drivers bt its nt working plz help..
Do you have a ROM with Fastboot and drivers ?
yes..i have
You dont have all the drivers installed , you are missing one specific that makes your phone be recognized in fastboot mode...
Download Drivers for your computer recognize the phone in fastboot mode. Unzip and put the files inside the folder in C:\android-sdk (take a look of the 3th image)
INSTALL WITH YOUR PHONE PLUGGED:

i have windows xp.. still nt solved the problem
I've installed fastboot, and it can communicate fine with the phone, but I can't seem to get the MSM8994DownloadTool tool to do anything, I run it as admin and click the Start button... and some text changes on all the rows and nothing, no progress bar nothing for hours.
I was first trying to do this via a VMware VM (on Mac) but read somewhere that, that doesn't work, so now I'm using the installed Windows 10 bootcamp, but doesn't seem to help. (edit, I have now found out that it doesn't matter, and it seems to work just fine in a VM or desktop computer)
I've also disabled the Driver signature enforcement feature on Windows 10.
I installed the Oneplus 2 driver that comes on the phone when it's running Android.
As you can see I have no Ports section, only the MarshallLondon Device, which is what disappears when I unplug the phone while in fastboot mode.

I'm using the "full Oxygen OS 150805 restoration package" linked here http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-2/general/oneplus-solution-hard-bricked-device-t3183449
I've seen a youtube video, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ARyaWKpRz3U&feature=youtu.be&t=4m5s and he has the device in the Ports sub item in the Device Manager, where as I seem to get this "Marshall London Bootloader Interface", which when you try and update with the driver provided in the opt2 zip says it is already up to date.
PS, the whole reason I'm using this downloadtool is because the phone's recovery doesn't work and it's OEM locked.
Anyone have any ideas where I'm going wrong?
Any suggestions would be very welcome
Edit
Well solved this issue (though the phone still doesn't work).
Turns out somehow I missed the critical step, you don't want to be in fastboot mode, you want this other mode, which you can get to by having the phone off, then pressing vol up and plugging in the USB.
Or plug in the phone USB and hold down vol up and power for about 30 seconds, or until you see (hear) a device show up in the Device manager, most likely with a question mark, unless you;ve already installed the drivers for it..
Hey guys, I'm having issue trying to unbrick my Axon 7.
Trying to boot my phone at all gives me this issue no matter the mode:

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
This happens before everything, so I can't enter recovery, DFU, nor FTM.
And EDL mode seems to be broken as the red light indicator stays on and device is detected as this
Xiaomi Flash, Axon7Toolkit, and this doesn't see the device
On my second working Axon 7 the device manager detects it properly as 9008, so I assume that my drivers are installed properly.
Any other ways of unbricking?
EDIT:
I've also tried the 4th category brick repair but it always ends up in
catastrophic failure 0x8000ffff
Guess I'm ****ed huh?
Have you tried the DFU multi tool from @raystef66 ?

Yes, I did. But my QUSB_DRIVER had a warning sign so it wasn't detected by it.
@iampro17: You say that the QUSB_DRIVER had a warning sign. Go to Device Management in Windows 10 and post the exact error/warning here. To get there:
Hold Windows key then tap R key
Type in "devmgmt.msc" without quotes
Right click on QUSB_BULK driver
Make sure you run the DFU multitool in Win 7 compatibility if you are running Win 8 or Win 10.
It seems to have a conflict if it's not on Win 7
You will also get the device disconnected status.
Hi, guys here i have suggestion for someone who face MTP issue on lavender or any other android devices
so let's start
First install system drivers that control usb serial/comport etc! using (Driver booster)
Determining your device is correctly attach to pc or not
Go to > Device manager
For checking ADB device
Device manager > Android Device > Device name if any error in drivers you see warning icon on left side !
For checking MTP device
Device manager > Portable device if any error in drivers device show in (other devices with name MTP)
For checking Qualcomm device like(Lavender)
Device manager > if qualcomm driver installed you see device name in portable devices.
if not then you see like ( SDM660-MTP _SN:XXXXXXXX ) ,this in other devices or in usb hub with warning icon!
See your device is listed in correctly driver install or not
if installed maybe you can see
Second install drivers for lavender use (qualcomm driver)
adb drivers (https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...vers-15-seconds-adb-installer-v1-4-3.2588979/)
MOD EDIT:
NEW Guide
Download that tool that help you to modify Drivers
Open It select your device

In mine case it works properly
My Poco M3 Pro was not showing on the xiaomi batch unlock tool, I tried lots and lots of things. I followed https://developer.android.com/studio/run/oem-usb and thus downloaded the rar from here https://web.vip.miui.com/page/info/mio/mio/detail?postId=18464849&app_version=dev.20051 and extracted and tried to install with Windows Device Manager and got this:
Windows encountered a problem installing drivers for your device
Windows found drivers for your device but encountered an error while attemping to install them
Android ADB interface
The hash for the file is not present in the specified catalog file. The file is likely corrupt of the victim of tampering
I also tried running the batch unlocker as admin, tried installing the google usb driver from Android Studio, and tried re-entering fastboot mode many times, and with different cables

Well, I downloaded an older MiUi Unlock tool that is listed here: https://c.mi.com/thread-2262302-1-0.html. I tried this one http://miuirom.xiaomi.com/rom/u1106245679/4.5.514.47/miflash_unlock-en-4.5.514.47.zip and it has an option (in the gear settings icon) to install the drivers. I clicked on it, installed the drivers, and then gone back to the latest version of the unlock tool, and it recognized the phone!
PS: if this does not work try updating the MiUi to the latest one. I think the link he gave is for download the driver, but then you have to do into Device Manager, find your android device and install the driver for it. This step failed for me but anyways, worth a try. I've seen some people saying that this driver https://developer.android.com/studio/run/win-usb worked but I could not add to my Android device in the Device Manager.
PS: still gotta wait for 168 hours and see if this will actually gonna work though
