Hy,
I have flash official nougat uk.
But i have double menus in settings, like double applications and double device manager.
I have heard that if you flash other csc it be ok.
Can someone explain wich csc , and where to find it?
Thanks
How exactly did you flash the UK Nougat files? Which files did you use?
using HOME_CSC has probably messed it up. Reflash using CSC (wipes all data)

Huh, that's unexpected. Just to be clear, you did flash the CSC, right? Just not the HOME_CSC?

Sorry, I have no idea then I've seen that problem with some users who decided to mix files from different Android verisons, but as you've flashed a "complete" ROM, that obviously isn't the culprit here.
Apologies, I thought you meant that you had flashed HOME_CSC.
Can you provide some screenshots to show what's happening?
Here is a screenshot.

Same problem here! But i only flashed as it says on sammobile, add the firmware to AP/PDA, and same here, almost everything in the settings is duplicated
I have the same issue, any fix? I however didn't flash csc at all.

i've got the same problem, very frustrating, plus the keyboard didn't work very well
I had the double menu problem when i flashed superman rom, I dirty flashed over and it fixed it. Starting over with the correct CSC file should fix the issue.
I also had the keyboard problem when i flashed stock using odin. Re-flashing solved it as well, making sure I didnt use the HOME_CSC file. just use the normal CSC.
did you try clean both cache after flash to remove any stray bits of data left over after flashing ?
i finally did it guys! the problem is that i've only used the AP file while the S7 firmware unzips to 5 files ahd you have to install 4 of them.
Hey man I have a question, I have the same problem with double menus, but I just installed the lastest firmware update but just the flashed the PDA, to solve this problem do i have to flash again the 5 files including the PDA or just the the other 4 files since I already flashed the PDA?

Just flash HOME_CSC, reboot right into TWRP recovery and flash sec_csc.zip under /cache/recovery and it'll get fixed.

1. Take a look your CSC.
2. Go to Sammobile.com and download it.
3. Wipe all (remember backup your data before)
4. Flash and reflash this firmware in your device through ODIN (2 times).
5. It will have a hardware issue if you still without sound.

I'm still convinced that it is software problem, as the music player says "unsupported file type" even for mp3, and volume ticker has a big delay when I try to change volume. And unlocking the lock screen is very slow. But, when I choose 'mute' for the sound, unlocking is fine and the phone seems fast again. So it seems that whenever the phone tried to play a sound, it can't, and freezes because it doesn't know what to do....
Also, making a call doesn't work. So I'm thinking it's a modem problem. I will try the BTU firmware....
Does anyone advise doing a full wipe with CWM, so formatting \system and everything, then flashing the stock rom back on?? I'm sure there is a problem with the system files. But I don't know how dangerous doing a format \system is if I flash a new firmware
Does anyone know which custom firmware I can flash if I'm currently on I9505XXUGNG8 stock? I'd appreciate the help, to save opening a new thread.
I don't care if it's a custom rom, or a pre rooted stock, the original stock firmwares aren't fixing my phone at all in regards to the no sound/can't phone/unresponsive camera
Maybe have a look here,

I tried to flash many lollipop roms, kitkat rom and CSC file by odin but still wifi doesn't work.

Yes tar files
What exactly are you flashing ??
These files from sammobile.com are flashed in the pda/ap box? You get the result in the Odin log that the flash succeeded? Imei is correct?
If the answer is yes to all three, it could be a hardware issue? Could be a problem with the efs folder?

Yes yes yes, not hardware issue as it works with modified roms as roms ported from note 5
So wifi works with no issue on custom ROMs? If yes, I am stumped as to why stock didn't work.
there are an fix, quite simple:
open with file explorer( solid explorer), go to system, find : build.prop, open it, find this line: ro.securestorage.support=true and change it to FALSE. and SAVE.
Unplug your router, put it back, restart phone. Pass will retain.
edit: my csc is not there, because i flash with flashfire, but signal gsm, etc all working.

Here is how i boot looped my phone, I rooted it by following this thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/ve...-to-notes-root-install-xposed-unroot-t3411039 and I rooted it successfully. The I needed to unroot my phone and tried following the unroot method on that thread. But I got an error with odin saying "FAIL! (AUTH)" and thought it was the version I was using. So i tried downloading a few different versions and tried the latest update for the s7 and it failed which boot looped my phone. And if i hold power + Volume Up + Home it says recovery booting.... and keeps doing that over and over. so that doesnt work. All i want to do at this point is get my phone unboot looped and unrooted If anybody can help. please do. BTW i have the SM-G930V

You're welcome
Hi, I might have messed up.
Took backup of all media, except that I'd forgotten that I also had a lot of photos saved as mms, directly in the messages. I'd also like to keep some of the messages, from my grandparents etc.
I'm stuck on "breathing" Samsung-logo.
I followed this recipe, as I've used it once before with success. Not this time though.
http://mobilesiri.com/galaxy-s7-edge-exynos-root/
I downloaded the auto-root from chainfire, but it might be outdatet?
https://download.chainfire.eu/930/CF-Root/CF-Auto-Root/CF-Auto-Root-hero2lte-hero2ltexx-smg935f.zip
I used Odin 3.12.3. Loaded the tar-file in AP.
Com + text comes up as good.
Started, and it came up as passed in a matter of seconds.
Phone turns off after a little while, and turn on again.
It won't go past the Samsung-logo when I power it on.
Safe-mode doesn't work, but it will go to download mode. I've tried wiping the cache, didn't help.
I might be mistaken, but could it be possible to flash stock rom from Odin, using this firmware: https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/galaxy-s7-edge/SM-G935F/NEE/download/G935FXXU1DQJ2/193815/
It does look like it according to https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2583588 and https://android.stackexchange.com/q...flashing-stock-rom-via-odin-delete-phone-data
If this isn't the case. Is it possible to install a recovery-program with Odin, even though the phone is "stuck"?
I've heard some people say it *might* be possible.
All the best, and thanks for any input
Chris
Well, I advice you to wait for second opinion, but I was in the same situation, for the exception I knew my current firmware details, re-downloaded the same firmware from sammobile and flash it with ODIN. Whatever firmware you flash, you must use HOME_CSC which is included in the zip package, not the "pure" CSC. Saying it again, it helped me, but I knew my current CSC (changing CSC triggers factory reset AFAIK) and factory reset wasn't made, so you should wait for second opinion before attempting anything. Good luck

How? Was your phone correctly rooted beforehand?
I read that I can install the firmeware of sm-935U in my sm-935V, but when i enter in sammobile page ,there is a huge list of 935U firmeware, wich of those do i have to select to work fine in my phone
If you look at the numbers they are all the same.
Just be sure to flash the CSC fine and not the Home_CSC one when changing the firmware. Remove all the google users first too. All your apps will be deleted.

It's just one zip file. Get the latest one (from 04/2019)... like this one for PDA G935UUES9CSC2 and CSC G935UOYM9CSC2:
https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/galaxy-s7-edge/SM-G935U/VZW/download/G935UUES9CSC2/265864/
Extract before using Odin.
