How to remove S health app? - Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Questions and Answers

Hi, does anyknow now how to remove S Health app?
I did yesterday update on 7.0 then i did root and S Health app is not working because knox is tripped. I found that using older version and then update to new one should be working. But i cannot install older version because S health still remains in system.
Tried to remove both app and service by System app remover and Link2SD app to remove S health but it keeps restoring it self.
Can anyone help me with this? I have Gear S3 frontier now that is a half useless without S Healht. Funny fact that on my rooted LG G5 is S health working so anti root protection is only for Samsung devices...what a premium feature :cyclops:

if u use custom 7.0 rom it will work just fine but thats up to u.

S-Health broken (solved)

If S-Health is totally broken and you can't launch it because the app is crashing every time.
Here is what you can do :
go to: Application manager > all
Uninstall S-Health & HealthService updates and clear data.
You will have them back to factory default.
Update them again with your Samsung account.
If your using Galaxy Gear Fit manager... maybe you should uninstall it too
You should now be able to run S-Health
I have this problem. But after update to new version and restart phone shealth crash ;-( work only old version.

Please already tried looking in various places and couldn't find anything to help me.
Got the Galaxy S5, before I wore only the S3, my problem with the S5 is that I can't update the S-Health, when I do a message pops up saying you must also update the Health Service, when I do this the S-Health crashes.
Just after returning all factory settings S-Health back to work without the update.
Use the Gear Fit and when using S3 with Fitness with Gear there was this problem, could show the data in the pedometer, exercise and heartbeats without problems.
Can someone help me? SM-G900M stok version 4.4.2

Same here, S Health before the update works fine however after updating S Health is forces a Health Service update as well. After updating both S Health stops working. I have to keep the old version for it to work
Same here. The upgrades FCs the new version. If anybody finds a real solution to it please post here. Stock rom with stock kernel.
Yup same for me too, stock ROM and kernel. Only the old version works.

You don't need to unistall SHealth updates, try this module.

Can't use app S health after flash Offical ROM Android 7.0

App Alet popup
---------------------------------------------------
"Your device has been compromised
Because of a new security policy
intruduced in version 5.0 knox is not
available on compromised devices."
---------------------------------------------------
I have same problem, cannot use my Gear S3 now, funny is that S health works at non Samsung rooted devices :/
Some say to uninstall s health and install a previous version.. to open it and set it up and then to update the app
Check your knox. Its probably 0x1.
Knox is tripped ofc after root, i tried to unistall app but i cannot get it unistall, tried app from play store and link2sd to unistall it but it still there so if i try to flash older version i get error saying that file is corrupted.
Flashing official ROM using Odin does not trigger Knox (at least it shouldn't). I have the same problem after flashing official 7.0 ROM and my Knox Counter is NOT triggered (it is 0x0000).
I cannot uninstall or downgrade S Health since it's a "default app".
Any workarounds?

If knox is triggered then:
- make a root
- remove S health with Titanium Backup
- install older version S health before version 5
- launch app, sync account and then update to new version of S health
Working, tested one hour ago, i had this problem after flashing and rooting 7.0 stock rom.

TIA

I had to try three versions. Two kept saying they were corrupt when trying to install. I managed to install the third but, when I try to sync, I keep being told the server is temporarily offline. I suppose that may be true but I doubt it.
And now whenever I try to open the app, it freezes and the only way to open it is to clear the data in the app settings.
So I think it's back to Marshmallow for me for now. I need S Health for my Gear S3.

I tried going back to Marshmallow but after I boot the Galaxy S7 it asks for a code. I have no idea what to do next because no code seems to work.

Have you checked if it's tripped or are you just guessing? Are you on your phones official firmware or did you flash different firmware in Odin?
I think it's not compatible with N.
I flashed MM after trying RR, and then it worked just fine. Strange though, Samsung should be able to get their apps working.

You can try package disabler pro. If that don't work then you SOL unless you root.

Yes I tried it but I don't know which app or script has to be disabled.
Update: Using Package Disabler Pro freezes various apps then the next 48 hours I dont recieve any notifications to software updates. In reality, I still dont know which one of the apps prevents the update. The freeze apps are:
AT&T Remote Support
Backup and Restore Manager
ConfigUpdater
DiagMonAgent
Nearby Service
In addition to others such as Direct TV and bloatwares from AT&T that have nothing to do with the software update.

Samsung Pay and Framework

So me and my itchy fingers messed up Samsung Pay somehow and now all i get is aN "unable to connect/update" prompt.
So here's what I did.
I saw that there was an update on apk mirror to Samsung Pay 2.9.60 so i decided. Yeah why not? So I proceeded to sideload the apk and thought, ok maybe I should get the latest framework right? Thats where I proceeded to download and install the latest and greatest 2.7.55 framework.
And now, Samsung Pay doesn't work anymore. When it did, it was showing a new version of the Samsung Pay with rewards etc (I'm sorry I didnt manage a screenshot). But it was mostly in korean, plus some features in german (I guess i confused the hell out of the phone).
I am unable to connect let alone add a card and I think the only solution now would be to do a factory reset or flaah the latest ROM through Odin.
TL;DR I updated Samsung Pay and ****ed it up, please do not do that if you (like me) didn't know what you were doing
I am on 1AQF7 with the multi-CSC
I think you just messed up with SafetyNet or something like that. Normally, you can "uninstall" updates from system apps. Try seeing if something like "Uninstall updates" is available in the app manager. If it isn't, you need to reflash the stock rom using odin.
One thing more: If you rooted your phone to replace a system app, you might have tripped knox, and so far as I know, Samsung Pay won't work with tripped knox.
Unfortunately you can't uninstall the samsung pay framework unless you have some PDP. Another way to downgrade is to factory reset. You don't usually want to mess with Samsung pay nor its framework. Samsung is very strict with that app and it's best to just let it be especially if it was working before
Apparently I received an update for Samsung Pay through the Samsung App store and it fixed all the problems. Samsung Pay 2.8.20 and framework is now 2.7.76. I have no idea what has changed (apart from the version numbers) but its certainly working now.
Further information:I'm in Switzerland and added a card from another country that also has Samsung Pay. Seems like the app doesn't care and it works.

Hmm I've been wanting to know this too. Are you rooted?
Yes, my phone is rooted.
you can delete the update apk in /system/priv-app/FotaAgent and reboot or use root essentials app on play store (use it all the time) you can do anything and especially app management with delete, freeze , etc etc of course for rooted
I have renamed the FotaAgent.apk. Hopefully this should be enough to prevent it from auto updating.
