Hi,
I have german T-Mobile (DTM) Exynos S7 Edge, Stock ROM but rooted.
Is there a way to get the Xposed Framework running? If so, how? I don't want to flash a custom rom, as I would loose WIFI-Calling with a custom rom
a quick search and behold results:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/s7-edge/how-to/guide-sm-g9350-s7-edge-qualcomm-sd820-t3410969
No Xposed for Nougat (Again a quick search would of told you that too)
"Sorry for the sarcasm, i hate bone idleness"
Additionally most Roms have VOLTE (Wifi Calling)
A quick search would of told you this too
okay, so
1st your link is for qualcomm snapdragon, I asked for exynos
2nd marshmallow is enough, as the current DTM rom is marshmellow
3rd VOLTE is not Wifi Calling. DTM has VOLTE and WiFi-Calling and I want to keep both

Search for Xposed for Samsung by Wanam (XDA), you can install and use Xposed without issues, but you have to use wanam's Xposed cause official version won't work on Samsung stock firmwares...
You don't need TWRP for flashing, you could use FlashFire (uncheck mount system for flashing Xposed) for flashing or use Xposed installer from DVDAndroid which can download and flash Xposed directly...

As the title suggests, has anyone been able to install xposed yet to the stock rom? Ive rooted and attempted with the official links from xda forum, but just got boot loops (as expected) so had to flash back to backup.
If you have successfully installed could you throw a brief guide on how you did so,
thanks
Try wanam's unofficial xposed.. according to him it works.. just search hi thread.

Not working on mine. After first reboot device hangs on startup. Live boot says it tries to starting rpmb but then it says
E/rpmbd device fail
Or e/sveclient could not start.
Anyone? I've disabled packages but I can't get a stable boot
Xposed work very good. I have it and it is nice, call recording, flat style, wanam, gravitybox, etc

Most likely since it will trip knox, but i would imagine samsung would still replace the phone if its a hardware failure, i mean if they can't boot the phone then they can't tell knox is tripped... right?

Just a heads up. I get boot loops sometimes on restarts. I noticed when I clear dalvik cache I have some errors on startup. To fix this I boot to TWRP and shut the device down completely. On startup everything loads fine. Hope that will help anyone with problems

Ye you also need to install the Xposed App
Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
Hello.
I have got S7 Edge G935F and, correct me if I'm wrong, but if I want to install Xposed, I need to:
- root the device: DONE (thanks to Chainfire)!
- install CWM Recovery, but is it necessary if I rooted the device with Chainfire method and I have exactly this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zF9vLU65zTs ?
- flash the recovery package with Xposed? Which one?
- install the Xposed .apk
Is that all or I need to do something else?

Install systemless root, install Magisk and install systemless Xposed. You can't use the system version. It will go bootloop.

Do I still need the systemless root? I was told in a different thread that if I do the latest SuperSU it was already Systemless.
Also does this require that Magisk thing?

I don't think i understand what you mean, you can use any root. But for "normal" root you need to patch the kernel.

My personal experience is some modules don't work well with Emui and even lag and/or increase battery consumption of the phone. Hiding root or greenify, for example, are a hit or miss.

Did You Know That You Can Install Any Rom From G900F

Hey buddy, wanted to thank u for the rom suggestion. This rom is flying on my phone! I just wish I could get the google assistant from the pixel phones working. The google now on tap won't work, I believe this is why the assistant is failing. Long press on home does nothing. I been trying to find a fix with no luck.

Hi,
How do I install the Xposed Installer software on my rooted S7 Edge (G935F)? I've installed the apk from the developer's site, but when I ran it said it wasn't compatible with my device's processor's architecture and gave warnings that I may end up in a boot loop.
Thank you,

If you have Nougat 7 installed Xposed framework is NOT compatible.
It's not yet compatible with Nougat 7 firmwares or roms.
Good luck, have a great day!
Thanks for the quick reply. Do you happen to know if the developer(s) have said anything about when they might roll out such a version?

All I know is that the developers have been
working on it for a few weeks now.
Don't know when it will be ready.
Thanks again. My G935FD originally came with Marshmallow, but I have since flashed the newest stock firmware (7.0) and rooted it. Is going back to Marshmallow as simple as flashing the previous firmware? I'm mainly asking because I want to use Xposed to restore a Titanium backup of Viber and keep the message history without activation (SIM card is in another country).
