I have Axon 7 model, probably International version (4 GB RAM/128 GB ROM). I would like to know, if it can get an update to Android Nougat such as US version. Also, is there any chance of replacing MiVoice (when holding home button) with Google Now?
Thanks for any response.

They're actually downgrading the international version to KitKat and ditching MiVoice. But instead, they're opening a toll-free, international number that you'll be able to call and have people on the other end Google things for you.

So I've noticed that there are some international firmware available online:
http://aria-file.com/?cd=Huawei/M/Mate 8 - NXT
Unfortunately, seems to be all Iranian sites, and they all want money for the downloads.
Anyone see these files out in the wild somewhere? I'd like to try flashing the international firmware over my Chinese firmware.
hm not sure but it looks like im able to download the roms without having to pay. will try again from my laptop (on mobile now) and report back...

Thanks! I can't even seem to make an account. Whenever I do, I try to login and it's called inactive.
nope, false alarm unfortunately, cant access the site either, even with a registered account....bummer!
im sure, additional sources will pop up in due time though
I managed to pay for it and get the latest firmware for both international models. I also successfully converted my Chinese model to an international model, in terms of software. I will write more in a separate post after figuring this out a little more.

Someone tested which Firmware is better the chinese B137 or international B133?
well with B133 theres definitely less hassle configuring the google apps and services also got the world record in geekbench for released mobile devices with other AL10 phones with international firmware getting consistently higher scores than stock al10 and stock l29 phones

I can flash the international rom right?
What I didn't fully understand is if OTA updates are still available if I have an unlocked, rooted AL10 device with an international rom.
Not having OTA updates wouldn't be a big problem though.
Is there anything else to be concerned of or is it safe to go for the AL10?
I'm in UK using al10 no problems at all something's are better on Chinese version tbh
Sent from my HUAWEI NXT-AL10 using Tapatalk
Yes you can. I know I have... Every device unlocked regardless if it is AL10 or L29 cannot get OTA updates. So the only downsize to AL10 is that if you keep it with chinese rom you will get chinese in some apps and that you will have to install manually google services , contactssyncadapter etc...

I am using the Kang VIP rom right now which come standard with GAPPS. It took a little setting up, but it's the best rom I've used so far. No freeze ups, force closure of apps, or anything.
If I had the choice (well I did lol) I'd get the AL-10.

For some reason the Chinese version always gets the first updates and a lot of ROMS are more compatible with less problems on the AL-10.
I have the Chinese version as stock, had 2 little issues
A) Power saving in smart saving mode is still very aggressive- it likes powering down apps - tasker and autovoice get switched off when I didn't use them. But that is fixed by setting apps as protected.
B) Bluetooth is a little unreliable since the last ota - I have smart security on the phone and an lg watch. I have to put in the code in odd occasions and I've lost sound on a Couple of headset phone calls.
But I would still recommend the phone
Ok guys, thanks for the info, I got the AL10 on Monday and I love it, had no problems yet
Finally Nougat 7.0 is available for G5 Sprint! Check OTA to get it.

I don't know about this but we can wait. LG have said that they will unlock bootloader after 7.0 update.
Downloading right now. FINALLY!
Edit:
Lets see how this runs. It definitely feels different.

Source?
I've been told that the G5 now supports themes on the nougat update. Anyone wanna try my theme i made and confirm that it's working?

It's kinda odd the source hasn't been posted nor has Sprint update their updates page. I still installed it. Not sure what I think yet.....I know I hate the menu from holding the recent app button is gone. And I hate they are now using the google emojis. Liked the LG ones much better. Themes do work or least the ones included. the default and two others. They do turn the system menus black. w00t w00t

System updates > Update LG software
will be possible now to remove the bloatware?
Just installed it. Not thrilled that they moved the clear all apps button to the top of the page screen. Also the lock screen looks weird. All stuff I'm sure I'll get used to. Except for the clear all button. That's some mad bs.
I like it so far. It seems smoother and more responsive.

specifically for the plus in my case. I've been monitoring some Chinese devs, but haven't seen any focus on the p10 and plus quite yet. I imagine they would be first to work on it, but I was wondering if anyone here isn't readying release of their own. first and foremost a recovery.

Don't think there is an HK or international ROM available yet, but GMSInstaller will get Google on ur phone while u wait

I will use the GMSInstaller in the mean time.

October? OCTOBER?!?!? AHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!! It looks almost like a joke. But I suppose this is the result of the delays. They had the codebase ready weeks ago, they needed to debug and they did not want to risk introducing new bugs, quite likely. Acceptable, overall.
Edit: and I'm not even getting it OTA yet. It's on the Updater app, though.
Anyone try this on the T-Mobile variant converted to international model yet? Does it give you the "Build Version does not match Hardware version" error?

Nope, those issues are not fixed on Open Beta 2, or Stable 10.0.1, OnePlus is really pissing me off, they've really dropped the ball these last few months.

Can you please check if your phone is Google Play Store certified? From what I understand it should not be as TMobile did not certify this phone for A10 yet.

Yeah, stupid, they have that beta on Nov, so if you try a local update it will fail due to older patch. Only TWRP flash worked for me.

Who said that? But November sure as hell should be there! And Samsung had theirs before the end of November for DECEMBER, and Essential had their December patch out the first day of December, which is before the Pixel 4 series, which still hasn't been released. Quit sticking up for OnePlus, when it's very clear they are screwing up lately.

I have flashed that leaked android 10 via local upgrade from beta android 9 and it's working fine.
Is it possible to get the official android 10.0.1 on my oneplus 6t (TMO converted to international)

Well somebody around here said it worked but some of the issues are still there. Like the Google certification and others... So I wouldn't jump into the update just yet... I'll wait some time. I jumped when the "stable" 10.0.0 came out and regret it so I reverted back. So I'll just wait for now. I'm also a Tmo 6t converted. RightNow on 9.0.17

Wifi doesn't turn on
I cannot get wifi to enable. I have reset my phone multiple times, even with msm tool, then upgraded to android 10. It works but after a few reboots, or until I've rooted with magisk, it stops, and I cannot enable it. Wondering if there is a solution to this?

For me, it just says that the installation failed when I try to do the local upgrade option. No information on why.
