Can someone knowledgeable please help me understand why CM/LOS 14.1 based ROMs do not support VoLTE bands in US for us on T-MOBILE network?
Please don't confuse us with Indian customers on Jio, we know it works for you!
Strangely AOSP and CAF based Nougat ROMS fully implement VoLTE for US customers on T-Mobile.
What is CM/LOS missing??????

I have tried some custom roms on my moto g4 plus {xt1643}. But non of them support volte. Any developer who is working on volte working rom plz must reply.......

The US version (XT1644) supports VoLTE (more exactly Enhanced LTE) with original FW.
Now, AFAIK, all the "custom" ROM's around here are based on CM13 - and CM does NOT support VoLTE (don't know why, maybe licensing issues).
It has been around 1 month and yet VOLTE isn't fixed in any Android 7.1.1 rom either Lineage or RR...
Is there going to be another kernel/source code release for 7.1.1 and devs are waiting for it or they have just abandoned 3s/prime ?
PS: Is there any way to use volte on these roms ?

cause redmi 3s is well known phone for being buggy and no one wants to make working rom for it.
Hey guys I am from India and you all know that we are using jio sim with LTE and VOLTE but sadly our s4 has no volte but someone has made roms on that but they are working on only stock roms. My question is is there any chance of getting volte in resurrection remix or lineage os 14.1 PLZ PLZ PLZ HELP........

Sorry if it is a redundant question but I've haven't got a clear answer of why VoLTE on S7 edge Pie roms (Lineage and AOSP variants) is considered impossible.
