After updating to 3.1 with the leak one. Using fine for a few hours. And didn't rooted. Then ,
There are a lot of massage box said many functions have to" force close" such as bluetooth and so on.
Then I restarted it.
Problem comes !!!
While boosting, there is a massage box said " All pre-install process complete!"
Then ask me to enter a password "Enter your password" and cannot access to the OS. It keep my screen with this page.
And I did not set any password at all.
I tried 1.Re flashing the leak 3.1 via sd card , 2.flashing the FULL PACKAGE via sd card, (which is for 3.0) ..... and both are not the way to solve. Everything still the same, " All pre-install process complete!" every time I try to open the tab and "Enter your password"
Any suggestion ????
I guess this has to do with that recovery_install.sh script that you should delete before messing with self installing recoverys.
You should root your device (theres actually a howto in the dev section), install CWM then do a full wipe (System, Dalvik, etc.) and then install a stock rom from within CWM and you should be good to go again.
Oh hell sorry, just read that you cannot access the os at all. Well then try if you can connect via ADB?
Hard to say what else you could try as you already seem to have done most!
thanks for the advice.
BUT
I don't know how to do now as I cannot do anything with my tab coz it struck at the page "Enter Your Password".I can only volumn + and - .... That is. Cant even log into the OS.
Only something via external SD. (nothing happends when I connect my tab with PC also)
is it possible that you have encrypt your tablet ?
But there is a way that u can do by plugging keyboard and press home.. something like that.. that triggers factory reset

Hi guys, I have one Kinpad i600, and last week try update, using
wrong rom( I get on this forum).
Now my tablet is bricked, cant update using recovery mode (I alread try put anothers rom version on SD CARD and nothing).
Cant acess for ADB too, in Windows I dont locate yet correct drivers for this tablet.
I just install Ubuntu on another PC, and try install ADB too, but no sucess on access tablet.
Someone have one idea to resolve my problem??
Sorry for bad english
You need to enter recovery mode.. i dont have a kinpad so idk how.
Once you are in recovery, you can then maybe fix it.
Hello all.
I dropped my N4 the other day, breaking the digitizer. Screen is fine, receives calls and texts etc, but I have no touch functionality at all.
I am not sure I want to fix the phone as it looks a little beyond what I can do. So, I want to sell it as it is for someone else to fix. I am rooted etc on stock rom. Phone is recognised as an android device when connected to my laptop (win 8.1) but I can't access my data at all. I have tried to flash the stock rom again using Nexus 4 Toolkit, but it doesn't find my nexus. I have uninstalled and reinstalled drivers etc. Still no luck.
I booted into recovery, but for some reason I chose a the touch recovery twrp, so that is unusable for me. All I want to do is format the thing to sell it on and be done with it.
Any ideas?

Download the 4.3 factory images, boot your phone in fastboot, connect it to your PC, and use the "Flash-all" script in the factory images zip. It should restore and wipe your phone, and you don't need any touching.

Phone is in fastboot, windows beeps when connection phone up, clicking on 'flash all' brings up the command prompt telling me fastboot isn't recognised as an internal or external command . . . .
Things like debugging are on, as I have the jellybean logo also.

That description really helped on that link. Using that, and then the Nexus 4 Toolkit, it all came together and I have put it back to the stock ROM now. Thank you :good:
Call me stupid, but I'm really desperate and begging for help! I used the Android Device Manager on my Tab 3 8.0 to remotely lock my phone. So it worked. But when I used the password to unlock the phone that was set earlier on ADM, my phone keeps saying that it is the wrong password.
Fair enough, I actually used my home PC to do the exact same thing. I went to the ADM site and set alphanumeric and numerals only password and still, WRONG PASSWORD!
What can I do?! I restart the phone and then nothing worked!
Hello siva992, put it back into the two new password in the computer I use only four digits, not failed. Remember to use new numbers, not the same as you have before. Good luck.
You should contact them for help as if it's not notes fail.
If no other ways then you have to do a reflash with Odin.

i too had locked my nubia device through android device manager.
it can be bypassed by rebooting into recovery mode and you need to format /data and /cache.
after this restart your phone through recovery mode it may take 5 to 10 minutes to finally show "android is updating your apps " something like this.
this method worked on my nubia mini and i thing technically it might work on every android phone that is capable of booting into recovery mode.
this method would not delete your photos, music, etc.
only contacts and app data will be gone,i am sure that won't be an issue.
So my nephew brings me his galaxy s6 t-mobile phone... He forgot his lock pin so he factory reset it. Now he can no longer get into the phone because he doesnt know the correct email or password. I did some digging through the net watched a few videos... and found none of the methods they used to bypass the lock would work on his phone. Then I read about the Combination Rom (Factory Binary)... At this time I do not have any windows pc's and my VM will not read the usbs of the phone... (im not that experienced with vm to set this up) So i grabbed JOdin for linux and proceeded to try to flash the binary. However, JOdin did not work for me. So i found Heimdall and installed to learn that i had to find some weird way to run it as SU for it to work... Tho Heimdall worked like a charm.... With Heimdall I had to take the rom and completely extract it to a folder and find all the img files in it to install on heimdal like sboot, boot, cm, system, and quite a few others as well.I used the "PIT" file from the combination rom (which came in the download). When done installing the phone boots into Factory Binary... Interesting little rom... From here you can access settings, tho the instructions tell you to enable developer options and turn on usb debugging... in this rom they are set on by default i believe, so that was kind of a waste of time... then from the main menu you click the icon that looks like a calculator and type in "*#0808# where you are then presented with usb options. Select the last one on the list with adb at the end of it, click save and reboot. At this point I thought i was supposed to install the stock rom back (that was where i was lost) however all you have to do is let it boot back to binary. After it has reloaded... plug it into the pc and send it the proper adb instructions to disable frp lock. Techeligible has a batch file for use in windows, however if you dont have windows like me that does no good... So I went into the batch file with a text reader and extracted the information i needed ( 3 adb commands). In terminal i made sure my adb and fastboot were updated and working. I learned that when you type "adb devices" it will show the phone and if it says nothing else you are good to go. However it may give you a problem with permissions. If this is the case then unplug and make sure usb debuggin is on, you can also check that the adb is enabled again by doing the *#0808# command again and make sure the last selection is checked. When all is in order... At first I thought all commands must work for it to succeed... However this is not true at all. Only one of the adb commands will not give an error and at that time you can reboot into download mode and install the stock rom back on. After installation the phone will reboot and FRP Lock is no longer on... Now you can go into settings open up developer settings (tap build number till it unlocks) and select "OEM Unlock" and turn it on. Make sure usb debugging is on and you can boot back into download mode and install TWRP without a hitch.
I tried installing a couple of custom roms, however I have had no success with getting one to boot. (always stuck in boot loop even with wipe or factory reset) so I gave up and left him with the stock rom. If anyone has any idea of how i could get passed the bootloop maybe i can try again for him sometime and see how he likes various custom roms, but now he is happy he has his phone back working and it only took me a week of off and on frustration to figure it out... Hope this helps someone... (please dont ask for links) but if you do need help or have questions feel free to ask.
