Since about 3 months I own a Yotaphone 2. Since then every 4-6 weeks my Sim Card is defect. It is a German Telekom prepaid card. There are similar Sim Card problems reported with Oneplusone.
Does anyone know about such problems and how to avoid it? May android 6 make things better or is it a hardware problem? Any hints welcome.
No ideas?
Here is a link to an article describing the oneplus problems. It sounds very similar to what I experince on the yotaphone.
Ups, im not allowed to post links.

Hi guys.
Any news on that? Few months ago I heard that we should be able to lay our hands on 16 gig cards in June but I've been browsing websites of various E-shops and there is no information about these cards. So when can I expect them and what will be the estimated price?
They are being put on websites
These cards are being put on websites such as these
http://www.mymemory.co.uk/Micro-SDHC/SanDisk/SanDisk-16GB-Micro-SD-(SDHC)-Card---Class-4
But if you click to buy they all say out of stock so i am presuming they will be out in the near future sometime during june perhaps? but they may be rolled back
There are loads of topics like this one on the forum. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=357297
I would appreciate it if you bumped one of these topics instead of making a new one as that make the whole searching thing alot easier.
The reviews posted over the weekend indicate there is an 8 GB SD card included in the box.
Is that a vendor deal or is it supplied by HTC?
Reason I ask is I have ordered an SD card with the phone which I won't need if it comes with one already. I phoned Expansys sales and they don't think it comes with an SD card.
Any definitive advice would be most welcome ...otherwise I just have to wait and see!
Thanks
Mal
I also want to know this, please post where did you guys bought it and if it had the sdcard on package, inside or outside...
In dutch (UK version of Thouch HD), this information wasn't there yet yesterday when i looked at this website (http://www.pdashop.nl/product/59806/htc-touch-hd-uk.html)
In de doos:
Accu
Headset
Netlader
Handleiding
CD-rom met software
USB-kabel

In the box:
battery

I spoke with the Expansys sales rep here in CHina and he seemed to think that the one which ships to Hong Kong (and therefore the one that makes into the mainland) would most likely have a 1gb card, however the website clearly states there will be an 8gb card. Not sure if this is standard for the region or if the local guy is just taking it before he ships them out. THis is common practice here in CHina to buy something new and find that the distributor opened it up and swapped out the memory cards, batteries, charger, etc. with much crummier OEM stuff and then re-shrinkwrapped it. I've e-mailed Expansys UK and expansys HK to ask and will let you know if I get any concrete confirmations.....
Scandisk 8GB microSDHC in box
Hi!
HTC ships the HD with a Scandisk 8GB microSDHC memory card in the box for the hungarian distributor. Since Hungary is in EU I assume it will be the same for other EU countries as well.
But to be completly sure ask the distributor in your country!
Brgds,

France
In France too, it will ship with 8Go Micro SD card
I am about to order this http://www.expansys.com.gr/p.aspx?i=175641
Is the Greek version of expansys my question is, if there is already an 8GB microsd in the box, why this value pack contains 8gb "expansys" microsd (appart from the case and the car charger)?
Does that mean that I will receive the touch hd with 8gb sandisk in the box, PLUS the extra 8gb "expansys" card?
In México is also included the 8gb card
But it´s soo expensive here.... $1,200USD!!!
Sounds like expansys is trying to make money out of you guys.
HTC will include ScanDisk 8g SDHC in the package all over the world...same goes for battery,headset,etc...standard pack.
If you buy it trough an operator the pack might be different, but never less then original HTC package...unless of course you live in a third world country(like somalia,Ruanda,Ghana,etc...) where you go to customer services complain and they beat you with a baseball bat and steal your HTC HD

Hello,
Please where did you get this news.
Thanks
mobiles.co.uk do not list it as included
Right here, http://www.expansys.com/ft.aspx?k=115444 , a guy from expansys confirms that the 8gb card is included!!!
Nevertheless, if someone receive his HD from expansys please confirm if the card is inside...
I`m Romanian and we have a real problem concerning what you really get in your box. My HD should arrive in a couple of days and I don`t think I`ll get the 8GB MicroSD as the dealer didn`t post this detail in the product`s specs... I`ll be back in a few days with an Later Edit to let you know if I did got the card or not... Fingers crossed.

Confirmed that the CHinese expansys distributor is stealing the 8gb cards out of the boxes and repackaging them. I would bet this is going on in a lot of countries, wheni called the main expansys customer srevice line they told me nothing they could do about it so apparently they don't care..... @ssh*les.....
@Raziel1 - Already read that but the problem is not with the original content the problem is with our dealers.. It wouldn`t be the first time I receive something else... Also.. They are not responsable because on their site they don`t post extre accesories like cards... It`s similar to what mlalahoi said. Repackiging is possible... The main thing is I just don`t trust them... I guess I`ll see when I receive my HD.
@htc_hd I ordered my HD from eMag.ro like a week or so ago... They say it`ll arrive on Nov 14th... clicky here
@townkat Hello!

@drik--thanks man
I cant post links yet, but on ebay if you type N9005 64GB there is only one guy selling this.
Does this seem legit? You have to buy 2 for $1400, anyone want to go halves with me?
Is this going to have that UK sim restricted sticker on it? Will I be able to use the LTE on this phone on the Rogers network in Canada?
Any experts out there that can help me out with all of these things Im clueless on? Im used to just buying an unlocked phone and having it work off the bat. Never bought something from another country like this before.

I exchanged several emails with that guy and he doesnt wont to do PayPal - bank to bank only transfer. Sounds like a scam to me, and if you zoom in on the pictures of the boxes he posts - the white sticker says "32GB". I've already explained to you in another thread UK phones wont work on Rogers' LTE, unless you flash Rogers' modem to it.
Last year I saw where some purchased a '64GB' phone and it was actually a 32gb phone with a 32gb SD card... That was scandalous..
Both microphones on my i9300 are failing so I am looking for a used but fully functional 16gb mainboard to revive it. It must be one that operates wit European SIM cards. If anyone has a somewhat broken phone with an in tact mainboard pls send me a pm.
Cheers
P.S. Hope this inquiry is ok .. in the forum rules I only saw that selling is prohibited.
Got the 64gb international version from gearbest last week to replace my Nexus 6 ( previously phones Sony Z Ultra, Huawei Mate 7, Galaxy Mega previously, Dell Streak). Best phone so far by a long shot. 4G Telstra works fine here in Australia with this model.
Build quality is great and got an OTA update this morning which was a surprise, wasn't expecting much from a Chinese phone after my experience with Huawei. Put Google Now launcher on because its what I am use to which works fine.
Only complaints are the lack of Australia in the region list which means I get an American accent on Google Maps. Screen is a bit washed out compared to the OLED Nexus 6 but that sucked in the day light where as the Mi Mix 2 is heaps better out doors. I need a good out door screen for my drone flying and the Mi Max does a great job.
Honestly thought I would have more issues with this phone but its great and cheap too.
thanks for the review. Can you kindly confirm if the sd card when inserted is working nicely?
sd card work great as well as battery
I too ordered the international 64gb version, just unpacked it and damn... A worthy replacement for my Nexus 6. Prior to that, I checked the wiki and contacted my mobile operator just in case and two out of three bands for LTE work with this phone in Estonia (Northern EU).
Ok a week in now and oh boy is this a great phone, battery is phenomenal!!! Not sure about the SD card, I don't need one with 64gb on board.
Navigation bar button lights were irritating when reading using the Kindle app at night but just disabled them for the kindle Kindle app in the settings, too easy.
10/10 so far for me, a Xiaomi convert.

I actually did have a problem with the SD card. It worked fine on my old phone (Sony C5 Ultra), and my computer could read the data too. But the Xiaomi told me it was corrupt. Switched it back to the Sony and it was fine, so whatever the issue was, was with Xiaomi. I copied all of the data to my PC, let Xiaomi re-format and then copied the data back. A little bit annoying, but had no issues with it since then. Maybe the phone cannot read some format types (ExFAT etc)?

Same with me, I think the phone can only read FAT32 or whatever, SD card works fine but only after phone re-formats.

global rom causes this. Use xiaomi.eu ROM and you won't have this issue.
I bought the 4gb/64gb Indian model. Looks and performs like any premium phone.

Hey mate, we have similar taste in phone. I can't agree more with what you said. I don't think that region option affect much to your phone functionality besides the bookmarks on the built-in browser, you can change the Google TTS voice from the language and input settings and change your voice to Australian or UK English.
Just got this baby to replace my Mi Max 1. I love huge phone, and this by far the best phone I've owned so far (Mi Max 1, Nexus 6, Z Ultra, LG V10, Samsung Note 4, Mediapad X2, Honor Note 8) the best thing is it's so cheap, 300 AUD shipped from Ali.
Black global, 64GB, Aldi mobile (Telstra), Vodafone Dual standby, and 128GB micro SD card altogether with the extension thingy.
Also, you're right, stay away from Huawei as far as possible. Total crap. (Honor Note 8 & Mediapad X2 owner here)
