Faking the Camera - Galaxy A3, A5, A7, A8, A9 Q&A, Help & Troubleshoot

Hi,
I am using an app on Android which is forcing me to take the required picture with the Camera (I can not upload it from my documents). I want to fake the camera by showing a picture from my documents. Is this possible?
I am using a rooted phone samsung a3.

[Q] Replace camera feed with static image

It's my first post here so I'm sorry if this is in the wrong place. I've had a look around these forums for any answer or clues but I couldn't find any so I'm making this thread.
Basically, is there a way/app to replace the video feed that the cameras sees, with a static image. So for example, if I were to us my nexus 7 camera now, rather than see what the camera should see (my ugly mug), its sees an image that I have preselected.
I'm using an app which requires me to hold the camera up to an object. The app then scans the image it's seeing to recognise if it's this particular object it's looking for.
You guessed it, I want to take a picture of this object and save it to my nexus. Then use this saved image to spoof onto the camera. So when the app accesses the camera feed, it see's the image. I guess you could liken it to ManyCam. This obviously would mean I don't have to keep holding my nexus 7 up to the object.
Sorry if that's a bad explanation!
By the way, I'm using a nexus 7 with 4.1.2. It's unlocked and rooted using the stock ROM.
If you are doing app development, why not use the emulator, as I seem to recall it allows you to set the image that the camera API uses (as obviously there is no camera hardware in the emulator.

[Q] Up to date snapSaver?

Hello, i'm looking for a way to view without timing/save snaps , i use an app that does that perfectly well but i want to do that inside the snapchat app because it got more new features like Snap DMs (the chats) and other minor features that any other snapsave app i use doesnt
Also i'm looking for a way to upload videos and photos from my gallery...
I can do all that, but on separated apps
I use SaveMySnap for uploading photos from gallery
I use normal Snapchat app for features the other apps dont have
I use Snapsave for Snapchat most of the time because it just what i need everyday (viewing without timer and saving)...
Does an app or Xposed module that can do all of that exists? it's time consuming and terrible using 3 apps for similar tasks....

Camera with surround shot for Galaxy s4 lollypop

Is there finally at least one normal solution to get surround shot mode (aka photo sphere, 360 photo, vr panorama, orb) at samsung galaxy S4 GT-I9505? I want it to work fast, save images to SD card, use samsung camera's drivers.
Stock camera is well, but there is not such mode there. There is easy way to make surround panoramas, but it has some incomfortabilities:
There is Google camera, which has photo sphere mode, but it has poor settings and can only save pictures in internal storage, not on the SD card. Is it possible to make Google's camera to be a "system application" to be possible to write to sd?
Also I have found an easy solution to install apk from here. It is stock camera from google play edition smartphone. It do not requires root. It was for Android 4.2, but apk works normally on Lollipop. It also has poor settings and saves only on intermal storage.
It seems, that for making good pictures the solution (for me for now) is keeping stock camera with its cool features (autofocusing, animated picture, etc) and one of above cameras for spherical shots.
But also I wanted to ask, maybe there is a solution to port one of samsung's devices camera, which has surround mode to galaxy s4? I think that should be good, due to samsung are using specific hardware drivers for their camera and shots should be bettes quality.
I did a discovery about what cameras has such mode.
As I understand, Note 4 camera has no such mode. But Note 3 camera has.
In this thread they say that they ported Note 3 camera to sgs4. But it is for Android 4.4.2. Is it possible to install it on Lollypop? Because in that case I could keep only single camera application on smart phone.
I also tried that s5 camera port on stock lollypop 5.0.1, but it did not worked for me.
As I understand, in s5 and s6 cameras there is surround mode, but you need to separately download it from galaxy apps.
I tryed to install that ROM which include S6 camera, but in Galaxy apps there is no even one application. So is there a way for somebody extract needed apk from Galaxy apps store (by installing on their S6 for example and extract from file system) and publish it for s4 users?
So, exprienced developers, please help.

Camera app

Hi
I am not a fan of the camera app, especially because it oblige me to use Gallery to open recent photos.
I would like to know if I use another camera app, Google camera for instance, will I have the same image quality ?
I understood that there is software enhancement for photos processing with the S8, is it dependant of the camera app or not ?
Thx
I like this app and would love to see it on my Galaxy S6, is there a way to port it to other devices?
Other apps i used where Open Camera or Camera FV-5
Greetings

Samsung Galaxy J3 Camera Shutter Remote via Bluetooth

I have several apps that use the camera on my phone, and some of them require a very still image. I'm in my sixties with very shakey hands so it's impossible for me to get a good response from these apps (even just a basic photo from the built in camera app). I've seen bluetooth camera controllers, but from what I've seen they either specify they only control the built in camera app or they don't specify anything. I need a recommendation for a good remote control which will trigger the camera's shutter no matter what app I'm using. Say I'm using app 'A' (to take pictures of a leaf and identify the kind of plant). Any time I touch the phone (Samsung Galaxy J3) all I get is a blur and the app will not recognize it. Is there any kind of device that will simply tell the camera shutter to trigger, no matter what app is using it? Or am I fighting a loosing battle? (every app controls the camera in different ways?)
