How to bypass SM-G360V Samsung Account Lock Screen - Samsung Galaxy Core Prime Questions & Answers

I received a Samsung SM-G360V phone a months ago from a friend who no longer uses the phone. I soon realized that the phone was not able to get pass the Samsung Account lock screen. I have asked my friend but they do not have the account info. I have searched for ways to bypass the screen but nothing has worked. Is there a way to completely wipe the current ROM, then install a custom ROM (or maybe even stock) that would get rid of the Lock Screen? Or, is there an easier way that I am unaware of?

why not just boot into recovery and wipe data? or use odin to flash the stock rom. i have the same phone so i know theres an image on xda. also its not the new update so your able to get root if you use kingroot. theres no custom roms or recovery for this phone i have looked everywhere. It was all i could do to even find a way to root. To boot into recovery you turn it off and hold volume up home and power. To boot download mode to use odin you hold the same with volume down instead of up.

I have Samsung Galaxy j36 v and I can't seem to bypass the Google account

Vibrant Locked Out

So, dumb self made a pattern that I don't remember. So my Vibrant is at the Too Many Pattern Attempts screen. I've tried to wipe the phone using vol up and down plus power but that doesn't remove the too many attempts screen at all. The only gmail account that I hooked up to my phone keeps telling me that something is incorrect yet I can log in to my gmail fine from my computer... What can I do? I tried to do Odin, but vol down plus power does nothing on my phone. It just continuously power cycles... When I boot into the recovery screen I can use Odin but it just hangs at checking files... Any suggestions?
Do you have coverage? Maybe the Google verification can't connect. It always worked on my myTouch and once on the Vibrant.

Tmobile Galaxy S pattern locked out, can't root
I just bought my first Android device, the Samsung Galaxy S from Tmobile from the US (I live in China) last week. I have only used it a few days and my girlfriend thought the pattern lock would be a fun game to play. Result - locked out. I have the same problems as in the below thread:
http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=4784
I tried the receive a phone call then hammer the home key; emergency call and go to search and many of these type fixes; however none have gotten me through. It seems they fixed the security problem here but didn't fix the username password problem as I'm sure the credentials I entered are correct and I have data service.
After giving up on these methods I tried doing a hard reset. BTW, on this model you must hold down volume up AND down buttons at the same time, then press the power button to get the reset screen.
I have cleared user data etc, but when I try to reset the phone I get the error message "setup.zip not found".
I understand that I now need to root the phone, so I tried the method explained here but without having access to the phone I need to load this setup.zip file on the SD (not the one with Avatar).

I already installed Kies (has Outlook sync functionality!) on my desktop so that I can access the internal memory as an external drive. However the phone's USB mode must be set to (it will prompt whenever I connect) to Kies mode. However since I am locked out of the phone I can't tell the phone to get into Kies mode, therefore cannot access the internal memory, therefore cannot load setup.zip, therefore cannot root, therefore cannot get past the pattern lock screen = useless phone.
I need to root the phone anyway so I can load a few Asian IME's that didn't come with the phone so don't mind playing with this, but since I'm new to Android it may be a while before I can get through since most root instructions either require access to the internal memory via my computer or access to the phone (past the pattern lock).
If I offer to make a paypal donation could I summon the help of one of the more experienced Android gods that frequent this forum that can help me get through this?
To use odin you need to get into download mode not recovery mode (Volume Down+ Power) but since for some reason that wont work for you, you will have to do something involving the android sdk do you know how to use it?

On one or two tries, when the device was attached to my laptop I got a yellow on black downloading screen but had no idea what it meant. How does this help me root it? In general the volume down+plus power button didn't do anything but reboot it.
I just downloaded the SDK last night for the last time and haven't succeeded in installing it so have still got a bit of learning to go before I can make it useful.
I have the phone back in my hand now so adding some details:
Holding volume up and down and the same time, then pressing powere gets me to the "Android system recover <2e>" screen with four options:
Reboot system now
reinstall packagages
delete all user data
delete cache data
I've tried all and none will get me out of the username/password screen after reboot. If I select "reinstall packages" it says:
E:can't open /sdcard/update.zip
(No such file or directory)
Installation aborted

Unlock S5 Lockscreen without internet connection

Hi everyone,
Sorry if this has been answered before but I've done some serious searching and can't find anything. I've found my old S5 to which I've forgotten the lockscreen pin. I would normally reset it using my Google account but I no longer have a sim that fits nor can I set up a new WiFi connection without access to the settings.
The device is not rooted nor do I think ISB debugging is enabled.
Thanks in advance!

Thanks, I should have made a note that I'm hoping not to have to reset it. I'd much rather be able to access it to see if I have left anything important on there.
If you flashed TWRP you might be able to wipe the security via recovery - but the security is there to prevent exactly what you are trying to do, so it won't be a couple of buttons to press
iirc, you have to adb in from recovery or something, but never done it myself
Flash TWRP with ODIN and have a google on removing lock screen security from TWRP
Or buy a SIM for £1 and top it up £5 (Or whatever your countries £ is
EDIT - Could give this a try

Make a backup in TWRP first (Could always restore the data side of the backup with TiBu after resetting which would ignore the lock I imagine)

SM-T580 Boot looping with 'Custom Binary Blocked by FRP Lock'

So, put my son's SM-T580 on the charger last night, it was fine (he's been using it for months), woke up this morning to it boot looping. It will not get past the initial boot screen and has that annoying red text 'Custom Binary Blocked by FRP Lock' in the upper left corner. It will not boot recovery. I can only boot to the bootloader. Of course, I can't flash anything using ODIN because of the FRP lock. I'm thinking the only options I have is to try flash a stock ROM / Recovery back onto it and start over but I was wondering if anyone else has ever seen or heard of anything like this before I do that. Thanks.

The only thing that I can think of is that someone, somehow disabled the OEM Enable setting in /Developer options. This is what trigger the FRP lock.
You will need to hold Vol-, Home and Power buttons to boot to download mode and use Odin to flash a stock ROM. Then you will need your the Google Login and Password that is registered to the tablet. If you don't know those, you're in a heap of trouble.
As soon as you get stock up and running, the first thing to do is enable the developer options and make sure that OEM is enabled. After that you can flash TWRP and custom ROMS.
If you don't know the Google info, the tablet CAN be salvaged, but it is a complicated process.

This is what I was afraid of. It is my sons tablet so I have all his Google info. I would not be surprised if he somehow reset the developer options. He'll lose some of his game progress but that's nothing compared to losing the whole tablet. Thanks for the reply. Off to download a stock rom and start over.

Protect my Device from getting stolen

Hey guys Recently my Phone got stolen and this time I want to make sure this time it wont happen ever again. I will use Knox and Samsung Secruity to help from it. I have some question, maybe u can anwser them
1) If I lock my Device from Find my Mobile, can the Thief still Factory Reset from Power UP and Vol+ Button from Recovery?
2) Can He still install a Firmware per Odin so he can get acces to my Phone
3) If both can be done , is there anyway to pretend that from Happening?
4) Is knox as good as Icloud?
5) Can i still use find my mobile, if he turns GPS off?
Thanks for the help, this time I will make sure he wont get any benefit from it and I can get my Phone back

I think this is something to do with the app you are using. In theory, you should be able to access the Recovery menu because it loads before the OS. Thus the find my phone app is not loaded and active when the recovery mode is loaded.
However, this is my opinion. And I might not be right. My expertise in the area is limited.
FRP lock should do most of the job for you but nowdays there are ways on bypassing that. But FRP is a pain in the ass to unlock , yet doable.

Galaxy Tab A T585 soft bricked, cannot flash anything in Odin, cant enterDownloadMode

Hi guys, a friend of mine asked me if i can fix her child's tablet (It is galaxy tab A 10.1'' with LTE T585.
Her problem was that she factory reset it, because her child set a pattern and forgot it. They also dont remember the password, hence FRP problem.
I tried to flash a new Official rom from Sammobile and tried to flash it via AP option, but it got stuck on about 95% at Meta-data/Fota.zip and the screen is flashing somewhat. Upon further reading i understood that i need newer Odin, hence i had to unplug the cable and start over. However, I am unable to access download menu anymore. When i press home power down and lock nothing happens, until i plug the cable in. Then Odin sees it (although the tab says Error occurred bla bla use Smart switch PC software, which does not support the tablet weirdly). But i cant flash anything like that it gets stuck at initializing.
I am open for any suggestions on how to fix this or i might have to end up buying a new tablet for her.
Thank you guys!
PS: Ive been long away from samsungs (since S5 disappointment so im not really into samsung specifics).

Irrespective of whatever state the tablet is in just hold in this order HOME + VOL DOWN + POWER. Hold until the screen goes blank then when you see the Samsung logo release after a few seconds.
Once in DOWNLOAD mode flash using at least odin 3.12
Tried that already but Odin was staying on initializing. Gave it to a phone mechanic and he fixed it now i need to find a way to know which Android version it has and how to bypass the frp.
